We found Chris Prussak after searching on the internet for attorneys with experience representing student athletes fighting CIF ineligibility desgination. Due to the short time frame to submit a formal CIF appeal, it was important that our attorney acted expeditiously. Chris and his team responded quickly and assisted us in compiling and submitting a robust appeal package. Along the way, his wife Dawne provided me and my husband with timely updates, as well as logistical and emotional support. We felt taken care of during the entire appeal process. Chris also primed us for the hearing the day prior and facilitated the presentation of our case during the hearing. Shortly thereonafter, we did get the ineligibility overturned and my son was able to resume playing his sport for his high school team without issue. Even after the case was closed, Chris kept in touch with us and checked in on my son's progress on his team. Because of his advice I was able to research more student-debt and companies that gave misleading information like, school closure; and loan companies that preformed predatory interest practices. I was able to request borrower-defense on my government owned loans, and was granted a full discharge. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH ANYTHING!!!! Super unorganized. I have to call 20 plus times over the course of several days to even get a response on my workers comp case. And they only respond cuz I've been bothering them and they have nothing important to tell me. Each time it's the same shit. Nonsense. And when you do finally get a hold of them they don't even know anything about what's going on with your case. They're asking me information about what they already told me. It's like what!!?! This is the WORST experience with a lawyer I have ever had! All the "assistants" have attitude. They provide NO services to help you with your workman's compensation, but they are quick to file with the court on your behalf and not tell you. Their receptionist are horrible, hard to understand, and will not give you a name. They have magically lost all our personal information. I would rather have the devil as our lawyer, least he would hold up his end of the bargain and do his job! read more
