I had one of the worst service experiences I've ever had here…read more The lash application was extremely poorly done -- excessive glue, improper isolation, and multiple natural lashes stuck together. Within 3 days, the set was already falling apart and causing constant irritation and scratching. I've had lashes done many times, including with this technician in the past, and this was by far the worst application I've experienced. It felt rushed and not up to the standard of her previous work. She told me she has learned a new express technique that makes her be able to do a full set in an hour. she also had an appointment right after me and was leaving for New York at 3 am that night on a flight so clearly didn't pay attention to detail and was on a complete rush. It cost me $155 dollars for 3 days of lashes. I had to pay $160 out of pocket to have them professionally removed elsewhere, and the removal took over an hour and a half because of how much glue had been used. I also lost some of my natural lashes in the process, which should never happen with a properly applied set. When I reached out and provided photos showing the condition of the lashes, the response was dismissive and did not take accountability for the quality of the work. On top of that, during the appointment, the technician used a homophobic slur ("f*ggot") in conversation. This was on the last 2 appointments I had. The last she apologized but this time she let it slip again. As a gay woman, that made me extremely uncomfortable and is completely unacceptable in a professional setting. To make matters worse, I was only offered a $50 credit instead of a refund -- despite the fact that I will not be returning and had already spent additional money to fix the issue. Between the damage to my natural lashes, the additional cost, the dismissive response even after seeing photos, the refusal to provide a refund, and the completely inappropriate language, this experience was unacceptable. I would strongly caution others before booking

I booked with Benny and was extremely pleased with the results. He took his time and expertise to curl my extremely stubborn and straight eyelashes. I question if others have the skill and patience of Benny, and highly recommend Benny and the Arteze Lash Lounge.

After all, their services will affect a client's confidence and self perception. That is why I 101% trust Benny & his Arteze team. It's no secret this is an award winning team. They genuinely care about their clients and put you at ease from the start. My cousin came in for a lash extension & she was thrilled with her results. They really captured the natural look she was hoping for. I got a lash lift for myself & it's been some time since I was this confident in my facial features (sad as that sounds). I love how my eyes look right now. To say Alicia was amazing would be such a massive understatement. She made the whole experience wonderful and also made the best, honest recommendations. I'm going to make sure I call up Benny and Alicia for every holiday/event. & I highly recommend coming in whether you are a seasoned lash/brow client or just looking to try it out for the first time (like me).

I like to support local businesses and decided to give her a try. I booked through her site which prompts you to give your credit card info in case you cancel last minute which would lead to a cancellation fee of $20. I booked my appointment and was asked to reschedule to another day, just 2 hours before the initially scheduled session, which was fine. But then, Saturday came and I received the henna brows service which was listed as $40 on her website. At the end of the appointment, I gave her $40 in cash and at this point, she did not mention anything about my credit card on file. The next day, I noticed my credit card statement and saw she charged me $40. I contacted her via Instagram letting her know she double charged me. She responded and said she would send me an etransfer right away. 3 days passed and I still haven't received an etransfer. I followed up multiple times, with no response, and then I found out she had been ignoring me and restricted my profile. I contacted my credit company to see what could be done and I was in shock when they told me she had set me up as a recurring charge!!! I know $40 isn't a lot of money but it's the principle and I'm worried others will book on her site and will get double charged as I did, or even worse, get recurring charges on their credit card without noticing.
