I was really happy to see that their main location is back open and ready for business after the fire that tore through the shop. When we stopped by a few weeks ago, the store was already well stocked, with just a few shelves still being filled in here and there. It's great to see them bouncing back so quickly. The staff here continues to be one of the best parts of the experience--always lovely, welcoming, and genuinely helpful without being pushy. On this visit, I found exactly what I had been looking for: a huge cauldron. It was missing its lid, and they were kind enough to knock a few dollars off the price, which I really appreciated. Parking is usually easy enough with street parking available nearby, which is a big plus for this area. If you're into witchy, spiritual, or metaphysical items, this shop should absolutely be a staple in your rotation. A very eclectic store to say the least lol. Interesting book selection as well as decor. I was expecting more crystals but that's not to say they didn't have a decent amount. Lots and lots of incense though. The psychic rooms are in the back and they only close with a curtain so super easy to eavesdrop. This place used to be cool for a fun run in the metaphysical world but it's very "mainstream" and generic at this point. Expensive and fake crystals, heavy energy- feels very much so like it dwells in the "shadow" side of things, but the worst part about it are the unprofessional cashiers. I called and spoke on the phone with two different people and they were both extremely off putting- so much so that I'm actually leaving a review about it. Unfortunately I don't have a desire to come back to this place, for any reason when there are better shops that provide genuine support in this realm. I've been going to this shop since 2024 and I must say, I loved it at first. I liked the mystical energy of the shop. However, it wasn't before long when I started to notice the weird attitudes of the people who work there. First, the psychics, which I don't even believe they are real psychics. I would always get weird looks from them, and they would never say anything. That's one thing, next, I started to notice the passive aggressive behavior from a young male cashier that works there. The last time I visited took the cake for me, I went to go check out my things. I had bought a roll on rose quartz that I didn't know was used, and at the very last possible second he says in a really passive aggressive tone, "That's was used by people by the way." It was so slick and underhanded, that I didn't have time to process what he just said. Whoever that guy is, he needs to keep his misery to himself bc he is so rude. Again, this is two years worth of customer service and anytime he is there, I get terrible vibes. I seriously don't think I'd go here again, he absolutely is a buzz kill. read more

Been coming here for years, it is one of the only extensive metaphysical shops in Los Angeles. Have had readings done some better than others. Like with everything you have to take it with a grain of salt. After Covid my favorite reader disappeared. She was able to connect to my deceased friends and animals. I have never had issue with any of the staff, I am sure they get people who think the store is a novelty. I have been going the Torrance shop for years (decades??) and was so bummed when it closed recently :( But I'm so happy to say that this location is just as good!!! Psychic Eye is my go-to place whenever I need something different or unique for myself or as a gift. There are shelves and shelves of unique and hard to find items like: candle's, boxes, jewelry, incense & oils, crystals and pieces for whatever religion you believe in. There is also a large selection of books on mysticism, new age, religions & the occult. Pshchic Eye as a very relaxed vibe with calming music sometimes incense burning. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly & helpful. It's great place to browse because you never know what you will find around the next corner. There is street parking and a lot in the rear but it has lots of signs so I'm not sure if you can use it for the store. As for the psychics and readings I can't tell you because I have never used that service here. read more

They sell fake crystals and call them died quartz. I bought several bracelets in the amount of $42 yesterday, and even talked to a very sweet employee who helped me figure out what the crystals were. Today I wore the "tiger's eye" and "aventurine" bracelet, and my friend pointed out they weren't real. I took a picture so you can see how they are not authentic. I came back to the store and calmly and politely explained the situation, and asked for a refund. The cashier's response: WE DON'T DO REFUNDS. I asked what could they do since her coworker told me it was a real Tiger's Eye crystal, and she became annoyed and said I could exchange for another bracelet. When I asked if she could show me where the real crystals were she replied "that's what we got, best case they are died quartz." I told her I'd like to exchange for a different item (book, candles, etc) and she became even more annoyed and replied "Ugh! Fine!". Long story short, I found a selenite small tower and asked if it was real, and she then focused on a phone call that just rang and aggressively said "WAIT!", then answered the phone with "Yeah?! WHAT?! She can't, CALL IN 5 MIN!!!" And forcefully hung the phone with "UGH! GODDAMN IT!!!" She made me feel like I ruined her day, when they are the ones selling counterfeit products. They normally charge way more than others stores for incenses and Florida water, but I never expected that they were selling plastic bracelets and calling them authentic crystals (and when confronted they say they are actually died quartz, which they are not." The aggression and rudeness of the attendee was just the last drop for me to never come back here. There are way better stores in the Valley. read more

