We had about 12+ people in the class we attended. What I appreciated most was the overview from Precious, the owner, as she kicked off the class and understanding why she started this business. "She began in 2017 when her son was born. She realized she and her family were burning candles, but didn't like what was in the air when they were burning and the chemicals the candles were putting out into the air. From that, Mister OK's was born. " The product produced (and the one the candles you make) use high quality oils paired with a wooden wick to eliminate soot and 100% soy wax for longevity. She walked us through how to assemble the candle wick, enjoy the available fragrances and be creative in producing our own scent, and an easy process of fusing the scent with the soy wax. Once your candle was done, you were encouraged to go enjoy the local stores on Alberta and come back in about 30 minutes to pick up your product. When we came back, we spent time getting to know Precious and her story much deeper. She is truly an inspiring young woman who is an entrepreneur at heart. I would strongly recommend anyone to grab your friends, your significant other or a family member and just come out for some fun while walking away with an enjoyable product.
