As someone who has just lost his job and the house that should have been signed for last week, I had no idea what to expect from the team on Wilson Drive when I chose that location for the entrustment of my material universe as I button up in a temporary residence for the winter and work to regain what has been lost. I first met Heather, who is a new addition to the team, though she cheerfully and bravely forged ahead through a new protocol and took charge of every step to begin this business relationship. Already, she felt familiar. Then Aimee emerged from the hallway past the desk with two other new tenants , softly receptive to their college-aged questions and apprehensions and straight up with the quality of the information delivered. Heather and Aimee worked very naturally together and communicated well. Sid appeared and led the team through the rest of the transactions with all the kindness and direction of a big sister and the professionalism of anyone you see in downtown restaurants at noon. I was offered helpful products and services at every opportunity and never felt I was being "up-sold." I went here a couple of days ago to get boxes. I was really unsure of the amount and size of boxes that I need. There was a lady there that helped me, she was so nice, I think she was the manager because of how much she knew and how professional she was. Her name was Sid. I was completely clueless but she was so nice and really took the time to help me find exactly what i needed. She asked me questions to make sure I get what is best for what I need. Like, I thought it would be cheapest and best if I just buy some large boxes instead of a whole bunch of small boxes. But after asking me if I was going to moving the stuff myself or if someone was going to be helping me, I realized that I do need the smaller boxes because there will be no way that I will be able to lift all those heavy boxes since I am moving them myself. ( like I said I was completely clueless) she also helped me pick boxes for all the items I am moving. she saved me a lot of time and money and was so helpful and nice to me. If I ever need boxes, moving truck, or some storage space I will always come here read more

I'm giving a 5 star because the price is reasonable, insurance is included, and it's climate controlled. Not to mention, they provide carts which make your job easier and that's a first too. Im not sure what people expect or maybe they don't have much experience with other storage until rentals and companies but I am moving out of a storage unit that is in a basement and moldy (the owner doesn't care), they don't provide insurance, and the owner took the door off my unit to go through my things. Now, I have missing (stolen) items when I've been a loyal on time customer for more than five years. I paid more for the unit I'm moving out of than I pay for my unit at Public Storage. who knows what I have to throw away because of damage. Plus, it's climate controlled and insured. It's a little smaller than what I had but I will take Public Storage all day long over any of the several units I've had over the years. read more

I've been with this specific location on Wilson Ave since May 2018 and I must say, please ask for Sid! She is the most knowledgeable person on staff. She has this location running so smoothly that it's very impressive and helpful being on the customer side of things. I've been in to make payments and have never had any issues. If I ever have any questions about my unit or online account I have always called; any staff member or Sid were there ready to guide me in the right direction and answer my questions. This location is also great at returning calls and leaving voicemails; I find that the communication is above par and very helpful. Choose this location over others just for the fact the staff and management choose to help their customers in the best way they are able. I appreciate the staff at this location so much!! read more

I had been looking at storage facilities all day and was ready to take all my stuff to the city dump and then I ran into Public Storage on the Hill. Ease of access to the facilities and LOCATION...the capper were the salt n pepper staff members Myesha & Rita. They knew the competitions prices and kept this place spotless and professional. Another bonus that Myesha explained to me was the built-in insurance of my monthly bill protecting my property against fire, weather, and/or crackhead (s.) They busted balls a little bit with my haggling but what do you expect...your on the frigging "hill" ya stunad. I have been a storage customer here for about 12 years and I've never had a problem, which is due in large part to the helpfulness and kindness of the staff. In particular, I recently encountered one of the best PS agents ever in Shannon, who was extremely kind and helpful, explained options to me and left me feeling like there was a real friend taking care of my things. She was very personal and took a lot of time to make sure I understood and was comfortable with what she was providing. Other people came in while she was waiting on me and she was able to handle them without making me wait. She was as friendly to the other customers as she was to me. I have used this location for over a year, almost 2 yrs, and have never had a problem...Not once. When I moved in, Sid was there to help me with everything and when I moved out this past weekend, Sid and Heather were both there and very helpful. I had an inside unit, as I had some weather sensitive items, and everything was as it was when I put it in there...nothing was damaged or ruined.
