I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Public Storage in Dallas. On January 23rd and 24th, we had a severe snowstorm. Because of the weather, it was not safe to move my belongings on the 24th and 25th. I also work two jobs and return home at 9:30 PM every day, which made it even more difficult to reschedule immediately. My move-out date was January 31st. I respectfully asked the sales associate if I could have just one extra day, until February 1st, to complete my move due to the snowstorm. I was told that if I moved out on February 1st, I would be charged for the entire month. I asked to speak with the Manager or District Manager, hoping for some understanding. Unfortunately, I received the same response -- no flexibility, and I would still be charged for a full month. I previously rented with Extra Space Storage in Weatherford, and they provided a five-day grace period even when the weather was clear and sunny. That experience showed consideration for customers. At this location, I felt that customer service was not a priority. There was no empathy or willingness to help during a difficult situation. The staff was not friendly or understanding. When a customer is facing bad weather and personal challenges, there should be some level of flexibility and basic courtesy. This experience has been very frustrating and disappointing. I hope management seriously reviews how they treat their customers in situations like this. "Because of this experience, I cannot recommend Public Storage to others." read more

DO NOT RENT HERE! Unaccomodating, no carts, broken elevator... I switched from EXTRA SOACE STORAGE. There I never had any issues needing a cart of elevator. This place is dirty. They could at the least wipe the front windows from all the hand prints and the elevators are disgusting. Horrible place that's greedy and inconvenient. The reviews on Google are fake. read more

Left my stuff in for A WEEK and my unit (plus about 10 others) was broken into "overnight". Not sure when it was broken into considering they waited to give me a call about it. Doesn't even matter what floor you're on, stuff will get stolen. read more

The units get broken into on a regular basis; the office staff/manager is well aware of the issue and nothing gets done to fix the issue, much less take any responsibility or offer any type of service recovery. We filed a police report when our unit was broken into (along with 5 other units) and were told the storage unit wont file reports to avoid any responsibility, so in essence they have made it very easy for the break-ins to continue. The hallways and units reek of cigarettes, so make sure your items are well covered to avoid smell permeation. I put in my move-out notice for June 2nd, and they let me know they don't offer pro-rated prices (even after we just had thousands of dollars worth of things stolen due to negligence), so one more thing to keep in mind before you give these people your business. read more

TO BE CLEAR, this 5 star is ONLY for SHIRLEY!!! Public Storage finally got someone in there who cares about the customer! She actually answers the phone and is truly genuine. THANK YOU SHIRLEY!! The rest of the reviews are accurate in 1 Star description! They have been price gouging me for over a year, you would think the more money I give them. The more they would want to keep me happy. This is not the case, I pay $350 for a 10x20 that is currently for new customers at $220. That's not a special either, it's just the reg. monthly rate. These people are thieves, once you get in there. They take advantage of you and the fact that you have no way of moving your things out and have to pay dearly to keep your items. read more

I just got a unit there and tbh I will probably keep my stuff there a couple months and get a new one somewhere else! I thought I would be nice since the building is only a few years old but the elevators are nasty from the inside and take forever to work when going up someone had to be coming down if not you have to go to the second floor to bring the elevator down! They really need to get that fixed! I don't foresee myself being there anymore then 3 months! I wouldn't recommend! read more

Easy to rent online, very easy to store belongings even on the second floor. I was very surprised at the ease of the whole process. The only reason I gave four stars is because having to do a u turn off I30 was difficult for me to do the first few times especially at night read more

Nice clean place, doors move open very easily, ceilings are higher than some other places I've used, there's electrical outlet in the hallway. office staff was friendly and found a cart for me because all the rest were in use. Lock was provided. Wish the hours of access were a little longer but maybe for safety reasons 9:00 p.m. is best. read more

Really nice and clean. Online option was great and detailed. Jessica at the front desk, I believe her name, was very helpful. My only concern was we noticed there was an orange bag of unknowns and a clear bag filled with brown liquid for only God knows what, on top of the storage unit over the fence lining. She helped us get it down and we assumed the last owner left it since they'd just moved earlier that day. I know online wouldn't know that would be there but it'd be nice if that unit weren't an option online until fully inspected by a person; otherwise no other concerns. read more

Highly don't recommend. This place smells like piss and rot every time i come here. Homeless people sleep around the corridors on the 4th floor, thinking they're out of sight. The doors or elevators are always broken. There are never any carts available for use. I arrived yesterday 12/26/23 right at 6pm, and was looking for a cart when I spotted one in the office. There was an employee there shouting that they were closed through the glass as if I was stupid and blind to the fact that the door was in fact locked. I pointed to the cart behind her and told her I just need to borrow the cart. She refused and waved me off. Disgusting, do a better job and stop being lazy. I didn't need anything but the utility cart to bring boxes to the storage unit I pay for on time every single month. Lazy and care free. No wonder you work in this dump. Do Not use this service. They will lie to you try to trick you and scam you. I was lied to about a promotion and was scammed into paying an aditional $500. I had tried to avoid this and even have a recorded conversation with a costumer service representative and the supervisor where they explicitly said this wouldn't happen. However, they ended up charging me an extra $500 and when I conacted support all they could do was "apologize" that the other representative and supervisor told me I wouldn't get charged, but wouldn't refund me. Dirty tricks to draw in business and then try to scam you out of every penny they can. Downright fraudulent in my opinion read more

Be careful when renting here. Their security is lacking and they have had multiple break ins. Without good exterior security, this is an easy target as their preferred locks can be easily cut off .... as we unfortunately found out. read more

Don't come here! The people that works here are all managers because the main girl Kiara is the one that obnoxiously stated that to my face. She runs this very unprofessionally and very lazy cause she and her coworker didn't even wanna get off her throne and show me a unit. She proceeds to manipulate my bill and charge me a late fee before my bill is even due. Then it causes more chaos cause her actually manager didn't even put in correct credit from the first incident on this months bills and now Kiara proceeds to belittle me saying that he did his part and I didn't pay the full bill is why I'm being charged more fees on it. Either way, when you have one bad apple then the whole place looks like a wrecking ball. I recommend finding another storage place cause there are so many others around. No one should have to be talked down to and harassed the way I've been by one individual cause then it turns out to be a hate crime. This girl is a hater and proceeds to call herself a manager when she's evil in the way she talks to you and never resolves anything cause she finds a way to mess up your bill. read more
