Lots of choices of children's books!

This is a great library with so many great book choices! There's so many things for children to do. There are at least two levels. There's a basement to walk into the top floor. I also LOVE the amazing app and website they have. It makes it so much easier to check out books. It feels seamless. The only thing that I really don't like about this library is that there are a lot of homeless people. And it's in an area that is really old and run down. There are too many good things to say about the programs they have to put my review anything lower than 5. The librarians here are all so helpful and kind!

I have been VERY impressed by this library, especially in how they handled the COVID closures and precautions. I love reading, and this is the perfect place to get any book I'd like with quick and easy service!! There are a variety of genres of books filling the shelves, in both the adult and children's sections! As an elementary school teacher, I appreciate the website that allows me quick access to see what's in, place holds, and come in and grab it right after work! There are also some great study spots, with comfy chairs and a quiet atmosphere. I would recommend this to any college kids who are tired of the walk home from campus and would much rather study right near their apartment! And did I mention this all takes place in a stunning old building? The lawn or front stairs are a great place to hang out with friends for a picnic or ice cream from William's Dairy Bar. The upper floors on the west side of the building hold ballrooms and staircases great for photos, bridal showers, and proms! It is simply gorgeous, as well.

Young adult/elementary level author Lindsey Leavitt. Can't wait to read her books!

Gorgeous building! I've only been here twice--for a wedding reception and for an author lecture/book signing event. Parking is good. There weren't floor or room number signs inside the center south entrance; the elevator only went down, so I wandered around for awhile. An employee retuned my phone call about the book event. There were several classrooms, study rooms, art galleries, and even a ballroom and kitchen. I love the woodwork, tile and staircases. The outside is beautifully architecturally. Classy.

The cool clipboard, a clue and the placecard in one of the locations during a Who Dunit game.

On July 10th I went with my sister and niece to the Provo Library to play a game of Who Dunit.

I love the display of the new adult books as well. It's easy to locate books with the author last name and I love that they put a sticker with what type of book it is as well. They have a pretty good collection of new movies and If you sign up for emails, they will email you when they have new movies to rent. Every time we come into this little gem, the staff is always so friendly and helpful. They are operating limited hours right now due to COVID19, but they make sure their limited hours are posted on their website's front page. When you do return movies and books, the only way their taking it back is the drop box behind the library. They are not taking any returns inside. In addition, they are not taking any cash for payment for any late fees at this time due to the pandemic. What I also love about this library is sometimes they have donated bread at the entrance, free to anyone who might need it. At this time I don't think anyone is allowed to sit and stay (and play) inside, so they labeled their hours as "Grab & Go" while they are open. I have looked into their digital selection, and it would be nice if they can expand it. I've put in a few requests for movies that they do not have, but have not received any response as to them making any effort of carrying it. Room for growth!

BYU will always have a piece of my heart…read more There's just something about this place--clean, peaceful, and buzzing with a kind of quiet ambition. Walking across campus, with the mountains towering in the background and the smell of freshly cut grass or melting snow depending on the season, it's like you're in a living postcard. The professors here actually care. You're not just a name on a roster--you're someone they expect great things from. And say what you will about the Honor Code, but there's a kind of clarity and focus that comes from being surrounded by people who are trying to live their values. Also, shout-out to the Harold B. Lee library. That thing is a fortress of productivity. I've never been more academically dialed-in than I was on the 5th floor during finals week with a Cookies N Cream chocolate milk from the Creamery in one hand and a stack of flashcards in the other. And then there's the people. You come for the degree, but stay for the lifelong friends, hallway chats, devotional takeaways, and yes--those divine CougarTails on game day. BYU shaped me. Spiritually, intellectually, even socially. Couldn't recommend it more.

BYU won't get a cent of my money, because of how terrible the campus security treated me. They don't believe in God, just looking like they do and acting high and mighty while they take your money. "Y" would I go to your school? when I can't even lay down after a long walk on a hot day? WWJD?
