She took feedback and made countless tweaks to make sure I was 110% happy! The three other stylist that did my mom and sister's hair were equally fabulous and all styles turned out great! Angela did my nails for the wedding and was a lifesaver! Two days before our wedding a nail broke on my ring hand but she glued it back together so perfectly that they looked flawless at the wedding AND I could confidently use my hand not worrying about breaking the nail. And to top it all off the service was fantastic! Reserving space for the girls and I to hang out upstairs and on the deck, sharing their kitchen with us for pre-wedding snacks/lunch, refilling drinks as we got our hair done. THANK YOU HAIRITAGE- you really made my wedding morning stress-free and fun!

If I lived in Muskegon you couldn't pry me from this place. I went for the "Half Day of Beauty"…read morethey have on their spa package menu. Upgraded to a full hour for both the massage and the facial, added Shellac to the mani and pedi, and also had an eyebrow wax. The massage and facial were perfect, with special touches like Aveda oils and hot towels taking the services to the next level. Pedicure and manicure were pretty standard, and well worth the price. Wash and blow dry was standard. Eyebrow wax done with hard wax, which was slightly more painful than when done with muslin but didn't leave my eyebrows red after. Service provided the entire time was excellent, and the services were provided at an excellent value for what was received. They were able to squeeze me in for all these services with no notice on a Saturday. Only complaints, someone accidentally switched the music to Christian radio (whatever if this is your cup of tea, however not the most relaxing massage music), and the massage room was a little bit chilly. Neither of those things were errors by the spa or technicians and I only mentioned them for the sake of honesty. If I'm in Muskegon, I will be back!!

When it came time for my appointment, I was running about four minutes late but from the moment I stepped in, I was encouraged to relax and not hurry. Their lobby has a soothing atmosphere, as do the halls and rooms. Julia did a wonderful job and was so thoughtful and professional. I thought a skin exfoliation would be only that, but Julia added other lovely little touches, like a heated eye mask and some light massage. I had a gift certificate to spend my first time, but I hope I can get back to Salubrity Vida again! *One thing to note is that the sign on the building is not super easy to see from the road, so give yourself enough time to go by it and turn around a couple times to find it (which I didn't--hence being late above...). :)

My husband booked me a full day here for our anniversary, and I never felt so relaxed! Carissa did my mani and pedi and was accommodating when I ended up not liking my original polish color. Brooklyn did my facial and was awesome at explaining the products and tools she was using. Andrea did my massage and was such a sweetheart. We had great conversations and she had me in stitches with laughter. I loved that the place is so committed to the environment and respective of their footprint. I highly recommend this place to anyone. Would make a fantastic gift for any occasion, or a great date. The next time I come, I'm definitely bringing my husband!

I came here for a facial and enjoyed a couple hour experience checking out the sauna and hot tub and other relaxation spaces. I had hot tea at one point and prosecco at another point and then they had a little snack menu if I wanted to camp out for the afternoon too. It was a very quiet and chill day so I didn't run into many people. Service was great. Wonderful place to escape. Bring a book and put away your phone. My only complaints? 1. I had wanted to schedule a massage too but was told the massages were booked but that they'd put me on a cancellation list (I was flexible on any time that day). While in the hot tub, I sat next to someone who said she called that morning on a whim to get a massage with her husband and they were both able to get spontaneously get in! I was a little bummed that I didn't get a call about the openings. And 2. The hot tub faces the parking lot on one end and the water system on the other end so I think it would be nice to have some landscaping bushes go all the way around the (small) outdoor perimeter so I'm not looking at cars or big green boxes during my relaxation time. But overall, a great day. I also wish they had some warm and cozy snacks as everything on the list was cold/pre-packaged granola bar-type things. But I would return anytime! Just book in advance because I scheduled several weeks out and they were pretty full.

