Updated January 2023: The same storage unit I have been renting since 2020 is now $188 a month, with a banged up door since day 1, and nasty front desk lady whom I still avoid after the fiasco in 2020. Upon looking online for price comparison, I see that the same building has the same sized unit I am currently owning for $140 a month... So why am I paying $188 a month for the same unit? Who knows. Keep an eye on your monthly fees. I want to thank Lana from online customer service chat for helping me with the issue at hand. Their online and phone customer service has always been great. I just wish the prices and in the building personnel reflected it. Updated review Dec 2021: Just received an email notifying me my rent would go up from $125 to $160 per month for a 5x11 unit. Last year I had a problem with them raising my rent price multiple times during the year before I gave up and had to complain to get anyone to actually treat me like a decent human being. I really hope this isn't the case again. I find my self avoiding the front desk lady as she always seems to be in a nasty mood. read more

Use extreme caution when using this company. They WILL increase your rate, and by a lot! For example; we just moved out of 10X15 unit and was paying a car payment every month for it at the tune of $402.59. When I got home to see what their 'reserve on-line' rate was for the exact same unit, it was $253.00! Our first months rent for this unit $266 (tax and fees included). This was 51% increase in 3.5 years! I wish my paycheck went up that percentage over the last 3.5 years!!!! We had an issue at another Public Storage property that required a lot of phone calls and time to get resolved, and promises where made by the district or regional manager that were NEVER FOLLOWED THROUGH. When we checked out today the 'new' regional manager was at the property and when we shared our negative experience he of course said sorry and that the person we spoke with was no longer with the company. They also informed us that they can raise the rates at anytime due to the fact we signed at "month to month" lease agreement. This company banks on the misfortunes of others and relocations. See once someone moves, gets divorced, widowed, relocates or is forced to downsize they don't really have many options other than these types of storage facilities, AND THEY KNOW THAT! Today my wife and took all day sorting and moving our boxes to a new location in a rented uHaul that literally is costing a more than have right now. But we are no longer naive, and we will be paying closer attention to those emails addressed from our new storage facility. Someone also pointed out that their 800 customer service number is useless. We can also attest to that, when we needed help for our prior situation we couldn't get a hold of anyone whom job it was to just rent units. So far so good. Office was closed and having the use of our phone as a FOB for access was seemingly easy access. Also the lock provided with keys. I didn't even know it was provided plus they left everything inside the unit. Super easy... Yes if you don't cancel prior to your intended cancel date they will get you, but I don't they deserve a bad review because "our negligence to not think ahead". read more

If I could give minus stars, I would give it minus 10 stars. I reserved a unit a week ahead to have it ready for my move in date (tomorrow). The day before moving in, I logged in to finish my reservation and although it held it at the sale price I reserved, it would not let me complete the reservation at that price. The promotional rate was no longer available, even though my reservation stated the sale price. It would not let me rent it without paying full price. DO NOT RENT HERE!!!! I have been a customer here for 6 months or more and needed an extra unit. MJ was my contact person and she is very knowledgeable but could not help me. Normally the place is not manned and no one is there to talk to if you need assistance. She said "Sorry but could not fix the issue, I could pay the additional $150.00 or go elsewhere. You can't call the company, they do not answer, chat is useless on the website, the whole experience was horrible. I rented at CubeSmart down the road. I rented a unit on 5/24/24 and later that day received a call from the property manager stating i stole mace on my cart. She also had to help me take some stuff to my car since it was not suited for storage. I have a feeling it was the same person Missi was mentioning here. I wanted to see the video and she refused to let me see it. I filed 2 complaints today. I never even saw that item she said I stole. And also someone else was there for a few minutes and he cursed her out...not sure why. I know when i wanna curse as well the other person is the issue. The former manager was a sweet lady this one is the total opposite. If I need more storage in the future I will use other companies for sure!!! A complete hoax! They bring you in with a reasonable rate and then out of nowhere or without a credible, objective justifiable reason my rate was increased by more than 15% after 5 months of use. Then, there is no way to contact anyone at the facility with proper knowledge or authority to argue the rate increase. The nationwide customer support is also useless. BUYER BEWARE!!!! These guys can literally increase your rates without any credible justification. Then, they do not let you lock a rate for extended periods of time. read more

