Unfortunately PT Nails used to be my go-to nail salon but that has changed. You have to have an appointment and when you get there for your appointment you still have to wait. They are never on time and you end up waiting 20+ minutes after your scheduled appointment time. It is a smaller place but they pack people in as much as they can and it can feel crowded and get loud. It seems like they just try to do as many people's nails they can in one day and overbook, which makes unhappy clients. It should be quality over quantity. Over the years the place has a lot of wear and tear rightfully so, but I don't feel like they do anything to help it. The manicure chairs are so worn, they could be replaced. It just feels dirty now. The staff are kind. They have increased their prices. I will not be back. read more

Not the worst manicure ever, but definitely the lamest. The manicurist barely filed my nails and forgot the massage. The clear nail polish was basically brushed on my finger tips instead of the nails. The whole manicure was done in about 10 minutes. Won't be wasting money here again. read more

I will rate this place with a #5 because there is not a higher number. But really deserve more than 5. I will start by describing the pleasant atmosphere that I received the day I went there for first time last month. My sister-in-law and a friend of mine have been customers of PT Nails and Spa of Brandon for years. I always remember them talking about how happy they are every time they have the nails and toenails done there. My brother also started going there as well. One day I realized that Jenny which has been doing my nails over two years was no longer at the place near to my house. Then, I went to PT Nails looking to continue doing my nails and following my sister-in-law satisfactions. There was my surprise to see Jenny and Jonny there too. I am very happy to continue doing my nails and toenails with her in a place that has a great vibe and is a family business. They made myself and my mom feel at home. AVOID!!!!!! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Went in at 1 pm with an appointment for a pedicure... left at 1:45 pm...I was greeted but otherwise no one spoke or addressed that they overbooked appointments. while I waited three other people came in and sat for their appointments at 1:30. I walked and recommended you never walk in! read more

Stopped in once on a Friday afternoon and they happened to have an opening so I got a gel manicure. Not the best I've ever had, but good and in and out pretty fast. I have since tried 2-3 other times to call ahead for a same day appointment and they have always been booked solid. So maybe I need to plan several days in advance? Who knows if I'll ever be back to give it a second try, but they are on my short list for nails in the area. read more

Hands down favorite nail place. Always so nice and respectful, and helpful with appointments and schedules. Not too expensive, but their amazing work is worth the prices. They remember my favorite nail shape almost every time I go in, w/o asking. Yesterday, I actually at the last minute got my nails horribly done at Lux, and called PT right after. They got me in immediately, and even apologized for Lux's wrongdoings. They did my nails 100x better, asking and making sure I liked them. So so so sweet. I love these people here. read more

Polish done nicely. Small shop, kindv of crowded. Pedicure just so-so. I'm not interested in the "stuff" they use (scents, treatments), I want a good leg massage. One gal said I could pay an extra $5 for that. Such a deal ?! Never got charged extra for contrasting tip color-they do. The tech does a nice polish, but not as neat at getting the gel out from under thevtip-which, in my case, is my own nail. Drilling the underside of one's own nail is never a good thing...use the brush while applying. If you haven't had enough sleep because you're the only woman to work and have a small child, drink extra coffee or stay home. Want to have a conversation? Please include the client at least every 5 minutes or so. This nonstop foreign language chatter under the mask is so very, very rude. Please stop. I wouldn't do that to you, if the situation was turned around. If it wasn't that my nails looked so good, I wouldn't go back. They chipped by week 2 both times, however. I'm not sure she used a shellac on the tip color-the colors seemed to split where they met. read more

They are doing a super job of putting public safety first. Masks, hand washing, distancing including filling out a safety waiver. I felt very safe during my visit. To top it off they have the best customer service. Greeting at the door with instructions for safety measures, apologizing for my 10 min wait when I didn't even have an appointment and a warm good bye with gratitude. Way to go! Had my nails done today at PT Nails. Thy was the girl who did them. I had a new set of pink and whites. Thy did an excellent job. She was fast. She took about 45 minutes from start to finish She didnt have to do a lot of smoothing out once she applied the pink and white I am very fussy and I was very satisfied with her work. I had an eleven o'clock appointment. When I got there they Said it would be another30 minutes before they could get me in. I had some errands to run so I went and did them and was back in 30 minutes. As soon as I got there they were ready for me. If I can get the kind of work I received today I am glad to be a little inconvenienced. Thanks Thy for the great work. I will be back. I do think they could be more professional about not talking so much amongst themselves. That's why 4 stars. read more

I appreciate PT Nails even more after making the mistake of going to Queen Nails in North Muskegon, Mi. Now I see why it is harder to get an appointment sometimes, because they are friendly, do great work and appreciate their customers. They did an amazing job on my nails, they did take a little long to get me in, my appt was at 5:30 and I didnt get in until 6, but it was well worth the wait because it just shows how much time they take to make sure the nails look their best!! 10/10 recommend this place!! read more