Know that you have to go in…read morewith a sense of humor and that there is a language barrier but you will have the BEST experience EVER. I have gotten a head spa treatment done before but this is a totally different experience. I was influenced by Katy to get the Groupon to do a girls spa day with a friend and wanted to make sure that we could do it at the same time, so decided to call instead of make an online appointment. So when I called, he didn't even introduce himself on the phone so I didn't know if I called the right business. I just asked if I had the right business and it was clear we had a language barrier but he was beyond friendly. We had mostly one word convos the whole time but successfully made the appointments and hoped for the best! The availability was very open and we were there within the next week. Parking was ample and when we showed up, we were greeted by a very friendly man, who clearly did not speak a lot of English. He pulled out his phone and showed that we would be speaking through Google translate. We shared that we had 2 appointments for 3pm for 90 min (the supreme) and then he took us back. We were seated to do the analysis and review our scalp health. I was first, and he took a few pictures of my scalp and said it was inflamed but I had a lot of hair, asked if I had any questions (I was stunned, I had no idea what I was getting into), so I said no, and I was quickly whisked away! My friend was left there so I'm not sure how her experience was. I was introduced to a lady, unfortunately I did not catch her name, but I was in the jasmine room, told me to get the things, and proceeded to point to the table - and left the room. So luckily I knew I had to take my top off and use the robe. Then I just laid on the table. She told me I had to get up so she could position me properly then laid me back down. They also drape a blanket over your body to keep you comfortable. Their description of the 90 minute Supreme Scalp Therapy is a Dredging Meridian & Deep Clean - Scalp Test & Aroma Relax - Hair Follicle Purification - Scalp, Hand and Neck Massage - Hair Mask With Steam - Hair Dry & Styling But it was waaaayyyyy more!! It started off with a pretty aggressive head massage but felt great. There was a few rounds of shampooing and masking but I also got a facial, arm massage, and then, surprise!! She pulls back the blanket from my legs, moves my legs and disassembles the table (whatttt???) and plops my feet into a pool of hot water to just soak. So you have water across your chest, head and feet. Don't go into this appointment with a full bladder. The massaging was amazing though. Great tension and then she ends the whole thing with putting the table back together, with you on your stomach, to do a massage and getting a lovely body massage/slap (as Katy's review mentions). Then she slaps me one more time and says "all done! Get up". So I get dressed, walk out to the next room where I get the most amazing blow out and we're finished. It was the best 90 minutes I could have spent and I am beyond happy I had this experience! It made me laugh, smile and I felt so relaxed by the end. Most importantly, everything was very clean and sanitary, everyone was extremely kind and friendly and they provided amazing service! I would love to do this at least twice a year as a lovely treat for myself. If they ever start a salon to cut hair... I'd come here in a heartbeat!

I saw Victoria S's great review and bought a Groupon right away for the ginger qi treatment. It was easy to book a timeslot through the Far East Scalp Therapy Spa website, although I did request Tyrone but got someone else instead. When you arrive, they'll scan your Groupon barcode (if applicable), then take you into a salon-like room to scan your scalp. The ladies who did my treatments didn't speak much English, so I didn't get any info on what they were seeing on the scan except for "oil," lol. Then you go into the private treatment room and put on a towel (like a bathing suit cover up). Take off your bra, because they will do a back/shoulder/chest massage. It took a bit of scooching and moving around to get into the proper position on the table, but once I did, I had a pillow under my knees and blankets over me and was super comfy. Then the treatment started, it was 70 minutes and I didn't know what to expect! Here's some of the stuff I can remember: -15 minutes of strong head/face massage and hair brushing -Hair washed multiple times, including with the ginseng treatment, which was VERY tingly and cooling -Washing/massaging of ears -More head massage/shoulder massage -Chest massage -Warm water running over chest with a weighted eye mask on -Vigorous back/shoulder massage with lots of slapping -Blow dry It was a very unique and interesting experience, and I felt pretty relaxed for most of it! I will say it's probably not great for pregnant people (you are flat on your back/stomach for the majority of the time) or if you don't like people touching your head, or if you don't like strong massages! I would definitely be interested in coming back in the future. My hair and scalp feel amazing. I wish they would have shown the scalp scan after the treatment too so I could see the difference.
