The selection of books here is wonderful! They have a lot to offer and are always updating the collection. Not only do they offer books of all kinds but the Orem library also has lots of extra collections including board games (free to borrow!), video games, movies, and an impressive "makers space" in the basement. We love the community events and children's activities that they offer. This will always be a favorite place of mine!

There's a quiet reverence in this place that makes it perfect for just sitting and reading--or even pretending to read while you enjoy the stillness. They've also got a little used book section where you can buy books for super cheap, which I appreciate since I can't exactly get a library card here. And their digital collection through Libby is part of the Beehive Consortium, which seems to have way more audiobook and eBook options than my own Sacramento County Library back home. Major bonus.

They have a pretty good collection of new movies and If you sign up for emails, they will email you when they have new movies to rent. Every time we come into this little gem, the staff is always so friendly and helpful. They are operating limited hours right now due to COVID19, but they make sure their limited hours are posted on their website's front page. When you do return movies and books, the only way their taking it back is the drop box behind the library. They are not taking any returns inside. In addition, they are not taking any cash for payment for any late fees at this time due to the pandemic. What I also love about this library is sometimes they have donated bread at the entrance, free to anyone who might need it. At this time I don't think anyone is allowed to sit and stay (and play) inside, so they labeled their hours as "Grab & Go" while they are open. I have looked into their digital selection, and it would be nice if they can expand it. I've put in a few requests for movies that they do not have, but have not received any response as to them making any effort of carrying it. Room for growth!

The first time I visited I chose a passage from one of their Bibles that you can have framed on the spot; I also met Mr. Moon! I cherish this Bible page, and have it mounted in my office. If you're looking to buy reprints of your favorite books or looking to read something new, they have them available at reasonable prices. The response from the administration, such as city police and campus security, felt overly excessive and dismissive of student concerns. They used excessive force on me and took my property away without a warrant. I exercised my rights. President Astrid Tuminez appears disconnected from the student body and has demonstrated some genuine care, but not really that much. The university should take accountability for how it treats students and ensure that everyone's constitutional rights are respected on campus. Don't waste your money by going here. I feel ashamed for every recommending this school to anyone. It's a scam because it's not a fun experience to go here, unless you want a police and corrupt politician nanny school and want to waste your time and money. There's many other low cost options out there. Please, learn from my mistake!!!!! Especially if you're a straight person and not LGBTQ. They will discriminate against your size and gender and call security on you and discrimante against your race.

On the website when I signed up they specifically stated, "make sure your gymnast can practice for 3 hours!!" Out of the three hours my gymnast danced and jumped for 1 hour and 15 minutes, practiced for an hour, spent 30 minutes of warm up, (she practically was just sitting), then played a game and ate popsicles outside. I'm simply disappointed because the waste of money and effort I spent to get her into this camp was thrown away because of the lack of effort. This is a great camp for 6-8 year olds.
