The food here was very good. My wife got the 1/2 rack of ribs and they were fantastic. The meat was "pull off the bone with a slight chew texture" just the way I like them. I know because she let me try one.The sauce they use is great as well. My pulled pork sandwich was good but nothing compared to the ribs. The sandwich was supposed to have coleslaw on it which I requested after I took the photo. Once I doctored up the sandwich with more sauce, also requested, and the slaw, it was good. I got the side salad as my side dish and it was one of the smallest salads I have ever seen.. it was simple and good. The service was excellent and the view of the golf course was great. My recommendation is to sit outside as the noise inside is a bit loud for me. read more

I have only had positive experiences at this pub! I would call it more of a casual restaurant on a nice golf course :) You can wear your summer whites or casual jeans and a summery top or jeans and a T. There is a nice big deck for outdoor seating which overlooks the golf course. There are nice big square umbrellas for sunny days. The staff are all local and friendly. My recommendation for food is the build your own pizza. Unlike other places I've been, their toppings offerings are comprehensive including spinach, hot cherry peppers, green olives, feta, shrimp, etc... on top of the standard "boring" toppings. Clean golf course restaurant with a nice outdoor deck to sit on. The menu had a wide variety of items and it appears they even do prime rib some night. I had the crab cakes, which were full of crab meat and served with a spicier sauce. My only issue with the crab cakes were that they were a little to greasy for my liking. The waitress suggested the chipotle turkey and bacon sandwich. It was very good! The ciabatta bread was so soft. The service was fairly quick even with the restaurant being full and the wait staff were very friendly. I will definitely come back next time I'm golfing. read more

Service was terrible. It was very slow and when it finally came my pizza order was wrong. Because we had two small kids with us and the food took soooo long to get to us, I didn't want to wait another 45 minutes for the correct order and asked that it just be taken off the ticket. The rude waitress didn't think it was her mistake and said they don't do that. At the end of the meal, that she forgot to bring out our requested extra napkins or my husband's requested plate for his pizza because he hates to eat directly off the pizza plate, she hands me the pizza to go. No way am I eating that. First off, it is too late and my enjoyment with family has passed. Second, her attitude makes me question the safety of the pizza. Not returning ever!!! Added She absolutely did not read it back to us. I hate chicken on my pizza. I distinctly remember when my husband said sausage, I looked down on the menu to see if it was an extra charge to add that item, and it was. We ordered drinks & food because we didn't want to take the chance of her not coming back for 15 minutes. Basic bar food. "Malt vinegar beer battered cod" was definitely just Gorton's frozen. Fries were terrible. Gluten-free Flatbread pizza- so so. The wait is what was really ridiculous. I don't mind waiting if the food is going to be delicious. This was not. Took an hour to get our food. Waitress never came back to check on us. I know there is a shortage of help everywhere, and I'm taking that into consideration when I give my 1 star. read more

I called in a pick up order last night as we are being as careful as possible to avoid the corona virus. I was stunned to arrive and the pick up window was closed and I was directed to pick up the order inside at the bar. No one, NO ONE, was wearing a mask. I almost walked out. We woke up to the news the president reportedly now has the virus. It is airborne. If anyone in that enclosed space has the virus we are all at risk. This is not a hoax! I should have walked out. It is so frustrating our leadership has declared this virus a hoax and as recently as this week, the president said it was disappearing. The virus is not political. The staff and managers need to take the health of patrons seriously and wear masks. read more

We've never been here and decided to try them. First thing we noticed is they offer no main entrees before 4:30pm. We wanted steak and prime rib. Was seated at table and spent next 18 minutes waiting for drinks. We finally got up and went to bar and asked for them. They admitted they forgot about us. Good we got wasn't anything special but was decent. Took 30 minutes to get food. Not once did waitress come by and ask us if we were good or needed refills. We went to bar each time we needed a refill. Took another 15 minutes to get bill after we asked for it. Another 8 minutes for her to return the card. All in all, food was decent but nothing special to return for. Service was absolutely terrible and that alone will stop us from coming back. This was Sunday, January 30th. read more

This isn't your typical golf course restaurant! Pub19 has some of the most amazing food in the lakes area and hands down has the best pizza. Super friendly wait staff and cold drinks! Not only is their pizza to die for, but the sandwiches, lasagna and salads are a few of my favorites. Worth a trip to the other side of the lake! read more

Went in last night for pizza since we had heard from several people how good it is. Service was excellent, pizza was horrible. For the Papas All Meat. I was here with a group doing some training for work. We yelped area eats and this came up with great reviews. The restaurant is situated on a beautiful golf course. The waiting staff was attentive and friendly. We ordered four of the pizzas and I elected to have the steak. I requested it medium and it ended up coming out raw, and was cold on the inside. If you are looking for a good meal and casual, pretty setting, then Pub19 is for you. We went on a Friday night and were able to get seated right away with our table of four. Our waitress was attentive and helpful. Two had the prime rib special and said it was great. We also tried the Verde pizza with added sausage and it did not disappoint. My family and I recently came here looking for some food. When we got there we weren't asked if we wanted to sit outside or inside. Just forced to sit inside where it was extremely cold. When we asked if we could sit outside our server very rudely said we couldn't. From there we had to wait 30 minutes for most of our food to be cold and inedible. After being seated inside it took 10 minutes for a waitress to come see what we would like to drink. Once we got our drinks it took another 10 minutes before we were able to order. Our waitress was very rude during our entire dining experience. Then it took over 30 minutes for us to receive our food and only 1 of the meals came out hot, and 2 of the meals came out inedible. Sunday before Labor Day so knew it was going to be busy. 20 minute wait for a table--no problem. We were able to get our food order in within a few minutes of being seated. 90 minutes later our food arrived. I ordered the 'Sauteed' Walleye Fillet. It was not sauteed. Steamed maybe, poached maybe, but in no way did the fish see a hot pan. It was white, not a single sign of it being sauteed in ANYTHING. The mixed vegetables were the highlight of a $30 meal. It was slightly crispy on the bottom with absolutely the bast flavor and texture I've ever experienced ! I grew up on the Jersey coast in an area known for its pizza, but this pizza beat those experiences from my youth. My wife and other granddaughter had Linguini Alfredo and they raved about the cream sauce ! They also have WestO Smoked Red on tap which was the perfect pairing for the wonderful pizza (at least for me). The service was friendly, attentive and timely. Sooo we walked in and it wasn't busy there was one waitress which I get it's hard to find help!! She was off the bat rude we should have left then and there but we stayed and ordered burgers and they were awful. The burgers were definitely premade and warmed up. The fries were warm at the best. It took FOREVER to order as the waitress I believe her name was April kept talking to this other family about swimming as we sat for 15 mins and just waited and waited. She was so rude and no we won't be coming back. Food was bad and the service was awful!!!! After we were done we went to LaBarccas and had chips and salsa just to get something else in our stomachs. Our server was really nice but super slow. The atmosphere was nice and clean. However, our food wasn't great. My daughter ordered fish and it was super greasy. I ordered a pizza without peppers and onions and it came to me with them. All they did was take the pizza back to the kitchen and pick off the ones on top. I still had to pick the rest off. No offer of making a new one or discounting the price. Cost was high for what you got in my opinion. read more

Love the flatbread. Nice atmosphere and good service. The menu has a good selection of food. I have had the pizza the flatbread as well as the fish and chips all has been good to very good. I would recommend either lunch or dinner at Pub 19. During the warmer times of the year there is a very nice deck for outside dining that overlooks the golf course and also provides a partial view of beautiful West Lake Okoboji.
