I've given Rally Kitchen many chances to get things ironed out. What's wild is the 1st time I visited, the food was delicious, the services was great and the ambiance was on point. Every other time we have visited has been less than stellar. The last time was terrible. The short ribs were awful (how is that even possible?!), our drinks stayed empty during our meal, and the wait staff barely visited our table. It really is a shame because I wanted this place to be great. We have hosted a couple of events here and those actually went well - but they were catered by a different food company within the hotel. So positive points for event services at Rally. I hope they can turn the restaurant itself around because I've heard others describing very similar experiences to ours. read more

I've dined at the Rally Kitchen for breakfast my last couple of stays at the NOUN hotel. It's never hard to get a table in the morning as most patrons are also guests of the hotel in my limited experience. The restaurant has a clean, beautiful design with tons of natural light provided by the abundance of floor to ceiling windows. My go to entree is the build your own omelette with breakfast potatoes and fresh orange juice. The omelette is cooked well and the potatoes have the perfect crisp every time. On a future visit I plan to try one of the more decadent menu items for breakfast to satisfy my sweet tooth. I look forward to eating here on all my stays. read more

Our party of 5 came here for a New Year's Eve Dinner. We had reservations at 830 and were seated immediately. Unfortunately the service was slow we waited about 15-20 minutes just for our drink order even though the restaurant wasn't packed. After ordering our appetizers sat in the window for about 20-30 minutes until another server brought them over. Our mains arrived immediately after which made us feel rushed. I ate here with wife and friends 12/31/2025. The venue is well appointed, well designed, clean and attractive. I ordered dinner off the ala Carte menu;. Tomato basil bisque and chicken fried chicken entree'. I was very dissatisfied with the service, and the entree'. Menu item description of the soup advertised as included, garlic toast. My order was served without the toast. I immediately brought that to the attention of the server. 15 minutes later a plate of 4 pieces of garlic buttered toast was delivered. The soup was delicious. The toast was cold. My plate of chicken fried chicken was presented with fried Okrah sandwiched and soggy on top of mashed potatoes covered by a dry and stiff deep fried chicken breast then topped with cold splash of milk/flour gravy. I love the food at Rally, but the service is extremely slow, even when your server only has 1-2 tables. Our server walked past our table multiple times while avoiding eye contact, and it takes a minimum of 30 minutes for drinks to arrive. read more

Our server Brie was absolutely amazing and she took great care of us. The French Onion Soup & Shrimp cocktail was delicious. The brisket was OK but the scallops potatoes were awful. The cream corn was good and our son's chicken sandwich was awesome. read more

In town for work over the Holiday weekend for the OU v LSU football game. We were extremely disappointed with our Thanksgiving experience! Called ahead of making a rez as several of our party had food limitations and were told could order off the regular menu or opt for the full Thanksgiving meal. Sadly, once there were told not the case. In short three of our group had challenges and two of the three did not eat. The waitress did ask management to allow some changes to a meal so our third guest could order. Unfortunately with all that said the meal was less than average, a constitutional plate with an ice cream scoop of potatoes ad stuffing lacking flavor, slab of standard ham and bits of turkey, about a tablespoon of green beans all served marginally warm. Had to request gravy and cranberries then were hurried thru our meal. Highlight was the shrimp cocktail and apple cobbler ala mode w/o the ala mode as there seemed to be a disconnect with the kitchen and ice cream not ordered. At the price point of $49.00 + was ultimately dissatisfied with our experience. read more

We went for Christmas Eve and it was decorated beautifully. The menu had some good food choices. I had the ribeye and it was tender. It had a mushroom sauce. It came with scalloped potatoes and asparagus. It was a decent meal but nothing special. The food temperature was barely warm. The service was ok but not great and there were not many people there so not sure how it would be if it was busy. I had high hopes for this place because we go to church south of Norman and was hoping this would be a new spot to go. But not sure I would go again. read more

We stayed at the Noun Hotel and had dinner and lunch at the Rally, and will definitely be back! We got the salmon, burger and cheese board, as well as a sparkling wine and breakfast the next morning. I was looking for a nice, fine dining style place to take my wife out to dinner for her birthday... *on Christmas eve*! It was an 11th-hour decision so it had to be good, there had to be a reservation, and the timing and location (within 15 minutes of "Mooreman" (Moore-Norman borderlands in Oklahoma) had to be right to make it work. I found all that and plenty more in "The Noun Hotel" and its restaurant, "The Rally Kitchen + Bar". I had the impression that it might be somewhat upper-crust and that impression was spot-on. We arrived at the appointed time and were immediately seated and served impeccably by Brook, who should teach classes in how to be the best hostess in the world. The entire wait staff were on-point with friendly service. The decor, the facility, the demeanor of the staff; all of it was all one would expect from anyplace in the most well-to-do areas of OKC (or Dallas, or Houston or Kansas City), and then some...but Way Closer To Home. My wife had the Short Rib Pappardelle Pasta, and it was delectable... she informed me... there was none left of it for me to taste. Likewise devoured and decimated was the dish I chose, the Seared Salmon Filet, which came on a bed of quinoa, and accompanied by Broccolini spears. The sauce spread artistically around the plate was a sweet-hot combination that delighted the palate and added nicely to the mix. Did I mention that the staff were just the best?! They are. The Noun Hotel is a half-dozen blocks south of Main Street on University Boulevard, really close to the University of Oklahoma campus. Incredibly poorly managed! When we went to be seated the hostess told us the wait was as long as an hour and a half, and when we checked open table they had reservations open for within the next 15 minutes. after making that reservation we waited at the hostess stand for 30 minutes and no one would come to seat us. After accumulating a line we asked to speak to a manager and were informed that there wasn't even a manager on site. So disappointing! read more
