Please beware of this company. I had the displeasure of working for this company for a little over…read morea year. I worked remotely during COVID-19. Online classes were implemented to "help" with client goals. Unfortunately, classes were unorganized and had no credible knowledge behind them . The company says it is "person centered" and that it gives client choices but it does not. Clients are manipulated into attending and participating in classes and activities that they do not want to. The turn over rate here is RIDICULOUS. I truly believe that the handful of people who have stayed are only there because of "job security " and nothing more. Management is Trash. While employees are struggling to make do, management is paid quite nicely to do hardly any work. If you enjoy nepotism , favoritism and being overworked for little pay then by all means apply. Just know that you are expected to use your own car and pray to God it never breaks down because they will hassle you. Due to my son being sick and needing around the clock support , I had to quit, HR approved my unemployment and agreed that this was a valid reason to leave since they refused to offer me any type of options. In fact the only option I had was to work in person and nothing more. A few months after my departure, I was sent notice that the owner appealed my unemployment stating that I never "explored other work options" . Months later EDD sided with me and they STILL tried numerous times to appeal it. So far with no luck. I had nothing with bad experiences with this company and constantly had anxiety because of their intense work load and finger pointing when things went array. If things didn't already sound bad, I referred by boyfriend to apply. He was hired . He is a Navy veteran. This was common knowledge as he sported many Navy patches. Anytime he had an issue and communicated with the company he was told that he was being "aggressive" and that it was probably cause of his veteran status. Management treated him awful and fired him without any proper investigation. They used the typical veteran stereotype and said he was hostile and aggressive. There are currently several lawsuits against this company for the treatment of their employees. The only pro to working here is that the clients are amazing. Please beware of this company and do not be fooled by their staged photo opportunities.

The clients that are involved in the program are amazing and I enjoyed being a job coach for each and every one of them. Still see them out in the community and talk to them. Management however is in shambles. Lack of communication and guidance. I was fired for speaking up for the clients and advocating for them. Management was forcing them to go to the gym after clients expressed multiple times they didn't enjoy it. Instead of looking for different alternatives I was told that I was paid to do my job not think for the clients and to take them to the gym anyways and sit there and work on paper worksheets instead. They pretend to care and say they are person centered but they're not. This company is strictly in it for the money and you can see by their high employee turnover rate, that morale is low. I am a war veteran and they stereotyped me in inappropriate ways and said that I was violent or rash but in reality that was never the case. Both managers for the CIE program as well as the normal day program don't communicate and they use staged photos as a front when really they're keeping slots filled for financing purposes. CIE is meant to help find employment for individuals and they say they have a process for them to go through and that they don't just allow anyone into their special work program but towards the end they were just taking anyone into the program so it looked legit on paper. Clients are forced to attend online zoom classes and work on paper packets out in the community and that is what the community portion is for. I would do your research before sending your family members here. I know for a fact that I would never send my son here or recommend this day program to anyone in the Fresno county.
