Let me start by saying we have been regular customers for sometime and are usually very happy however, it really seems both the service and products have consistently gotten worse each time. This time I ordered a pizza for a tryout. I got there right at the time it was scheduled to be done. The pizza was so overdone and dry it was almost not edible. The crust was hard as a rock and so over cooked it tasted like biting into a rock hard cigarette. The cheese and toppings were extremely dried out. We couldn't stand to eat it except maybe the first bite or so of each piece that was in the middle. This pizza is not cheap and I would expect a better product for this price point. I am actually shocked they allowed this pizza to be served at this restaurant. This is a super cute place but I don't think I will be spending money here anymore or recommending it to others. read more

I am so happy Norman is getting new things! Went here not long after it opened for lunch. I loved the laid back environment even though it is a sit down restaurant and the openness of the kitchen. I ordered the Augustus salad and the Ohana pizza. The salad honestly wasn't my favorite; my friend loved it but I personally wasn't a huge fan of the taste. I am definitely all for putting pineapple (YES, I'm one of those) on pizza so I was very happy with my pick. Getting a salad and a pizza was a little pricey for one person but if I were to share with someone then it wouldn't be so bad! Recommend giving this place a try! read more

The food tasted good, but the overall experience was bad. Instead of ordering at the table, you have to wait in a long line at the door and the menus are up at the front register; so you spend all that time in line unable to figure out what you want. There is a menu on the wall, but you can only see it when you are in that specific spot in line. We had a large group that couldn't fit in the line, so we had to send everyone to a table and have them text their order to the person in line. We had to pull the menu up on our phones and it was really hard to read. You also can't see what drinks they have to choose from until you get to the register so everyone in our group had to have water because we couldn't get them all close enough to get drink orders in quickly. They did not plan well for a crowd that looked like what I would expect on a Friday night. It took over an hour for us to get our pizza because the "oven was busy" even though there were several empty tables. That was after spending 30 minutes in line to order. Also, the place was too loud for us to hear the person sitting across the table. The place looks cool, but it might help to put some sound panels around or pad the booths or something. I think it will be great when they work out the kinks, but I'm going to give it a while before we come back. The other thing that bothered me happens at a lot of places - I can't stand being asked to tip before I have even sat down. A tip amount is supposed to be based on the quality of food and service. I don't know what that will be like before I even sit down. I definitely do not think my experience here warranted the 22% tip that was the default lowest setting at the register. read more

walked in at around 8pm and was instantly greeted by a kind hostess who led us right to our table! The restaurant was pretty busy but we still got a spot. Upon sitting down our waitress, Sydney, came right over and asked us what we wanted to drink. The menu has plenty of options and it was hard to choose. I ordered two pizzas and they tasted great, my only complaint is that the crust was floppy so I didn't hold up the toppings. Was great until they decided to change the menu. I ordered chicken wings to go and got home and the sauce that makes the wings just phenomenal wasn't there called and now you have to ask for sauce with chicken wings!!! Who does that!! Got the Mac and cheese that was supposed to have bread crumbs it had croutons gross. I also asked for extra white sauce and my Mac and cheese was dry yuck!! Before this change I would have recommended this place to everyone now with these. Changes not only will I NOT be back I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. This just makes me sad sad sad. Tried this place after they had first opened so there were some kinks to work out, especially in the cocktail department. I ordered a margarita, they then came back and said it was accidentally made with vodka rather than tequila and they took it away. But, I think that stuff will improve with time. My main focus was the pizza! This stuff is so amazing and not something you can get here in Norman, OK prior to this restaurant opening. I tried the cheeseburger pizza, it's topped with pickles and it might be my favorite pizza, ever! So good. Their ranch is also delicious. I can't remember our servers name, but he was a really sweet kid. Towards the end of our dinner he accidentally spilled just a few drops of ranch on the ladies sitting next to us after he dropped the ranch container, they freaked out and were super rude! There's a new pizza kitchen in Norman and it is known for their coal fired pizza. I went in on a Friday night and it was extremely busy and we ended up sitting in a little booth. We ordered drinks and I got the strawberry basil margarita. Typically margaritas are served in a tall glass and I ended up getting a small, cocktail glass sized drink. The margarita was very strong and you couldn't tell there was strawberry or basil unless you looked at your drink and saw the leaves and purée. It just wasn't made that well. Then I ordered the Pryors pizza because if it's the name of the place, it should be good. When it came out there was a puddle of grease on the tray from the pizza as soon as I took a slice to put onto my plate. Then I gave it a try and took a bite, it was extremely salty. I don't know if it's the meat or the sauce, but regardless it was beyond salty. The crust was the only thing I sincerely enjoyed. The price is expensive overall for a pizza place. read more

