When arriving yesterday, I met Sarah first who is the sound bath practitioner. She was very nice and had great energy. I then met the owner who is also nice and has a calming energy. I also appreciated the samples of stress relief tea they have there. I also liked the personal touches in the store and thoughtfulness. For the sound bath experience, Sarah made mention of considerations for everyone there including being as quiet as possible. During the session some people didn't seem to listen to that and a cell phone dropped, there were chairs moving, etc. There were other external noises that made it difficult for me to be fully immersed. I felt my jaw clenching with each external sound made. I do appreciate the value and the experience. For me and my personal needs, I would need a very quiet environment to get fully immersed and relaxed. I didn't shop around but I saw a lot of unique items in the store that were beautiful and focused on wellness and energy. I recommend this store while also providing a predominantly transparent review of the sound bath experience. Wanting to try another of their restaurants before the ungodly heat arrived, we decided to stop in for lunch. Parking: can be a bit nerve wracking, especially parking in the dirt lots east of the place. You have to walk across 32nd St & if you know Phoenix drivers, this can be dangerous. There is a pedestrian light now, though, so that helps -- but oddly enough, there's no "walk" signage. It's merely a blinking yellow light for north- sound-bound traffic so you have to pray to the universe drivers are paying attention & actually stop for you. Ordering: a bit odd. The main door we went in was more the middle door that didn't really take you to the beginning. There's a drink station then the food station. We skedaddled to the right of the main doors for the drink order, only to discover there's another door that people walk through to place orders. So we joggled w/ another customer trying to figure out who was there first. It honestly felt like a school cafeteria, a bit chaotic, as well as cramped. The patio was pretty large & well shaded, but it was also full -- and this particular day also the ONLY SHADE. We were left to sit at one of their many tables on the grounds with no shade. Food: not worth the $77 we paid. I get it's a working farm, & though we try to support local as much as possible, the food we ordered was not good enough that we will stop by again. The strawberry fields salad was a typical salad, no wow factor there. The Italian sammy was dry. There was a minuscule amount of some kind of dressing on it, but def not enough. Dessert: red velvet whoopie pie was so overpriced it's not funny. If it tasted great, I wouldn't complain...it did not taste great. The pecan pie was abysmal; not enough filling and very bland. Two "specialty" drinks, a salad, a sandwich, & two small desserts, for $77? No, sorry, not again.

I wanted to wait until the next day so I didn't write a review based on emotions. Let me tell you... this girl is good! I've had a lot of readings in my life and she tuned right into the heart of the issues. I gave her the 2 generic topics I wanted to look at and she read exactly what was going on without me jumping in and giving her details as she read. If you're looking for a quick affirmations with promises of dates and times, she may not be for you. But if you're looking for genuine guidance, ready to hear what your patterns are and the best way to get beyond it and work with them, she's for you! She didn't try to scare me and sell me a $5000 chakra cleanse, instead she sent me free YouTube links for meditations and gave me suggestions for things I can do right at home to reconnect with myself (like surrounding myself with water and writing lists of affirmations.) Finding a psychic is hard. Especially when you see fake reviews and fake profiles. And since I don't review much, I can see how it might not look real either. I choose based on reviews. That being said, I decided to give her a chance based on her reviews and was not disappointed. I'm surprised she doesn't have more. So the news wasn't so good. It was obviously not the things I hoped to hear but I commend this woman who was speaking it straight and telling it how it is and I knew I could believe her because she got the situation down to a T. Her reading on the present was eerily accurate (without any information given at first). So the predictions she gave I hope are true in a sense about my future which seems to be the positivity I'm looking forward to after a trying time. I found the post and verified it was the same Raquel and phone number from way back then - December 13, 2013, 12:24:51 PM Read 15 times Psychic Sessions by Raquel, Peoria, AZ Raquel is a Certified Fraud. I went to her while temporarily in the Peoria area in September. She is set up on Grand Ave. Her reading seemed accurate at the time but nothing she said came to pass. She is a master manipulator and only after money. She charged $250 for "work" to change the negativity she said was preventing my relationship from moving forward. I should have known better but I was in a vulnerable emotional state. She promised results in 24-48 hours. I never heard back from the guy when I contacted him as she instructed. She claimed that he was listening though but couldn't respond due to stress. When nothing was happening she told me to keep calling her and then when I called she told me to call her back. She then told me that she needed more money for candles only $50 and I told her no. Months later I called her and told her that nothing she had done worked and I wanted a refund. She told me it did not work because I changed my travel plans and I was being negative. I demanded my money back and she danced around the subject, claiming that she did meditation and is a member of the Chamber of Commerce. She is a fraud, liar and scam artist. She moves multiple times and has multiple phone numbers and addresses. Stay away!!!
