I used the firm for 2022, and 2023 tax returns. In 2022 tax, Sonny didn't treat my wife's 401k contribution as tax deducible, caused we paid $20000 more taxes (Fed, and State). In 2023 tax, he failed to put my wife's group prepaid state tax as credit, we paid $91000 more tax. I found the problems, informed him, asked him to do amend tax returns, he refused to do so. I needed some very basic questions answered about my personal taxes this year due to a complication with moving and filing in Maryland. No explanation, and the tone and manner of the conversation was like I was a waste of his time. It ended up filing through Turbo Tax and the whole experience was far superior. Went to Sonny last year for tax advice and I was impressed with his dedication to his clients. Came back this year for 2022 taxes and it was a different experience. Sonny asked us if we wanted the Federal tax to be taken our of a refund from the state. We said yes. Sonny asked for our checking account number to deposit the refund. At no point did he say $ money was going to be deducted from our account immediately. Check bounced. Charged a fee. Sonny refused to accept responsibility and said it was our fault. He never went over any of the details of the taxes like they did at H and R block. Charged almost double the cost of H and R block for bad advice and service. read more

Sonny is super responsive on every channel (Yelp, email, phone) and he shot me a message back within minutes.
