Located right off the highway, I actually missed it the first time around as I was expecting a large front facing building with a lot of parking. I did see the big Antique sign but didn't equate it to the RI Antique Mall, figured we would comes back to this place after going to the Mall one. Guess I was wrong, it was this place. Watch out driving into the lot, some large potholes. So upon entering we saw that it stretched lengthwise and was quite large with a first floor and basement area. Didn't like that the majority of the upper floor has several items placed into locked cabinets. One-you can't really see the item and two-you can't see the asking price. So even though the browsing was nice, it was a little disappointing. The basement area was better as we were able to actually view items clearly. Unfortunately a lot of items were priced a little high so at didn't pick anything up from this location. read more

After making a trip to visit at least 10 antique stores throughout Rhode Island, I can safely say that everything at this antique mall is grossly overpriced. Some of the stalls are so full of junk I couldn't even get in them to see what all they had, and a lot of the furniture for sale was nearly impossible to find the price tag for let alone get a good look at since there were so many items piled on top of them. Waste of time in my opinion. read more

This place is huge and has something for everyone at every price point. The dealers change their stock often so there's always something new to see. I've always found the staff to be helpful and kind. I have furniture, artwork, and knick knacks I've found here over the years and always get compliments from guests on my finds. I've always enjoyed coming here to check out the vast array of items for sale. I come here maybe once a year, and it's one of the few antique places I come to that does have a good turn over and new items when I find myself returning. A lot of items here seem overpriced. However, there are some items that are less $$. Today's trip the total was around $160 for what we purchased. I can try to snap a pic once home of our purchases. The only somewhat annoying thing is trying to get to see items in the cases. Everything locked up. But the people working there are pretty responsive if you can find one. read more

One of my favorite antique destinations! I generally only get to go a few times a year but each time I go, I end up spending HOURS (if not an entire day) looking around. I don't think I have ever left the shop empty handed and there has been more than one occasion where I left without something (as I was on the fence) only to return a few days later to purchase said item. Many, many dealers spanning across two whole floors with a GREAT variety of items. An extensive array of items at all different price points so there is truly something for everyone. Be prepared to spend a decent amount of time at this location when you go. It is much more expansive than it appears to be front the outside and so much to look through! I usually do multiple laps around the store to make sure I see everything. read more

If you like antiquing or history or just looking through odd treasures and artwork this is a pretty amazing place. As I said this afternoon it's kind of like the Smithsonian, you could be there for 2 or 3 days and still not see everything. It's an enormous collection of antiques and many different types of items that you could label curiosities or collectibles. Do you collect brass padlocks? There's probably 50 or 100 of them here of all different shapes and sizes. How about what might be a Basquiat painting? Check. Dirty postcards from France in the 20s and 30s? Check. A ticket from game 6 of The 1975 World series? Check. Old radios, household items, salt shakers, costume jewelry, posters, autographed items, vinyl records, old magazines, pretty much anything you might be searching for a few collect it it's going to be here. In addition there's the "Odditorium" in the back where they keep the exceptionally creepy, scary or in some other way objectionable items. Want a shrunken head? You found the place. It would take hours and hours to get through everything. It's two floors, chuck full of stuff. Something for everyone. Unlike the Smithsonian, it all has a price tag and you can take it home if you want it. A very unique store and great way to spend some time while looking back at time as well. Had an absolutely fantastic first visit to Rhode Island Antique Mall. the outside appearance makes the business look small, but it's actually quite spacious on the inside. Each floor has multiple booths with various themes and types of furniture and decor. the top floor features larger furniture and art pieces. the bottom floor(I guess it would technically be the basement) is filled with smaller booths and more tchotchkes. If you decided to make a purchase ( which I'm sure you will) then checkout is on the top floor. checkout is a little disorganized during peak times so be patient and prepared for your turn. make sure all of your items have tags because each booth has a special code because each booth in the building is individually owned. Parking can be tricky during peak hours, but you can street park if needed. Cant wait to go back. I've already got my 4 eyes on 3 things I probably don't need but will buy anyways. read more

I'm not an antiques expert by any means but have been in many types of antique stores. This is one of the largest I've ever been to and the quality of the antiques from many different dealers is genuinely pretty good. Not a lot of "junk" here. I'd give this place 5 stars for the size and selection. If you're an impulsive buyer and find something "you've got to have" then you probably won't mind the prices, but to me- the pricing seemed high to this frugal Yankee. My son and I enjoy checking out antique shops when we travel. Rhode Island Antiques is a great place. The lay out is organized and they have an array of interesting items. Two levels to investigate, there was a 20% off sale the day we were there. I bought an interesting batch of sea shells to add to my collection. update. Scott, I was literally speaking to your wife on the phone when you wrote that nasty reply. She was a very nice woman whom we seem to have a lot of common opinions on customer service. Since you want to be mean, here are some facts. You were not there so you got a very twisted version of what happened. To imply I assaulted a middle age woman with dollar comic books is funny. She had the books behind the counter. Did I jump over the counter to take the books from her? That didn't happen. I did storm out but came back in 5 minutes later when I cooled off. I literally stood in line for 15ish minutes quietly while the manager waited on another customer. I had another appointment so I had to leave. on my way out the door I handed a card to the manager and asked him to call me. I'm not an out of control person. The lies your telling speak volumes for your character, or lack of it. I did have a stack of 20 comic books. Some of them were a dollar. The total sale might have been $25. They were under valued comics based on recent movies the values on them have gone up a lot. What you need to look at is Scott's relies to all the negative posts here on Yelp. Its all mean and the underlying problem is instead of taking constructive criticism Scott tries to put it on the customers. There are a lot of constructive criticism regarding all the Nazi displays. Rather than reading the politicial climate of the country and thinking it might be a good time to put his Nazi collection away, he instead boasts about it being ok to collect. I have pictures that I need to find of the KKK clothing that was for sale a few years ago in the basement. I WILL follow up with those pictures. Selling KKK and Nazi clothing and collectibles to remember history! There's your cancel culture. Rather than focus on customer service you blame a me and make up some lies. Best of luck. OK, OK, OK. I never thought I'd be an "antiquer," but I went in here and I suddenly was overwhelmed. There was so much going on. Lots of things all grouped into display cabinets and neat sections. An unbelievably eclectic range of things from a bygone era. That nostalgia inducing experience when you see something you recognize from your grandparents' basement when you were a kid? Yeah, I had that. I really love that no one here hoovers over you or throws any high-pressure pitches at you regarding how valuable things are. They just let you do your own thing. It's great. I purchased a bust of Mozart here and will be coming back for more unique décor when needed. Even if you aren't buying anything, it's great to browse around and get some inspiration. read more

