The FlowRider is AWESOME!!! My wife and I made the trip up from Las Vegas for my birthday over the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend. We booked a surf lesson at 2PM, but due to some timing issues had to move it to 3PM which the team was more than helpful in accommodating. It's hard to believe it can be as cold as the high 20s outside and you're inside catching waves on the FlowRider. The pool area is well heated and the water was warm. There are plenty of grandstands for people to sit and spectate. They have lockers to hold / secure your stuff while you catch waves. They have bathrooms for changing, and showers to clean up after (the only thing I wish they had was more areas in the bathrooms to hang or set your stuff down while you shower or change. Even a small foldaway table would have been helpful). Our lesson was essentially a 60 minute private since my wife and I were the only two in the session. Our instructor John was super friendly, helpful, and informative. He gave us a quick overview and had us riding waves within the first few runs, and if you wiped out (which is pretty painless and fun) he'd have some pointers for you for your next run. We each would do 3-4 runs and then trade off and as long as we had the energy John was at the ready to help catch waves. This was a total five star experience, and I can't wait to do it again! It looks like they also have GA type session where you pay the hourly fee and it's open to the public for everyone to use in turn. However, I'd highly recommend a lesson if it's your first time out. You can also rent either half or whole of the FlowRider by the hour should you have a private event or just want to hone your skills. read more

Terrible experience at Provo Beach. My cousin ran into an exposed zip tie in the indoor playground and ended up covered in blood and needing an ER visit. Instead of helping or apologizing mid-crisis, a male employee knelt down and told her, "This is why we don't run," while she was crying and bleeding. Completely insensitive and unprofessional. If running isn't allowed, there should be signs or better supervision. An exposed zip tie in a kids' play area is absolutely unacceptable. Plus, what would you expect?? If it's a KID playground, there should be at least one employee or attendant nearby watching them if running wants to be avoided. read more

Provo Beach was a lot of fun. The flow rider which simulates a ocean wave is the cooled. Biggie boarding is sooo much fun. If you do the Day Pass it is a great value. Our family loved the laser tag which you get to do three times with that pass. Bowling and the ropes course was also a lot of fun. The mini croquet seemed run down and lame but part of that is probably due to the fact that we have no idea how to play croquet. Rules posted somewhere would've been helpful. All in all this is a really cool place to spend your time. read more

In 2024 I went on there ropes course, and slipped, a bolt was sticking out and sliced opened my leg to the bone. They didn't have proper first aid, and refused to help me off. I ended up having to get 34 stitches. To this day I have a huge scar on my leg. read more

Good family entertainment. We bowled, played croquet, and battled it out with some paired arcade games. We ended with some ice cream & Dole Whip from Ike's. The place is clean, there is an aerial rope course for little kids. It is located in a shopping center, & near an AMC Movie theatre. You could spend a few hours here to kill some time while visiting from out of town with your family. I was here with a 20+ kid and a 15 yr. old. We had a fun time. There is an indoor surf thing that you need a swimsuit for, and the kids trying it looked like they were having a blast, but it wasn't easy! Arcade: I was disappointed that 3 of the fun games we actually wanted to play (pump it up, connect four basketball and wheel of fortune) were down/even unplugged, and that Kung fu panda and piano keys had a few of the buttons broken so it was impossible to win. Normally arcade games are rigged, but this made it even worse! They also have a very limited number of games available. Miniature Croquet: All the wickets were basically broken. About 3 were missing, and 3 only had one side connected. Although the decor is nice, I was disappointed at the quality of the game. I would not pay $5/person to come play again! read more

Provo Beach is always a fun time. I always enjoy the croquet and love they they offer it! It's super unique. Their arcade is good and they have a lot of variety. It's usually pretty clean and well maintained. I will say that the service is okay. Definitely young high school students who don't really provide the best customer service as far as employees go. Not a good family place. I brought my two little ones here because it advertised a play area for toddlers. Wow, what a pathetic toddler area. It's like in this tucked away corner that they couldn't figure what else to do with, so they made it into this maze of dark tunnels. Parents can't enter, and when the kids go in they can't be seen anymore. And then there's no seating except for two little benches, so we had to sit on the floor. At one point a kid started crying inside the toddler maze of death and none of us parents knew what to do, so a younger dad climbed in and found the panicked kid. So basically, only bring your child here if you hate them or are trying to abandon them. read more

This is a great place with lots to do. It can get pretty expensive quick with a large family on your own but the birthday packages are at least decently priced for what you get. Not a fan of how arcades games have slowly moved to being more of a ticket based game of chance vs a skill based system. read more

