You placed your documents into a plastic garbage can and then they loaded that into a truck. There were a bunch of things that you couldn't place into the truck like batteries. I was asked not to add red welds which makes sense because they are thick. I saw a man try to put some weird wet documents into the bin and he was asked to remove them because they could possibly cake up the shredding apparatus. Despite all of this, the representative from the company patiently assisted everyone with an upbeat spirit. My neighbors love that event and are very thankful for it. They love it so much. They always put it on my calendar. It is a great community service and the gentleman from USA Shred was patient, courteous and very helpful. If you are considering a public-facing shredding event or need to shred significant amounts of documents, this place is a good option!

The bins they use to measure are only partially filled by the workers and are over $100 each to shred. Overall this company is not worth it. I've used Code Shred in the past before they were taken over / merged with Shred it and they were very fair now I would steer clear of them and try and use a different company.