Sorry not sorry. But this place is 3 things. 1. A lot of african artifacts are incorrectly labeled as ceremonial when they are clearly items used by slavers to keep slave in line. 2. Their non-existing customer service should go down as legendary as it make anyone wonder how are they still in business. You ask them for authentication papers and they respond with hostility. Why be an antique store if you cannot provide paperwork on the claims you are making? BUYER BEWARE. And 3. the day I went in there were a lot people in the store without a mask. This place for sure could be a super spreader of covid. I'd post pictures of the people without masks but not trying to dox anyone including employee. This store is a hot mess. I was there recently and purchased about 5 things. I paid cash and when I got home, I realized that I was charged sales tax on an oil painting. I remember seeing another review recently where a similar thing happened. There is a nice selection of items ranging from high-end antiques to vintage and collectibles. The staff was very friendly. EPIC selection of antiques! This place is just huge! There are two levels of antiques to browse. As a general rule, I'd say you will find higher quality, more expensive items on the ground level and the lower quality and priced items on the basement level. I have been beyond impressed with their selection of antique jewelry. There are so many cases and so many pieces, mostly up at the front of the store. Each area is leased by an individual seller and some sellers frequently have sales where they offer a discount on some or all of their merchandise. I purchased a beautiful sterling silver pendant over the summer here during one of these discounts sales. Large selection of various books towards the back of the first level. This is also the number one place to come if you're looking for small furniture such as chairs, end tables, coffee tables, small desks, mirrors, etc. They also have a wide selection of "Americana" items like banners, signs, Playboys, shot glasses, etc. You could easily spend hours in this place if you're super into antiques. Easy, free lot parking right out in the front and it's right off of 95. They accept cards. read more

I used to love this antiques mall, but today I had a super troubling experience that has left me feeling both angry and pained. Today, when I entered the store, I was confronted with a display case full of Nazi paraphernalia. I cringed and tried to shove down the nausea and pain I experience when I see this stuff. My grandparents are both Holocaust survivors; I won't go into their stories here, but suffice it to say that Nazi imagery and swastikas are DEEPLY disturbing to me. Anyway, I know that antiques malls sometimes have this stuff, so I made a mental note to talk to someone about this and kept shopping. At check-out, I said to the cashier: "I noticed that you have a display case full of Nazi stuff. I understand that you don't control what your merchants sell, but this is really upsetting to see. In other antiques malls, I've seen vendors put up a curtain with a written description of what is being sold. That way people can browse without having to see anything triggering." The woman behind the counter said: "Yeah, well, some Jews like to collect that stuff. It's like how some black people like to collect black Americana." Me: "I think there's a huge difference. It's more like a black person collecting KKK imagery. That kind of feels like a slap in the face." Her: "Well, the owners of that display case are Jewish." Me: "Then maybe they'll be sensitive to the experiences of other Jews who are disturbed by it." ... and that was it. I tried to be as kind about it as possible. I tried to provide suggestions for how they could continue to sell that stuff without forcing me (and others who are triggered by that imagery) to see it. I was shaking as I spoke, and I was treated with dismissiveness and scorn. Also, a note about Jews collecting Nazi paraphernalia: after WWII, there was a huge movement among Jews to collect as much Nazi gear as possible so that Nazi sympathizers couldn't get their hands on it. To this day, there is a strong belief among Jews who survived the Holocaust (and their descendants) that the only acceptable place for Nazi gear is in museums; the rest should be destroyed. I don't know who the owners of the display case are, but I hope they're donating the proceeds to an anti-hate group or something. read more

I've been antiquing for years and this place is by far the best in the area! It's got heat/AC (sounds weird to mention but you'd be surprised...), public restrooms (!!!) and so many different booths full of great stuff. Some dealers overprice but I never leave without something. Staff is friendly. Definitely make time to visit...you can't see it all in an hour! Plus it's open Mondays, one of my days off, which is a great option if you want smaller crowds. I hear they buy/consign as well, but I've never tried that. read more

Drove over to Pawtucket from Providence for a couple of hours to photograph the old train station and spotted the antique mall. Prices vary booth to booth but some are really great--especially with the discount tags. This place is humongous! I really enjoyed exploring each booth and saw some really fun items that made me nostalgic growing up in the 80's. read more
