I only have a few complaints about this place which I will now list in no special order: 1) They are supposed to open at 11:00am but you usually have to wait about ten extra minutes before the office opens. 2) Sometimes the owner locks the office and puts a sign up that says, "Out in the yard. Back in 10 minutes." I guess the 10 minutes reset every time someone reads the sign because I have waited about 30 minutes until the guy drives up with a bag of McDonald's from down the street. 3) I have found rat or mouse droppings in my unit and some of my boxes and bags were chewed up. 4) I saw a headless pigeon carcass on the ground once. 5) A lot of screws and bolts on the ground (probably from furniture) so be careful. 6) No on-line payment option or automatic pay. These are tiny complaints that I can live with because overall this place is great. No bullsh*t.

Most of the time i use tri foam gun instead of the brush cause it ruins the paint of your car.The tri foam gun was clogged or some sort and barely anything came out of the gun which was very frustrating. But i had to put up with it because i already had put in $10 worth of coins. Car didn't get cleaned at all,tried to look for the owner but i saw the open sign turn off. As per Guardian Storage and Smart Stop Storage, the auction that ends on March 19 is my unit which is under legal hold. It subject of 3 lawsuits in 2 counties as my personal, private, 4 active lawsuit information, one against Quest Diagnostics, who is the attorney handing the injury lawsuit that I have against Quest Diagnostics for an OSHA violation while I was on the job working. This has resulted in my life, family and health being destroyed permanently. I have had shoulder surgery, lower back surgery after loosing the use of my legs and neck / spine surgery when my arms started to stop working. Plus many other things. As well as the reason why the unit has been sitting there for over a year and a half is because of the fact that they had a rat in investigation and there is rat feces and urine all over my items. They refuse to let me originally cleaned it up in the year 2004 because they didn't want me to take any more pictures, but I have plenty of pictures of dead rats and their urine and their feces and eaten up things. It is a health hazard and a biohazard violation and it would cost $65,000 to clean the unit up that doesn't include the cost of the pictures of like my unborn children that I have only one picture of the few items that I put into my car that now my car permanently smells like rat, urine the fact that there are family heirlooms in there that are covered in rat urine and will never be restored. They have been trying very hard to not let me or anybody else in the unit so that no evidence more than what already exists can be achieved. However, I have tons of evidence and they know that this is so much their problem and their fault to the fact that they offered me a settlement close to $20,000 and I returned and denied that settlement because of the fact that it will cost $65,000 just to clean it up as it is a health hazard with the virus and many other things. What they are doing putting this up on auction is illegal as they well know and the auctioning company knows as well also. This is a brief summary in which the auction company already knew this when they listed it. I have more pictures. They also illegally went into my unit and tried to remove some of the dead rats. However, I already had pictures that's called tampering with evidence it's considered a legal crime scene now you're not allowed to do that so I'm letting everybody know what is going on with this and trust me. I'm about to put it everywhere so for the website owner who is doing the auction I suggest you take it down Cause come tomorrow we're gonna get real close 1 I have plenty of pictures. They also illegally entered my unit and tried to get rid of the rats and the traps but if you look at the auction online that ends on the 19th you will see the rat traps. Two days prior to our move, a gentleman called to confirm and told us that he did not have " good notes" and we were then informed we would need another mover and more time as well as a 15% gas fee we weren't aware of, which increased our price. We weren't happy but at that point it was too late to try to find another company. We were able to negotiate dropping the gas fee as we were not told that originally. When it came time to pay, there were additional fees (ie supplies like tape and blankets) that were on the bill. Again, this was not disclosed when making the reservation though we asked. Now, we do have positive things to say. Our movers, Gideon and Fred, were AMAZING!! They asked questions, were careful, worked hard, and had great customer service. Honestly, those two were the highlight of our move. They did so much work for us and we can't thank them enough. We would hire those two to help me move any day!! My advice to anyone who is moving, ask lots of questions and ask for a quote in writing.

When I spoke to the dispatcher of course there were a thousand excuses none of which matched the movers explanations. They touched pieces two and three time unnecessarily and I started moving boxes myself because they just left thins in the hallway rather than moving it inside. Never again!!! Beware! This facility in Aurora is immaculate and only about a year old. Everything is clean. The moving carts appear to be custom made because they are sturdy and slightly wider than most other carts. I like the electronic locks. For me, it is convenient that I can assign guest access via the app instead of providing a physical key. Is it more or less secure? I have no idea. The staff at this location are very friendly and helpful. They gave me some guidance on estimating the size that I would need. On moving day, they were on site to answer questions and offered assistance to the moving crew. Finally, the pricing is competitive without all the "first month free" promos needed to draw customers. News flash: the other places make back the free rent with higher monthly rent.