The service at psychic eye is always awesome! BUT Serena's behavior is unacceptable. We bought my friend a reading for her birthday and she walked out within 5 minutes. Serena immediately jumped into an alt right rant about trump and Israel. No one, let alone, A psychic should ever impose their political views on their clients. If that's what we wanted we would have turned on FOX news. It seems that management is aware of her incredibly insane behavior, but why they choose to keep her is beyond me. This place has gone down the toilet. If I could give it .5 stars I would. I went last Saturday to pick up some things needed and there was a heavy set clerk there which looked like she worked at the haunted mansion at Disneyland with the worst attitude. She seemed like I was bothering her when I asked if she could show me a few things. I'm the 3rd generation in my family that has came to this place and I've never encountered someone with the worst energy in this place. Beaming off Ventura Blvd just past the intersecting corner light of Sunnyslope and before Fulton Ave. They have two sides including the Annex in Sherman Oaks just next door as well as multiple shops in Las Vegas and one in Torrance, Los Angeles. I've been coming here for a few years to restock up on candles, incense and acquire new stones and crystals for myself, but definitely for others as well. Was happy to find a pendant for a friend and a bracelet for another made for some great quality material. The didn't have any chains in stock (probably due to the holidays), but I had a few at home I got creative with. The customer service is above and beyond. I interacted with quite a few psychic eye keepers in the store, but didn't get everyone's name. The guy that rang me up was really helpful and the person who assisted me with the Tourmaline (protective properties - promotes friendship, love, peace) was super helpful. I think they also work at another bookstore I'm a fan of... That or a case of cool deja vu. Either way everyone here keeps it above and beyond personable. I haven't had a reading here, but have only heard and seen great things! You can purchase some large antiques, decor and replicas here as well. The parking is street, yet not too hard to manage. I use to think maybe it's just a bad day for him. No, it's every time, day, year I've called. Today was my last straw! I booked and paid $30 for a 15-minute reading last week. I take full accountability -- I fell asleep and missed the call due to exhaustion. When I called back the same day, I was told to try again next week. I did -- only to be told I was NEVER booked in the first place despite having the charge go through on my account. Gaslighting much? It's one thing to say you don't offer refunds -- fine. But to act like I imagined the whole thing is shady and dishonest. On top of that, the man who answers the phone has the most unprofessional energy I've ever experienced. I had hoped Psychic Eye would offer me more, but the energy here feels heavy and unsettled. Even the fire next door did nothing to clear it. I don't visit often--maybe once every 18-24months and usually just for something random--but each time I step inside, an undeniable force seems to push me right back out, as if warning me not to stay. This space is in desperate need of a deep, intentional cleanse. There is something lingering that must be released, and I can barely stay in the store for more than a few minutes before feeling overwhelmed. Whoever the female employee was that said, "can't you see I'm multitasking" at the front desk is a miserable mess and horrible representation of this company. I came in to test out a psychic to gift to multiple people as a party favor gift along with some stones and other fun stuff for an upcoming birthday party I'm throwing. This woman as I asked her why she was being so rude told me in an obviously shaky and confrontational voice that I was the one coming in the "weird energy". Wow. "Can't I see she is paying someone out and like she said multitasking!?" Despite the Eyes rolling and attitude I almost went ahead and did the shopping I intended to but I couldn't in good conscience spend my money there that I make in customer service. My friend called in advance to book an appointment and they were extremely rude and wouldn't give us their hours. Then told us simply not to come without giving any reasons but seemed like it was because they were arguing a bit with the friend. We showed up well over 1/2 an hour before they closed to see if we could come in and were told that they were fully booked and to call in advance. Not a single reading room was closed and they were the only two there. We didn't argue and stepped outside to call another place to see if we could get in. Right after we left they locked the shop behind us which felt very direct and the two people ended up leaving early right after us before they closed at 10. A staple of the area! I have been going to this place for years to get props, home decor items (cool candle holders), gifts or just to browse. The store is big, nicely decorated, you enter a different world. It has a bit of everything spiritual: books, candles, incense, oils, bowls. I get jewelry here sometimes for gifts since they have original, cool items that are pretty reasonable. Otherwise, their merchandise can be a little pricey. I love their book selection and how you can find anything under the sun you would need to make a spell, learn about esoterica, magic, folklore...it's special and it feels like the magic shop in Buffy come to life. I have seen Olivier a few times and I really like him. He's thoughtful and fun and helpful. My friend really likes Star. I saw Gerald and I thought it was a really life changing reading, but he told me to go to the Landmark Forum which I've always been skeptical and after asking around, people have told me I should avoid. I'm very wary of all types of seminars that use cult tactics. So this is really a multi-dimensional review, for the shop, the readers I love, and just a note about Gerald who I really liked, but I'm just very conflicted about the reading I got telling me to go to the Landmark Forum. He kindof made it sound like if I didn't go, I wouldn't be able to heal some family trauma and find love. It's a strong incentive to go. I don't know if he gets a kickback, but it just made me uneasy about the reading. read more