I was using another storage facility for over two years and the service provided was so so. I found this storage online and from the minute I stepped inside, Mary joe made me feel at home. She showed us around the facility as if it were her home. She went above and beyond by allowing us to use the dumpster when a piece of furniture we were moving fell and broke. I was barely in my 5' X 5' space, not even 6 months when I got notified about a looming rent increase. My rent was going from $60 to over $90/month. I went into the office and asked the manager about this... her initial knee-jerk reflex reply was that I am on a monthly contract so they can do whatever they want. I asked her if a 30% rent increase, $35/month increase, is normal? She said it was. She told me they will raise the rent 2 or 3 times each year. I asked her to put me on an annual contract - to put me on a lease and she said they don't do that. I asked her if everyone in this facility was month to month?... she answered with a Yes. She reminded me that the place was sold out and the rent increases will never stop. For me the rent-jacking will stop because I gave notice that I am vacating by end of the month. What pissed me off the most was that they refuse to offer a lease. By not offering a lease they retain the ability to raise everybody's rent twice a year. How greedy can a local business get? They couldn't give a crap about all their neighbors who use them - they'll just suck out as much rent from them as is possible. I wonder how high can the rent on a 5' X 5' space go? Probably north of $200/month. read more

We kept a 10x10 storage room at this facility for a while until we found a permanent home. The facility is clean, and well run. Leilani/Lisa (?) and MaryJo(?) - the two women in the office, were always so helpful and so accommodating. When we moved out, there were no problems, never any bugs or anything, really a great experience. The facility is air conditioned, and monitored and everything feels really safe. read more

Excellent Service! I just signed the contract today with Jim at Public Storage and the experience has been outstanding from beginning to end. I spoke to Jim last week and we set up and appointment for today which he graciously called to confirm yesterday. When I got to the storage, Jim was waiting for me with a big smile. He helped me pick out covers for my sofas and bed and he took me on a tour of the storage facility. The facility is very clean, well lit and staffed with friendly and helpful people. My father rented a unit in the building when the building was owned by Stor*All storage, it was very clean, well maintained. Ever since public storage bought the building it was not being cleaned as well, not maintained as well, and the price for my 10 x 15 unit almost went up to $300 a month. But the employees are nice. Good: Overhang outside, nice employees Bad: not cleaned enough, not maintained enough, and expensive. read more

Where do I start, I reserved a unit online for $1 for the first month...Mary Jo didn't want to honor my reservation until I showed proof, luckily I had a picture on my phone. Second MJ forced me to sign up for "there" insurance when I specifically told her that I had my own. I was so unhappy with this facility....please have knowledge before you rent from this facility especially if you are a minority. I feel like I was discriminated against and I have contacted the appropriate officials. Don't trust everything you are told, research for yourself. read more

This place used to be so nice, super clean so well kept when it was Store-All. I had not been there in a while after it was sold to Public Storage. I couldn't believe the difference. Maybe most people don't care where they store their items but I do and I couldn't believe how run down it became in a matter of months. Disappointed in the new company. The staff there sucks!!! The girl behind the counter firstly, saw us coming to the door but locked and left the office with no regard to us. We had to wait for her for over 30 minutes to come back. Then, she was unprofessional and screamed at us (I mean from the top of her lungs and out of control!!!) for using more than 1 cart!!! We told her we were reporting her to corporate and she didn't even care... Who does this!? They hire ghetto trash in there to run their business, don't trust your belongings in there with them! Oh and we found a new one that's $100 a month cheaper with a cleaner facility and nice staff. That place has turned to crap! read more

I have been in my storage unit just under 5 months. Mary Jo was not very pleasant to deal with, but the process was pretty straight forward. The facility is clean and seems to be well maintained. Like the other reviewers have mentioned, I received my notice of rent increase (30 %) in the mail yesterday. I suppose their business model assumes many people won't want to go through the moving process again so soon and they will just pay the increased rate. If you're looking for an economical storage facility to use long-term, this place is probably not for you however, when you combine your savings over the first 5 months with the new increased rent, you're paying about the same as the other comparable storage facilities over the course of a year. If you plan on staying much longer than that, I would really research other places to see where the better deal is at. Also, if you have your own insurance, you DO NOT have to purchase theirs during your initial sign-up, even though they tell you otherwise. A quick email to corporate fixed that. I'm assuming MJ gets a bonus if you use their insurance. Other than that, it really is a decent storage facility. read more