I called them ahead of time to ask if they had any activities for toddler aged. They said that they have a little kids town. I'm excited to go see what that looks like! Las Vegas for kids is the first thing that came to my mind when I entered in that place. I was expecting one of those places where kids go and practice surf in closed space but with huge windows for everyone to see. However, once inside (you don't have to pay unless you consume activities and they have the price for the different types of activities you can do) it was surprising to me how many things you can do there. The walking in ropes was scary for me to watch (no matter if everything is supposed to be very safe). Then there is bowling, games, fast-food restaurants and meanwhile us the adults talking non stop and being annoyed by the many lights and noises. Not my kind of place but the kids in our group enjoyed and approved the Provo Beach experience. read more

Found the information at the ticket booth to extremely lacking. We expressed interest in the ropes course and bought tickets for it. Then as are at the ropes course we were informed that my kids are WAAAY too small for the ropes course. It would have been nice to have been told this when we purchased the tickets. So, instead we just just kind of wander around being unsatisfied and bored by the options for the kids. The play area was OK. Not very interactive for the parents. The arcade was OK but we weren't planning on testing to use up all our credits on the arcade. In conclusion, it would be nice if the people in the ticket booth could be more informed so they can assist customers like me more effectively. read more

Reminds me of Trafalga Orem right before it closed= Few staff, long lines, and most of the arcade games are broken or not even worth playing We felt like it was a decent price for an all day pass, but we were disappointed around every corner. 1) bowling- you better get there early or the wait gets ridiculous, and half the lanes were shut down or broken. 2) croquet- so weird compared to mini golf, and the walls and plaster are actively crumbling. 3) laser tag- crowded and short, but not sure what could be fixed about that 4) arcade- (here we go!) 4a: many games were weird and unusual (ie shuffleboard instead of air hockey, or ring toss instead of skiball) 4b: the network connection was spotty, so most games couldn't even be played (could not race my kids in cruisin because only one would take payment) 4c: not enough- the layout was too spread out and odd. If reorganized a bit, they could fit many more games and decently popular ones too It seems like a creative idea poorly executed. Don't come here their machines are useless my husband and I got over 300 tickets from one game and it stiffed us and we only got 150 tickets. Then when we payed the lady took over the payment and gave herself a tip. Fucking pathetic and unprofessional fix your machines and your employees!!!! read more

My family had so much fun but the staff weren't very helpful and rude. The kiosks were also broken and seem to never work. At 8:55 we wanted to talk to front desk about one of the games taking game tokens off our game card but that the game didn't work and the staff told us they were closed and there's nothing they could do about it. read more

Attended for a work event. The staff were friendly and helpful, which is always appreciated! I did have some issues, however, with some of the arcade games being broken down and not working properly. We played laser tag as well and had to switch guns out 3 different times because so many didn't work. I think it's a great venue but it definitely needs some updates and attention. read more

This place was better than we expected. It is maintained and clean. Lots of fun things to do, ropes course is fun and laser tag is better than most other places. Arena is nice with an upper area and the guns work well. However, many of the arcade games didn't work, it got very crowded, and they seemed very short staffed so we spent some time waiting for things (help with ticket redemption, harness and set up for ropes course, etc). Bowling is limited and there were lanes down as well. But we enjoyed our time there and would definitely go back! read more

We were looking for a place to hold my sons birthday party and found this place! Never been to before, but the pics alone won our business! I called in to book and Amy was amazing and helped me plan the best event for my boy. Got there and everything was ready to go. Lauren was our host and she did amazing. Kept the drinks refilled and the cups and utensils full as well. As for the actual place and attractions, all the kids and adults had a ton of fun. The flow rider was the star of the show! Arcade games were fun and inexpensive, laser tag was too much fun and the bowling and croquet were great ways to cool down and still have fun! Would definitely recommend! read more

The flowrider is super fun, but their scheduling system is absolutely awful. Be ready to show up and not surf. It's happened multiple times.