Pryor's Pizza Kitchen is my new favorite restaurant, not just in Downtown Norman, but of all OKC metro area! If you want a hip, fun, atmosphere with an innovative menu including truly unique pizza recipes, starters, and desserts, you have got to try this place! My personal favorites are the Formaggio Fuso skillet with breadsticks for some cheesy goodness, the coal fire charred chicken wings with the most amazing pesto ranch you've ever had, the Caesar salad which is named Augustus (add shaved chicken for a meal in itself)- also the lemon pepper salad was amazing!!, and as a cheese lover, I adore the Quattro Formaggio pie! The little puffs of ricotta on top just make me happy! This is not your typical Oklahoma pizza place so come expecting something completely new...which we've needed for a long time. Everything is cooked in an "Anthracite" coal-fired oven which the menu explains is free of smoke and emissions- not the same you use for your backyard BBQ. Not only that but I love that it said part of the proceeds go towards reclaiming abandon mines and reclaiming the surrounding ecosystem. I've read some people don't like the noise level but as a mom of Little's, I could not have felt more at ease especially as my youngest sat happily playing with a fresh dough ball provided with his kids meal. The front of the house is a full bar with an extensive list of specialty drinks and old faithfuls- my personal favorite is the Peroni on tap which goes perfectly with just about anything on the menu! Can't wait to go back again and again! Especially on game days this Fall! read more

I stopped in to check this place out before they had formally opened. It looked promising and what city can't use a great pizza place? Last night we finally had a chance to dine there. The ambience is nice but I was not impressed with their pizza. We have had charcoal oven pizza ( at a place called CHRISTINOS in Clearwater, Fla.) and while service was good, and the salad was fresh and delicious, I was disappointed with the actual pizza. The crust was tough and from the looks of others being served, it was close to burned . The toppings were spare, which can be a plus, but not in this case. I had the OHANA. Red sauce was not particularly flavorful and they used canned pineapple. Probably about 6 small pieces and the Canadian bacon was sparse. No onion, or Italian spices to give it any flavor . My husband had a sausage pizza. He said it was just ok. Crust again, was over done and tough and sauce didn't have much flavor. We ordered dessert, and it was supposed to be a version of Bananas Foster. Pound cake slices at either end we're burned, ice cream was melted into a puddle by the time it was served and whatever it had been, it was just a puddle when we got it. They serve one size only for pizza and while you can " build your own", there is no list of ingredients. I hope there are changes because their pizza isn't great. read more

This place is a great addition to Main Street! Popped in on opening weekend and found some good local beer options, unique cocktails and delicious pizza. We had the breadsticks and dipping sauce and the ranch hand pizza, which was excellent. That hot sauce provided a nice bite that enhanced but didn't overpower the pizza. I went here when Pryor's first opened, and loved their atmosphere! They have a few intimate booths, and then larger tables as well. I also like how you can see the cooks making the pizza right there. We had the Gerardo frijto as an appetizer, which are fried and battered assorted vegetables. I can't say I've ever had that dish before, and it was delicious! The Pryor's pizza is my favorite that I've tried on their menu (I sub chicken instead of the pepperoni) because I love the taste of the gastrique sauce on the crust. They had cookie bombs on the menu previously, which melt in your mouth. I haven't tried their updated dessert menu yet, but I am sure that it won't disappoint! read more

Do you like your take out cold? I arrived 5 minutes before my estimated time to a bartender, hostess, and wait person all looking like deer in headlights. Granted the hostess was on the phone and unable to greet or help me, but he other two basically ignored my presence. When the wait person finally asked if I had been helped, he located my pizza on a shelf in the hostess stand. The box wasn't even above room temperature. Got my pizza home to find it cold. Only reason I managed two stars was because the crust on this pizza was amazing. However, not sure I'll return. read more

Went here tonight for dinner. The atmosphere is absolutely amazing. The service was wonderful and the food was delicious. A few five star options; garlic knots wingsall meat and a custom built supreme pizzas the crust is crispy and the perfect thickness. Not too much sauce. I was a bit upset they didn't have fountain sodas. honestly it makes sense though and it made me watch what I drank which should be what I do anyways ‍. Overall, this place is easily a new favorite. The architecture and decor alone are beautiful. They have TVs around showcasing the plans for expansion and I'm so excited to watch it come to life. Can't wait to go back! read more
