Georgia replied right away and I learned that she has a Doodle named Oscar (who is featured in many of their photos), and she was happy to help and sent the card to me while she was out-of-town! Doodle Moms are always prepared :) The card is absolutely adorable (how can anyone not smile with a handmade card of a happy doodle with a birthday hat?) and we love giving cards that are a one-of-a-kind (unlike when you send the Hallmark card where the person may even receive an identical one). The next time I am driving around RI, I am going to stop in and see this really cute shop, but they have many things on their online shop.

We wanted to buy everything in this store. Everything was hand painted and so creative and cute and we purchased a few items we loved. All in all, this is a great place to get thoughtful gifts for children, babies and even adults alike. The owners seem passionate about what they do and you can tell that love and care is put into every single item. They also apparently have an Etsy shop too so you can buy online if you're not able to visit their store which is situated in the beautiful Hope Artist Village (renovated mill). They helped me isolate two fabrics, so my run of the mill seat became a juxtaposition of masculine and feminine (see before and after pictures). Top pillows are reversible, giving me two looks in one. Truth be told, it is expensive to reupholster. You've got the cost of fabric plus the labour. With this said, I have never regretted spending a single penny. Open seven days a week = convenient! Now, let's all make a pact to clean out the garage so we can upcycle and make space for the car.

The silks are up front, most $35 / yard, so I had a brief sticker shock. But that of course is a good price for real silk, and the prices throughout the rest of the store were right in my comfort zone, especially 9.99/yd for upholstery, with a spectacular selection. I bought 4 yards to make patio drapes, just enough to test what it might look like. It's the kind of store that makes you want experiment, try things out, and that's my favored kind of store.

TERRIBLE delivery service! Bob's Furniture charges $150 for a White Glove experience, just for the…read moredelivery guys to ruin the entire experience for you. The first delivery, the item was damaged. After returning it, I was scheduled for the next delivery date which was 5 days after the original date. When the next delivery date came around, the delivery guys argued with my elderly mother that the item was "too heavy" to bring up the stairs, following he is not going to "break his back" doing so. The best I was offered was another delivery date, with a different team, 10 days later! I had to fight a hard fight to get next day delivery at a special time because I had no one to receive the furniture for me and I had to be at work. I waited 2 hours and nobody showed up! After the 2 1/2 hour mark, I got a call stating the delivery team is outside of my house, but I had already left. I was 2 hours late for work waiting for them to show up and all they had to say was they were delayed. Understanding, delays happen, however, that should have been communicated to me so we can plan accordingly. They shouldn't have just showed up 2 1/2 hours late, especially after the experience I had the pervious day. I've never had an experience as horrible as this over furniture. After going back and forth with delivery team and store associates, dealing with 2 managers and a supervisor, spending three hours on the phone about the delivery driver arguing with my mom while I was at work, then the next day, the furniture showing up 2 1/2 hours late, making me 2 hours late to work... I ended up canceling my order. All that for nothing. And the associates at store level... there's nothing they can do.

I ordered a split king bed online and paid for their "white glove" delivery with set up. The morning of my delivery window came and went, so I called their customer service line to find out what was going on. The customer service rep told me that I owed an additional $42 and that my order was "on hold" until payment was processed. When I asked how this could have happened, because I ordered it online and they were the ones who calculated the total, so the issue was with their system, I was told "yeah, online ordering can be glitchy" I then asked the customer service rep why no one notified me that my order was on hold, especially since they had charged my credit card and sent me an email confirmation that was order was set and I was told that no one monitors that system so there would be no way to notify me unless I called in. What a stupid process and dumb answer to receive. I then had to call back and speak with someone from sales to pay the additional amount and they were able to schedule my pickup for the following Tuesday (they don't deliver on Sunday or Monday for some reason) I then went to read the online reviews and became so concerned because so many people have had problems with this company and everyone had a story of a delivery gone wrong or some other issue. Luckily, I received the bed, with all the parts, and the delivery folks set it up quickly and got on their way. I don't imagine that I'll ever shop here again, the whole experience was frustrating and it's evident that they don't care about their customers.

He has incredible energy, insight, and overwhelming passion for maps. We had a great time talking to him and.. listening to the stories! I will definitely be back with more friends and family . Oh and I found out about this place because I had recently ordered my friend Damien Saunder's awesome Maps on Vinyl coffee table book from there as the local distributor.
