I was recently introduced to this shop for the purposes of an Instagram collaboration, but also spent a fair amount of my own money on additional purchases here. Per Yelp rules, I will only be reviewing the items and experience that apply to the items I purchased myself. This is a charming shop on Lincoln Avenue in Bellevue that has a significantly larger selection of items than I anticipated, from the bath and body items I would have expected to skin care and home cleaning items I wouldn't. I will focus this review on my experience making my own candle and car diffuser. There are over 25 items here that you can scent yourself. There is also a seemingly endless combination of scents. Unlike other candle shops where I have had this experience, they have the bottles behind the counter and you don't go through the shop smelling those, but instead go through smelling other items, making notes of what you like. Sometimes these will be a combination of scents and sometimes they will be single notes. The staff will help you figure out what goes together well to create your candle or other item. You are charged by the vessel you choose and your finished candle sets up in an hour, during which time you can go to one of the many good local food establishments nearby for a bite to eat and come back to pick it up. I came here expecting to create a summery citrus candle but instead found myself gravitating to cozy scents like coffee, brown sugar and salted caramel, which are the three that made up my candle. For a fresher take I went with sugared lemon and basil to scent my car diffuser, a neat little glass vessel on a string that absorbs and releases through the wood on top. (I also scented some foaming hand soap with this scent from a refillery of personal care and home products they have, which was a surprising and cool thing.) You don't need an appointment to make a candle or another scented item and it's fun to create items that feel very personal to you or a gift recipient. They also do private parties and classes. This local shop is an asset to the Bellevue community. I have shopped at PSquared on a couple of occasions and each time have been very happy with the items I have bought. My husband gently reminded me that we have a local scent shop up the street after I had complained to him about my disappointment with some candles I had purchased from multinational corporations. To date I have purchased Maple Pecan Waffle and Gingerbread candles and both were absolutely scrumptious. I have also purchased a handmade soap Dream Man. read more

PSquare makes the most horrendous bath bomb I've ever purchased. We purchased one of the cloud bath bombs at Cafe Conmingo. This thing stained EVERYTHING. Our tub, our son's skin, his bath toys, our baby's bath seat, our towels, our bath mats. Tiny blue specks of pigment that make dark blue smears EVERYWHERE they touch. As soon as you start cleaning one spot, more appear. I rinsed the bath out 3 times with cleaner and they still won't go away. Seriously buyers beware. I would give this zero stars if I could. Save yourself a headache and permanent damage to your bathroom. read more
