I have all the paperwork to turn into the state's attorney and board of insurance and board of naturopaths. I went for her for cancer support, she NEVER helped me, she helped herself. Had I stayed with her I'd probably be dead by now. I got the worst imaginable advice from her. She belongs in jail. She has one customer up to $500,000 owed in interest. Another customer had to file bankruptcy.

I get a message the day before my appointment that I need to reschedule. Calling back about an hour before my cancelled appointment, the receptionist said they cancelled because they couldn't confirm my insurance coverage but have gotten it straightened out. She asked me to come in. I had already told my husband I would watch the kids and could not come to the appointment and would need to reschedule. So we schedule for next week. I get another call saying that my insurance isn't accepted and if I came, I'd need to pay $55 per appointment since I'm out of network. At this point, all these calls and messages are nuisance calls and wasted my time. I could have been searching for a physical therapist that my insurance covers. While I cannot comment on the actual service, the front desk is disorganized and likely structured to get money from you. Hard pass

Krista's work in helping to alleviate the lower and mid-back pain I'd been experiencing for the past six months has been nothing short of miraculous. Before seeing Krista I'd seen another physical therapist, and the difference between the two was like night and day. After only six sessions with Krista, the improvement in my back is unbelievable (unbelievably good!). I don't know how she does it, but every time I present Krista with a new twist on my back issue, she comes up with an exercise - or does some "hands-on healing" - that resolves the problem almost instantly. The evaluation she did during my first session was extremely and impressively thorough. She also really listens when I describe what's going on with me and offers always great, always spot on, solutions. I never feel rushed during my sessions and it's very helpful that she emails updated videos, which include include any new exercises she's added to my twice daily at-home routines. I also have to give a huge shout-out to Troy and Henry. Aside from always being pleasant, both have been amazing at helping me with the exercises I do at the facility and with scheduling. I still have some more work to do, but I'm very, very grateful to Krista for all she's done to get me back to being the happy, almost completely pain-free, person I was before I found her.

I could go on for paragraphs (well, I guess I will...) about how thrilled I am with the treatment I've received. John isn't just technically excellent, he's a wonderful teacher; he explains anatomy, physiology, and neurological retraining so well, and that kept me motivated to do my exercises at home. He genuinely cares about how clients are doing, is truly happy to hear when they're doing well, and took the time to make some careful adjustments to my previous crummy orthotics to make them more useful until my wonderful new ones from Dr. Le arrived. One other thing that especially impresses me about John compared with other physical therapy I've had is that he's not locked into a plan with a preordained set of treatments or exercises. On a recent visit we were all set to do some more ligament/muscle/tendon-focused treatments and exercises, but in passing I mentioned a new sensation I had in my foot and he immediately adjusted that day's visit to focus on the nerves in my back and legs in an entirely new way. That flexibility said a lot to me about his holistic approach to treatment. He and the team--Morgan, Beau, and Hal--are all so nice, friendly, supportive, and encouraging, and are really observant and helpful about every detail of body mechanics to make sure that their clients are getting the most out of every exercise. The repeated cancellations, however, were not so great. For every massage I had, there was an equal number of cancellations, often last minute. To rebook would be another 3 weeks, so I underwent large gaps in having service. They would offer me the replacement of another therapist, however that therapist was a male, and like many women, I am not comfortable with male masseuses. Another issue I had with the service was that the clock in the therapy room was off by five minutes, which I believe was a tactic to reduce the massaging time (I fixed it on one occasion, and the next time it was off again). I understand an hour massage is often 50 minutes, however this took off another 5 minutes, which was frustrating.

For example, there were times I had to lift my left leg with my arms just to get into a car. I am happy to say that, for the last three months, I've been completely pain free! I'm losing muscle mass and Dr. Cosgrove refuses to refer me to the staff dietitian so I can be placed on supplemental nutritional shakes. If I'm not referred by Friday I'm filing a com with the Washington State Medical Board. You go to Compass to stay as healthy as possible and all they want to do is make me sicker.
