A recent storm knocked over the top half of a very tall hackberry tree on the fence line of my property on Lake Austin. The situation needed to be dealt with ASAP. I called PRV, who had done some major tree work for me a couple of years earlier. I was pleased to find that they would be able to send a crew out to sever the broken limbs in the following days. First, tho, they sent out an appraiser. We talked over the phone because I live toward Waco. Using his phone to take pictures to show me all of the variables involving my many trees, we decided not only to have him take out the entire tree, including grinding away the roots but also to trim the other trees on my fence line, raise some canopies, and tidy up my decorative palms. As they had done years before, they were prompt and pleasant, very professional, quick about getting the job done, and cleaned up the whole area, hauling away two trailer loads of tree branches and debris. I made the drive down to Austin on the day scheduled for the work. By the time I got there, they had already finished the work and the property cleaning and were ready for me to just do a walk-through to give my approval. Again, I was pleasantly surprised because I didn't need to remind them of any of the many facets of work that we had agreed on over the phone. It was alllllll done to my satisfaction. I will recommend PRV to friends and neighbors. These guys were great, they were on time, came well equipped and very energetic for the 35' tree removal. These guys took down my 35' tree with precision and respect for my neighbors property as well. They did a great job. They did a great job with clean up as well. I was impressed with their safety precautions as well, the guy climbing in the tree was properly equipped to secure himself while cutting the upper branches. As a side note: I realize these guys are hard workers and spend most of their time communicating in their native language but, it was hard communicating a couple of issues with them (it got resolved) but, it was a little frustrating not just for them but for myself as well. I was so impressed with the great job that they did for my neighbor that I contacted them to evaluate my trees on a 1.2 acre lot. Rosa from PRV Tree Service came out and gave me an estimate for tree trimming and removal, as well as stump grinding. When another tree service company gave me a lower estimate for the work, Rosa was able to match the other company's price. The PRV workers arrived at the scheduled time and got right to work. We highly recommend PRV Tree service! We had scheduled them to remove three extremely large, dying trees that lined our fence before the winter storm hit. Due to ice that day, they rescheduled and even though they are super busy now, they kept our rescheduled appointment. They had four skilled workers (wearing masks) who took down all three trees in about half an hour. It was amazing! They were safe, the fence is still standing, and they hauled off everything. I was also impressed with their cleanup afterward. They raked the sawdust and smoothed out the dirt. They swept up the smaller limbs by the shredder/truck, and blew the sawdust off of the sidewalk. No Soliciting signs means NO SOLICITING!!! Also, your people need to stay out of homeowners yards when going house to house. Quit cutting across everybody's yards! Show respect for other people's property! At 8:30 this morning, a high school or older female walked within 2 feet away of my kitchen window in my yard on my corner lot. What the hell is she doing in my yard? Burglar? Package thief? Obviously, homeowners consider this trespassing. Good way to have a dog cut loose on you or worse. Use the streets and sidewalks. That's what they are there for. Anybody with any common sense and respect for other peoples property knows that! And when signs are posted, go away! read more

We've used the PRV Tree Service to cut, trim, and prune multiple trees on our property two times now. Both times they've trimmed exactly what we wanted trimmed and made our trees much more presentable. They also have great follow-up for any requests we had during the walk through. I was most impressed with the size of the limbs that were removed from overhanging our roof without doing any damage to the roof. I don't know how they do it, but trust that they can handle even difficult tasks like that. Even if you only need a bit of pruning, these crews do a great job of that too. No matter what I saw it will not be enough. Pedro came out and gave me an estimate and time and date for the work to be done. The crew came out and were on time and very polite. The work they did was great the only thing I wish was that I had taken photos before they started. My front trees look great. We have a lot of big Elm trees and some Live Oaks that need removal of dead limbs and ball moss. PRV did a fantastic job and very professional. They raised the tree canopy beautifully, and sunlight came to the yard more as we expected. They cleaned everything up and no mess left behind. The work was completed as Pedro promised. I had a small Elm tree in front of my house that had died. I responded to an advertisement for PRV, which was placed on the front door of my house. Y'all, we have an amazon of a front yard. It's beautiful but so hard to keep up with. The last couple years we haven't been able to put the time and effort into keeping it looking clean.
