There are a couple of great things I would like to highlight. 1. They learn things in themes which is so cool. He came home this week and was telling me about camping and the stuff we would need. We have never been camping but he comes home with new information. 2. He didn't have to be potty trained. They helped us and we tried at home. Personally I think he took longer because his little brother was born when he was 2 1/2 so it was a huge transition in life for him. 3. I don't have to pack him a lunch. Some schools I looked into I had to pack a lunch. Honestly I am so busy that adding one more thing before I go to bed or to do in the morning is rough. I already pack all my pumping supplies daily in order to feed his little brother. Now here is the thing that makes the school truly exceptional... they know everyone's name. When I walk in the door, the front desk and the teachers all know my son and every other kids' names. That is just awesome. There is a reason why they are the people's choice. I love the fact they have bible and pray before every meal. But I especially love the fact the teachers here are very family oriented. They are very caring and supportive of all the children in the center. I love what they stay for and how they teach the kids. It very Montessori like base. With the way the children learn to be children while still being taught manners and cleaning up after themselves. They teach the kids that they have to get involved with art, science and math. I also love the fact that they do have a nap routine. I love that the teacher can be very relate and let you know how your child day was. Both my sons and I love being here.

Unfortunately, my opinion completely changed after my 3 year old daughter was inappropriately grabbed on her butt by another child while in Kids Park's care. When I brought my concerns initially to a staff member, they said they would let the manager know , and after poor follow up I called again spoke to another staff member , and on my 3rd call it was the owner, who told me she had spoken with the staff and that no one had seen anything happen. I trusted that response, even though it left me with unanswered questions. Because I still had concerns, I filed a complaint with Community Care Licensing. I recently learned that my complaint was substantiated and that Kids Park was investigated in connection with another complaint. Learning this made me feel like I had not been given the full picture when I first sought answers. I hope Kids Park takes meaningful steps to improve supervision, communication, and child safety so that no other family has to go through what ours did.

Helena was shy of two years old when she started attending Stepping Stones. One of the things that stood out for me how she was treated with love since day one, and nurtured in ways that allowed her to grow and develop secure attachments. Although she was saying a few words here and there, it wasn't until she started going there that she began speaking full sentences. We were highly impressed with how quickly she adapted to her environment and thrived with the help and attention of the staff. I am sure this would not have been possibly at home, not even with the encouragement we gave her. Another thing I liked was the student to teacher ratio. Because of the reasonable numbers, our daughter was able to get a lot of individualized attention. Not only was she nurtured, she was also disciplined accordingly when needed. The constant communication we had with staff during times she acted out was reassuring. She was held accountable and it was done so with love and care. Overall, I am highly satisfied with the service rendered. I would also like to add how reasonably priced they are in comparison to other facilities.
