We've used A List moving twice now. Lyndon and his team couldn't have made the experience gone smoother! I really appreciated that Lyndon took the time to do a survey of all of my belongings and ask about the layout/logistics/parking of each place weeks beforehand... I didn't realize how important that is when getting a quote. Lydon was able to prearrange the right-sized truck and crew so things went smoothly on the day of the move. They created a system to safely and efficiently move our belongings down 4 flights of stairs, and brought carpet protectors, too. This was my second time using A-List Moving and Storage in a span of a little over a two-month period. Luckily my second experience was just as good as the first! I had the same foreman, Nathan, as I did the first time and he was friendly and efficient and went the extra mile. (He had the marble top to my kitchen island ride in the truck cab with him so it wouldn't get broken.) It was just under an hour from the time Nathan, Brian, and Alfred arrived at Public Storage until the time my unit was empty. After that, it only took about two more hours to get everything unloaded into my house and put together. They were also extremely patient when I just couldn't decide where I wanted two pieces of furniture. The end result looked great! A-List is not the cheapest, but if you don't want your stuff broken and you want to deal with friendly people who won't cheat you, they're your crew. Wow! I never knew a moving company could be this amazing. I used to do it the college way and shove everything in a bag and stuff it in my car haha. Decided to hire a company this time, they were amazing!!! I called them and they were able to help me same week. The movers were soooo friendly and professional. I had been warned not to trust movers. I got a referral to A-List movers. I got an estimate from Lyndon and set a date and time for my move. The movers showed up right on time and began work right away. They were extremely hard working and willing to work with me because of my house not being ready and having to move my furniture into the garage. Lyndon and his team are absolutely phenomenal! My boss initially used them to help with her residential move and brought them back to help with our commercial move--the guys helped move thousands of dollars worth of laboratory equipment with such care and were incredibly respectful and responsive. I am writing a revised updated review because it has been over a year and and this business stays on my mind when I think about great service. This place was hired by my realtor. They did an incredible job moving a two-bedroom condo's worth of stuff in to my current house. Since half the stuff was going to a different location beforehand, they also did that seamlessly. It was a big move. The guys were fast, friendly and hard working. Everything was packed and unpacked very clean and organized. Nothing was broken. Everything was placed where it should be. What an outstanding job they did. We just re did the paint I. Our house, so I'm happy to say that nothing was chipped, scuffed or damaged either. I'm very impressed! Edit- I also want to mention that the invoice and pricing was clear and precise. Edit 2- Im still unpacking boxes and I forgot to mention the packing job in my previous review. These guys must have used at least 300,000,000 sheets of packing paper. Wow. Every single item was wrapped expertly. Even the stuff that isn't all that breakable. Each item was like opening a present. Then when you open it it's like "oh a wine glass who cares". But seriously. There could be an explosion in my home and everything would still be in tact. After 25 years in my home I was moving from California to New Mexico to be nearer to my family. My realtor, Jamie Pearson, recommended Lyndon from A-List Movers. Lyndon realized that my move was too small for a truck, so he recommended I use PODS and he would be able to assist in packing it for the move. He answered all my questions and made several recommendations as well to keep the cost down. Tanya contacted be a few days before to confirm the date and time. On the day of my move, Nathan the lead and Daryl arrived on time and packed the POD so well that not one thing shifted in the POD. I have never before hired a moving company to pack and move - we usually just ask friends and family for help and exhaust ourselves in the process. However, given that we were in the middle of a pandemic, and we really needed to move quickly and safely, we decided to go for it. Lyndon and his company were recommended by a friend, and I cannot say enough positive things about our experience. I can't imagine ever moving again without their help. A-List Moving and Storage did a top notch job with our recent move. Lyndon, the owner first came to our house to give us a quote. He called a day before to confirm the day and time of our move. His team of movers also called when they were on their way to our house the following day. All four of his guys were informative, friendly, fast and worked efficiently, covering all the furniture and wrapping all the mirrors and art work. Nothing was damaged or broken. His team placed furniture where I wanted it in the new house and also rearranged a few pieces as well. The move was done within the time frame stated and the cost was slightly over the quoted price (I believe this was due to the wrapping of some items). We decided to move at the drop of a hat in a wild housing market, and A-list came highly recommended by our realtor. Lyndon Johnson (you read that right) came to the house to do an estimate and he couldn't have been nicer. He definitely knows his stuff and can see exactly how many extra boxes you're going to need even though you think you don't need any more boxes. He's done this a few times. His crew was on time, courteous, thoughtful (in times of Covid that's important) and worked tirelessly on a close to 100 degree day in L.A. to get our stuff loaded, then unloaded. It was a whirlwind but we were glad to have the professional help of these guys. If you're moving the contents of a substantial home, I can't recommend them enough.