Staff needs training, and motivation. I called to confirm a couple of details and their teenager that answered the phone seemed put out that they were asked a couple of questions. When at Provo Beach, the employees were completely inattentive: zero guidance on the Flowrider, "don't bother me" attitude exhibited by staff, no toilet paper in the restroom, gross sticky wet mucky floors in the changing area. Especially concerning that the flowrider board had a busted rail and exposed sharp edge. I brought this to the attention of the "lifeguard" but he didn't want to know about it. Really? I realize they are paid minimum wage, but even that seems too much in consideration of the "staff's" lazy and entitled attitudes. read more

We've been looking for a place to take our son (18 mos) that won't break the bank. Provo Beach for the bill for the most part. The attractions are geared to the 4-18 year old set. With bowling, laser tag and flowrider, there is enough to fill the day. The ropes course looks like it would fun. Toddler town left a little to be desired but was free so we couldn't complain too much. The $1.50 carrousel was the highlight of the day for our son. Ike's creamery is yummy with ice cream and Dole whip. Seven Brothers burgers is also attached for all your food needs. My husband and I are children at heart and Provo beach helped us to be those kids again! They have arcade games and a super fun ropes course (as well as other fun things to do)! I was a little nervous about the height at first but the harness that they use is super strong and it helped me feel so much safer! The whole place is fun and energetic that you just feel care free! First I'll say yes, I know Provo Beach Resort is mostly geared toward kids and teenagers. On the other hand, the prices seem to be geared to the parents that will be paying for the games because I find it hard to believe that any kid would have enough money for more than 5 games before running out of money. Yes, it's fun and clean, but the price is ridiculous so I pretty much only go there when my nieces or nephews are in town visiting and are dying to go. 5/10 will go back again--not by choice. read more

The games are way more expensive then a normal place and i swear the bowling lanes aren't the same size as normal ones. We have only been once and I plan on diving in on another visit and getting a very full review. We went bowling and loved it. The system was pretty standard bowling-wise but the people were helpful and friendly making my 3 year old's first bowling experience a memorable one. This venue has arcades, a ropes course, mini-croquet, golf simulators, a flow rider surf area and even a pinewood derby track and cars. This really is an exciting new place for indoor activities and I look forward to trying out a lot more of what they have to offer. read more

It's fun! It's expensive, and if you're not getting the day pass, you end up spending a lot more money on all the stuff you'd eventually want to try. It's kind of run by teenagers, and that comes with everything you think it comes with. Inattentive, quick to miss cues, slow to make things run well, but all things considered, they do a good job. The workers here are useless, lazy, and don't care to help customers. Every person we asked for help didn't know anything or care to help solve our problems. The employee doing flowrider sat there picking her nails the entire time and allowed a child to jump in and slide down the wave multiple times while others were trying to surf and never said a thing. This may be a great place for family to have fun, but it's way over priced. All the arcade games are over priced compared to other arcades or family fun centers and they do not provide variety of games like a "resort" they call themselves should. Downstairs comprise of flow rider ($20/hr), arcade games, and some concession. I am willing to pay the high prices if everything is in working order and functioning properly but lately their maintenance is lacking and a lot of things don't function properly. I really liked this place. Brought my kids (21,19, & 7) and we all loved it. Bought the day passes and enjoyed all that we could. Youngest was too short for rope course). Big hits were the Laser Tag and Bowling. Really had a great time with the Laser Tag! Look to add the Flow Rider next time. Only downside was that they have a lot of private groups that will rent out the place. Came one night and it was closed to the public and another time the Flow Rider was rented out all night. I'd suggest calling before you go so you can make sure that everything you want to do is available. read more

We've been here a few times before and had a good time. This time we bought 4 all day passes which included an hour on the SurfRider. After driving an hour and spending the day at the facility we decided to get in on the next surf session. Only to find out it was reserved for the rest of the evening. There was never any warning from the time we got there to the time we were ready to surf that this HUGE detail was excluded due to reservations. There has to be some way to block out times and let your customers know they have wasted 50% of their pass. We won't be back. read more

This place was so fun! My husband and I came here to celebrate our anniversary. We got a $50 card (which gets you an extra $5) and ended up not using all of it. We played a lot of arcade games and a round of laser tag. We also got a Dole Whip Float. There was a good variety of arcade games. Skeet ball, throwing/basketball games, racing, touch screen, dancing, air hockey, shooting, and games of chance. The ticket pay outs depended on the game. It was really nice to have the card which kept track of your balance (instead of lugging tokens) and your tickets (instead of keeping track of paper tickets). We ended up not turning our tickets in, but they did have a variety of prizes to choose from (which we will totally get next time we go and finish the balance on the card). We had to wait through 2 rounds of laser tag, but it was so worth it. (The laser tag attendant seemed to hate his job, though...) The laser tag has 2 levels with a lot of walls to hide behind. It's a 12 minute round which felt like a good amount of time. The Dole Whip Float was pretty tasty. Might try a waffle come next time because those smelled amazing. They have an indoor surfing pool which is open year-round. They also have bowling and croquet and a rope obstacle course upstairs. We had a really fun time and would definitely consider celebrating a special occasion here again. read more
