Usually I don't go around getting on Yelp for nobody but I just gotta sign up and do this for Jared who just promoted recently and managing this property. Wow, everything was much better. Felt like home as soon as you walked in. The unit is the CLEANEST AND SAFEST IN the city. AND, the new manager Jared just made it MUCH BETTER. He will make you feel like home. He would greet you and welcome you with much big of a smile and warmest hospitality. If you are thirsty moving your bags and boxes here and there under the hot sun, he wouldn't' mind running to the store next door and bring you a cold bottle of water. You are never alone when you go for this property. The atmosphere has changed since Jared took over. We had had a different manager before him, and it was a different story. I wouldn't recommend any other place for storage unit if you are looking around in Studio City or in the Valley. BEWARE ! This is a warning to all the people that are looking to store their belongings in a supposedly safe place with video surveillance cameras. Public Storage claims that they have video cameras, and they have never had any thefts or burglaries but on the contrary I have been a victim and my unit was BURGLARIZED. There is NO safety at all. I had a very large storage unit but unfortunately my unit was BURGLARIZED, so I feel very much violated. There was no records of a video footage. When I requested for the video footage the regional manager that happened to be there that day said I can not give it to you .The police needs to request it. The head manager avoided giving it to me or the POLICE. HE even accused me by saying that maybe someone I know did it. To make a long story short DON'T give your business to them, I found out from LAPD that there has been many THEFTS and BURGLARIES. Within the past year alone 7 BURGLARIES including mine have occurred ONLY in my location, today I found out there has been a lot of other burglaries in other locations . I hope this helps. read more

I've used Public Storgae before and they have always been reliable, efficient, and appropriately priced. This time, however, they were not only ALL of what I mentioned above, they were exceptional in terms of customer service and satisfaction! Brie was my office administrator and she and I had a wonderful conversation that made the experience of lugging my belongings into storage a very 'uplifting' one, as she changed my mood completely with her positivity and kindness. She met all of my needs as a customer and went above and beyond to make us strangers become friends. She told me she just transferred to this location so I hope she finds the area to be welcoming, as this location is lucky to have her. This review is dedicated to Jared! It's always nice to meet such a special human -- and in a storage facility, of all places. He's incredibly helpful and kind, and always went above and beyond. For example, when I moved in, he gave me orange slices on a hot day (seriously), and when I moved out, he taught me how to reverse a super-short trailer (so much harder than it looks, my god). I can't say how much I appreciate him! On a technical note, I had a good experience with the facility overall. My stuff was always secure, the staff were always prompt in replying to any questions, and I felt that they worked to get me the best deal possible and were very upfront about what to expect. Hey Chris and Joseph it's me Kenny again. I know you guys rather me leave a review on google but I am so pleased with you guys service I decided to leave two reviews, google and yelp. If you ever need a storage rent from Chris and Joseph or if you are moving and just need packing supply go to them. They are extremely friendly and Knowledgable. I come into the store every month to buy supplies for my company and always received A++ service. If I was their boss I would be very proud of them. The insurance company adds to the scam. Of course you have to buy insurance and you have to buy their lock. Once my review came out suddenly the office hours changed and they had no more after hours access to the building. They declined of course to pay out saying I needed receipts for everything even though I had police report and everything. who has receipts for everything they own? It's all a great scam I lost some really valuable and personal items. I repeat do not rent space at this location. Can't get my things back but I can help others by telling them the truth. read more

It's always disconcerting when one is in a position to keep their treasured belongs somewhere other than their home. Public storage who I've been a customer with for more than 4 years in 2 different locations is the best. They make everything easy & efficient. I've been renting a storage space for about a year now as I'm off traveling outside of the states. I try to call in at least once every 2-3 months just to make sure nothing is out of the ordinary. I've been storing here for 4years and its a great facility overall. Parking is a little difficult sometimes, but manageable. Jared and staff are friendly and seem to be on top of things.
