He said I could "get by" for now with a new drain pan and resealing the ductwork for $2647. I called the outfit that replaced everything 10 years ago who said NO WAY the AC unit needs to be replaced. Their quote for a new pan, drain and resealing was $800. So far, the re-pipe is up to snuff. but I don't trust these guys. If you call them for any work, be sure to get a second opinion.
