They repeatedly assured me--through videos and reports--that the vehicle was in mint condition. Based on their representations, my wife and I traveled to Margate on July 18, 2026, spending over $600 in travel costs to finalize the purchase. When we arrived, the salesperson tried to complete all the paperwork before allowing us to inspect the car. Once we insisted on seeing it, the issue became immediately obvious: the interior reeked of strong cigarette smoke. The salesperson admitted he had tried multiple times to have it detailed, and when Matt Freking opened the door, he instantly confirmed the odor was from cigarettes. This vehicle was originally sold by Arrigo in 2023 and serviced ten times before being traded back in. It is hard to believe that no one at Arrigo noticed--or disclosed--that the car was heavily contaminated by cigarette smoke. We received no apology from Matt or Arturo for the wasted day, the travel, or the misrepresentation. If you are considering this vehicle, the safest choice is to walk away. Thirdhand smoke is extremely difficult to remove and poses ongoing health risks. Very disappointing experience.
