This place is not great. I highly recommend looking elsewhere for a storage unit. I was told my rate would always be $60 but they doubled it, then the manager insinuated that I couldn't afford it which was the last straw. I immediately told them to cancel. The district manager called and basically did nothing but defend his manager, call me a liar and then brought up personal history (my divorce) which kind of was unnecessary. I feel like these people are really going to be losing a lot of business, I'm hearing tons of bad things from other people now that I'm actually looking at reviews...they are great on day 1 when they want your business, but wow are they bad after that.... read more

This place is horrible for your storage needs. We used this place for 8 months. The first month the price was super cheap maybe $150. Mind you nobody was ever in office it was an online check in. As time went by the price went up and up and up. It went from the low price to almost $450 monthly. Once I made a review while still renting I received a call from someone and they dropped the price $100 for 3 months (to help) once again still paying over $300 a month which as still double the original price. After the 7th of the month they will lock you out of your unit and tack on $60 additional to your bill, as if locking you out of your own unit wasn't enough. We finally removed our stuff from our unit and was horrified to realize that mice had completely taken over our unit. There wasn't an item we stored here that wasn't touched by mouse urine/droppings. Not only was the mice using our unit as their personal bathroom, the mice also chewed up quite a few items. While we was removing the last of our items from our unit there was another person at his unit. The man was older probably over 60, I asked him if his unit was also attacked by rodents and he said it was and then went on to tell us that his unit tripled in price and that he was on social security and had his billing come out automatically and he didn't know right away that his price went up. This place instead of working with him made him pack his stuff up and move it all to another unit to pay a lesser amount. This company has absolutely nobody in office, the unit's we used in both situations aren't heated or cooled. That are literally cement block squares for people to put their stuff and the company forces you to pay more than it's worth. Apparently to pay for their rodents home lives. Also, when we got our U-Haul truck we told them about the prices we paid and they was flabbergasted and their prices were much less so I'd check with a U-Haul storage first. By all means avoide this place by any means possible. read more

i had some things in this storage unit for over a year. In that time, my bill went up 55% . My couches that were less than 2yrs old and in great shape had mice droppings and dust all over them. the property was renovated over the last year evidently. They had mouse traps in each corner when I rented and when I left. From the dust and spider webs it looks like they were never changed. Employee wasn't available any time I needed them. So glad I moved storage units for half the price and much closer read more

This is my first time using this storage facility. The staff was very helpful and responsive. Pricing was fair, and unit was easy to access.

A joke took over American storage I rented there public storage took over I never wanted them that's why I didn't rent there. They changed numbers so small u cant read them its gated but they close at 9pm I work 3rd so like I cant ever get there their rates are outrageous. Always with fees every time I turn around. I had 2 10 × 20 units. Before public storage took over my price was about $100 a unit. In the few months Public Storage has owned the site my units have raised to $195 each. I used to call in my payment and pay both units at once. When I call now, I'm told I have to pay online. We accidently payed one unit twice in March on the app. instead of them fixing this mistake we were told we had to pay the second unit. I am a disabled veteran and don't have that much to spend on storage. Instead of fixing the problem, Public Storage auctioned off my second unit. I admit I made a mistake on the app but Public Storage would not help at all to fix a simple problem. I would never recommend them. prices have doubled in a few months without prior warning and customer service is either non caring or inept. read more
