well I will never use public storage again. so they did provide the unit/s, however gaining access to them has been challenging. they had issues with the gate for over six months. so the facility was not secured as advertised. they have an app, which I used for about a year, since I got a second unit it has never worked again, I download it and it locks up every time. so now I'm back to punching in a gate code on keypads that are not accessible from your vehicle, so I have to get out of the car to punch in. the manager. has blocked my access with her personal vehicle during hours of operation, "problems with the gate", she couldn't block me with the gate. my account was in good standing, so why this woman was denying access is still a mystery. I pre-paid for the second unit in advance so I could count on having that day to move things in. rented a truck, took the day off, and what happens is the manager is unavailable, and the gate code is not working. Total waste of my day, I write a review and the regional manager responds to me, asking if there is anything she could do get me to change the review, and offers $15.00off of my bill. I said yes, pay for the day of pay I lost, the rental truck . So they have the worst service, they are unfriendly and maybe I'm just being targeted, but sure seems all the shit be hitting me. read more

The storage unit I rented was very spacious enough room for all the stuff I had. When we were moving in the attendant came by and was very friendly and thanked us for choosing their storage and told us if we needed anything to let her know. read more

Talk about a rip off you would think that a room with no other use wouldn't go up as much as these fools charge. What originally cost me $99 is now at $179 plus $25 you have to pay for a new lock if your more than 6 days late on rent. Im moving my stuff out asap. read more

They advertise $1 for the first month but then when you go in to sign up they throw in the insurance is required and the lock so $1 ends up being $50 - $60 for the first month it's really terrible false advertising. Then the first month comes and your paying more then you care to. I almost lost my stuff because they were all too greedy. During my most recent visit to this location, I was pleasantly greeted and assisted by their associate named Jamie. I found her pleasant demeanor very refreshing. Hence, at this same location, I had the privilege and honor of being assisted in my business transactions by the General Manager of the Wichita, Kansas Public Storage facilities. I found this gentleman to be intelligent, knowledgable, and very professional. I am very impressed that Public Storage has had the insight to have such individuals of this caliber representing them. This company has more class action law suits against it than virtually any other storage facility we shopped. Google this for yourself. The Woodlawn location in Wichita Kansas perhaps is the biggest ripoff of all. They falsely advertise pricing on units at this facility and increase your rates on a regular basis. There is broken glass, trash, and the main gate has been broken numerous times this last year. If you have rented for over a year, check it for yourself. Call the 800 number and you will be given rates considerably less than your paying. If you have rented for over 3 years, you will be shocked at the price increase. You need to move on from this company. The procedures are company wide, so do not be surprised that each location is basically the same. It is a very large scam on a global basis. This is a huge company with well documented shady practices. Don't trust them, or you will regret it. read more
