This company in general is the absolute worst. I think they test u during interview to see how well your life are believable oh and don't get me start on the unbelievable price gouging Working with a homeless single mom went to make payment over phone... No I get harassed about not being able to make payment because I am not on account and I don't have account holder on phone ( mom doesn't have a phone so hard to reach her) dude all I want is to pay the bill because the unit is going up for auction in 24 hours. Finally get someone who is allowing me to make payment then they tell me it's $40 more than the bill I ask why? I get told for customer service con fee are u flipping serious? What about the inconvenience you have caused me because now I have to go in store by driving a clear across town to save the single mom belongings because your inconsiderate rude overpriced uncaring individuals that work at public storage... read more

They have a serious known mouse infestation in the building I was in. No food was in my unit so the glue traps were full off mice that were then eaten by other mice (see pictures). The insurance that they have doesn't cover pest infestations which is why they knowingly rent this units out. I had to buy all new furniture because of the amount of mouse droppings in, on, and around all of my belongings. I contacted the national customer service and they said just make sure the unit is clean before I moved out! I told them I was going to write a review but even the national customer service doesn't care about this place. As you will see if you rent here, these people could care less. During the time of my lease my cost went from $107 to $185 knowing I was out of the state and there was no way to come change storage companies. Go to Extra or Greenbox as they have staff that cares. Never get the Public Storage insurance!!! Get your own insurance on the unit trust me! read more

My unit was burglarized at 10298 E 45th Ave Denver, CO 80238 in mid-December. The thieves didn't get a lot, only because I didn't have a lot in there. But everything that wasn't taken was trashed, including a couple of large items which I now have to replace. Several irreplaceable items were broken, and as I've gone through what was left, I'm finding that very random items that are not worth any money and some personal items are also missing. They tout their security measures, but there is no surveillance inside the building, and only a few cameras on the outside of the buildings. The outer door to my building was broken when I arrived in October and was only fixed after I had called the police and made a report about the burglary in December. Property manager was nice and friendly, but that doesn't help with the multiple break-ins in that building. read more

This place will lure you in with low prices then hike up your rent. I have a 5x5 unit that is listed online for $25.00 per month. My rate after being a customer for 4 years is $70.00. Talk about being raped! There's no explanation for that! Once I returned from 4 years in Honolulu, I found that some of my items had been chewed by rats. I called to speak with the property manager about why my rate was so different and the rat problem but she never returned my call. What I believe they do is bump your rate up so that you default and then they auction off your items. Rent at your own risk. read more

I stored my vintage car in one of these garages, it was the most inexpensive garages I could get for the price and although it was a little out of the ways the area looks secure, private and clean. I wasn't able to arrive the day of my appointment and got there the next day and they still honored the same price. Ric helped me, he was great in helping me. Overall I would recommend this place. The only reason I did not give this a 5 star is that there is a promotion that says $1 for the first month but you are not able to get this deal if you already have another storage unit with them regardless of the area. I think they should honor this regardless and not just make new customers happy but keep the current customers happy as well. read more
