I first approached Marvin around 5:30 p.m., and he genuinely tried everything he could to help me. Even though he was limited in what he could do at that time, I really appreciated his willingness to assist and the effort he made. Wilham was also incredible. Because there is no interior access to my garage, getting the door open was not an easy situation. He asked me to give him about an hour, took the time to figure out how to release and open the door, and came back in less than an hour with a solution. He could have easily said there was nothing more he could do, but instead he took the initiative to figure it out and came back to help me. Marvin and Wilham both deserve recognition for their effort, kindness, and willingness to help. I truly appreciated what they did for me, especially Wilham taking the extra time to find a solution when there wasn't an obvious one. Thank you both!

He passed away suddenly July 5, 2025. The Brumby made me pay 2 months rent plus one month plenty because I had to break the lease. Yes, my husband died and it has been very difficult. The Brumby is the only business that was so insensitive. Even the XFinity backed dated his account and gave me a refund. If you move here be aware that they will not be kind if for some reason, even death, if you have to move out before the lease is up.

I moved in here back in March of 2019, due to wanting to be closer to where I train (competitive runner on the side). I'll go over the pros and cons below but my experience with the leasing office has been top notch. They really stepped up to help me out when I lost my job due to Covid in 2020, and the new management has been super fast at addressing issues (minimal) & providing additional experiences to residents. Plus, rent control here has been EXCELLENT, making it easier for me to want to renew each year. The renovation period was a bit chaotic, and some reviews reference that crazy year. But the renovations are over and you will reap the benefits of that now. For hikers and trail riders, the apartments back up to the trails at Sope Creek and you are minutes away from Cochran Shoals parking lot. Concerns are addressed quickly, though not all of my concerns have been considered concerns by management. Overall, and comparatively, it's a great place. It's a family oriented community, super quiet in the evenings. I can hear the owls and coyotes howl from my bedroom window.
