Dina is super smart and intuitive. Rather than prescribe a standardized PT routine, she trouble shoots to figure out what's really wrong. I went in for what I thought was lower back pain. Turned out my sacroiliac joint was out of place. With a couple of gentle adjustments, I was good as new IN ONE VISIT! She gave me some strengthening exercises to prevent further injury.

I have used PT on the East Coast and never paid more than about $60 for 30 minutes. At Rebound they submitted over $300 for a 30 minute session. Honestly, its not worth it. I could have flown back East for a week, had a few sessions there, and it would have been cheaper. There is a problem when flying for care is less expensive than local care. I like my Rebound doc, my PT therapist was good. But the financial cost doesnt justify the benefit. Based on the benefit to cost relationship I wont be back for PT.

The x-ray tech did a series of x-rays including my right shoulder. I told her that I had broken my left shoulder and not my right, but she said the doctor had written that he wanted the right shoulder x-rayed. She said it was probably for comparison. When I went to the exam room again, the doctor looked at the x-ray of the shoulder and said he couldn't see a break. I said the tech did an x-ray of both shoulders. The doctor and he said that he didn't order an x-ray of the right shoulder. After a few weeks, I went to a single session of physical therapy. The PT gave me a photocopy of some rudimentary exercises and went out the door while I did them. No supervision at all. After a couple of months received an enormous bill from them (including charges for the incorrect x-rays). I spoke to my insurance company and they said they'd investigate. In the meantime, I received three bills from them, and hadn't heard back from my insurance company so I paid the balance of what I had owed to avoid any hassle. In the next few days (after paying the balance in full) I received a different letter from Bonneville Collections regarding the amount owed. I explained that I had paid the balance and figured that would be that. Two months later I got another barrage of calls from Malissa at Bonneville (whose mother apparently never learned to spell) that I owed $38.18 on my account still and demanded payment RIGHT AWAY with a $1.67 service charge on top of that. Apparently I was charged the interest on the full balance which I had already paid off. I would NOT recommend going to Rebound. They have little regard for their patients and are super greedy (my insurance covered most of my claim, so it's not like they did not get paid for their paltry services.)

I had been suffering from a huge knot in my left shoulder for over a year at this time. Once Tia spent the first hour on my back the knot had gone down considerably. The next session it was completely gone. As a side note, I had visited three other Licensed Massage Therapists before. None of them could do deep tissue like this. I have been visiting Tia twice a month since then. I work at a desk and get knots all over all the time. None like this first one. She can always find them and fix them right away. I don't know how I got along so long without her. If you are looking for a massage that is just "touching," you can find plenty of those out there.
