Her inner qi stimulates the healing energy and harmonizes the solar plexus for a strengthening of the entire mind, body, spirit organism. She is well-informed and intuitive and as her client, I expect to make the transition soon.

I had to ask about it because he never said anything about it post op and previous follow up visits. Then he said I told you it was a possibility and kinda changed the subject and ended the visit. After a year and a half I can't really move my toe and at times I feel pain at the bottom of my foot when I walk. I do not recommend seeing him, find someone else.

I went to Dr Katz about a dozen years ago for treatment of a minor foot ailment. I never had a foot…read moreproblem before but I developed a small callus on one of my feet that hardened and was painful and irritating and I could not get rid of it. I went to Dr Katz to have it removed. I anticipated a very fast and simple office visit, but as soon as Dr Katz saw the callus he immediately said that I needed orthotics. (Orthotics are usually an out of pocket expense and can be very costly. Selling orthotics is very lucrative to podiatrists). I asked him if he could just remove the callus because I was in pain but he refused to. He kept telling me it was pointless to remove the callus because it would just keep coming back without the orthotics. He also gave me scare stories about how I would have a lifetime of foot problems without the orthotics because my feet were not lined up properly. He said I should think about buying the orthotics and reschedule an appointment. Long story short I went to this guy four times! Each time he kept pressuring me to buy orthotics and he continuously refused to remove the callus. Meanwhile, I had to unnecessarily endure several additional weeks walking around in pain. I also wasted valuable time going back and forth to his office. Under extreme pressure (which was practically bullying) I eventually relented and agreed to buy the orthotics from him (even though he still did not remove the callus). I later received a bill from his office. I was charged over $1,200 for the appointments and nearly $500 for the orthotics! I called his office and asked why my insurance didn't at least cover the appointments. I mean, his receptionist photocopied my insurance card and had me fill out insurance forms. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. His receptionist gave me some convoluted answer about the doctor not being in my network but being in my plan....whatever, I couldn't follow it. I was furious at her for not pointing this out to me and making it seem like my appointments were covered. Essentially, I was left with about $1,700 in debt, orthotics I did not want and probably did not even need and - worst of all - I still had that painful callus on my foot! I was so angry I refused to pay for the appointments (for which he did absolutely nothing but pressure me to buy orthotics) and I refused to pay for the orthotics. After some back and forth I threatened to report him and I told his office if they want money from me they'll have to take me to court. They backed off and that was the end of it. A couple of weeks later I went to another podiatrist who was much nicer and far more honest and ethical. It took her about 30 seconds to remove the callus. Furthermore, I told her about my experience with Dr. Katz. She said my feet were fine and I did not need orthotics. Contrary to Dr Katz's high pressure assertions the callus never came back and I never had another foot problem (and I'm a serious runner). Dr. Katz is a weasel. Stay away.

I've been getting the same therapist every time for the entire session. Not only did the therapist treat me on location and give me exercises at home but explained every detail of why each movement was necessary. This was a smaller practice and much more personal attention was given to me. Every other physical therapy location I've ever been to was run like a factory. I work mostly with Karl who is very talented, professional and encouraging. He understands very quickly what the source of the problems are and what the best exercises are to treat the root cause, not just the symptoms. Marks level of insight and expertise were excellent, and the overall experience was a new one for me as pertains to physical therapy. I have been through many facilities for different recoveries and they all felt like I was getting a mediocre training session at a gym for hurt people. The sessions with MVMZT by comparison were done in a private room in a 1:1 setting so I was the full focus of the therapists attention, not one of 3 a therapist was running between at most places. My overall pain in the area has been reduced by therapeutic treatment for scar tissue and mobility in the area in the office sessions and my strength in the affected knee has been significantly improved after the strengthening program I was given at MVMT, both in office and at home prescribed workouts. I could not give MVMT and Mark Lusk a stronger recommendation, he is absolutely world class.

I've been working with Vikash for over six…read moremonths, and he is by far the best PT I have worked with in over a decade as a competitive high school + D3 college athlete turned runner into adulthood. I came in after dealing with more than half a year of chronic pain in multiple places--my knee, hamstring, and random spots--that had completely sidelined my running. I had already tried several well-known running PT clinics around the city and continued to end up with lingering pain and zero trust in my providers or recovery plan. By the time I found Vikash, I was frustrated, burned out, and extremely fearful that I'd never get back to running. From day one, Vikash was different. He was the only PT who actually listened to what I'd been experiencing. He took the time to understand the full picture and built a thoughtful, personalized plan instead of a one-size-fits-all routine. What made the biggest difference, though, was how he guided me through the recovery process with positivity. I am what many would consider to be a senior citizen ( I certainly don't feel like that), and thanks to Keith I am now deadlifting my own body weight - 115 pounds ! I find the workouts to be far more challenging than I would ever do on my own and also the fun factor is a huge plus! I have met many people who dealing with serious injuries at Perfect Stride but the atmosphere is so upbeat and supportive there is this sense that recovery is always in reach and being told things like " You are not your MRI" really helps. My first review was in 2016 and nine years later I still love Perfect Stride for healing and strength!

Mount Sinai Rehabilitation is the best physical therapy provider I've ever been to…read more Unlike some of the more cramped offices I've seen, the therapy room is quite large with a complete array of machines. You get a full evaluation on your first visit. They ask what your issues are as well as what kind of function you want to regain. Very comprehensive. My therapist was knowledgeable, competent and friendly. Being that they're located in the hospital complex, they follow full PPE protocols. Everything is neat and clean. My favorite thing is that they use the MedBridge Go app to assign exercises. You can follow along with the exercises with the animation. Very easy way to maintain the proper form. Anything that makes the process easier is welcome. Sadly Mount Sinai stopped taking my insurance so I haven't been able to continue. From recent news articles it seems to be more of a Mount Sinai problem than an insurer problem so I have to take off a star. Otherwise it would be perfect. I'm going to miss this place.
