Talked to the head of the floral department two weeks ago about helping with flowers for a celebration of life. I was told no problem. Came in three days before celebration of life no problem he says No problem again. Showed up yesterday to grab the flowers they aren't there and this is what I was sold for full price. Very rude woman working in the Deli department. I will never shop here again. She was mad because my online order was not ready, so she had to make it. She didn't put everything on the sub as requested on the order. Once it was done making the sub, instead of handling it to me she tossed it on the counter and walked away. I was pissed and instead of paying for my order I left it there on the counter. I refuse to be disrespected and pay for anything with that type of behavior. I will never shop at thus location again! read more

This particular Publix is located in a small strip mall just off 75 in the town of Acworth, Georgia. Publix has forged a solid reputation for itself by offering strong customer service, weekly buy one, get one free (BOGO) deals, and let's not forget their incredible subs, affectionately known as pubsubs. Overall a great store but pharmacy is horrible. Had prescription sent here came Makida or however you spell it said come back in an hour. Came back after an hour she said they didnt have the ingredients so she canceled my prescription. Thats dumb as fuck she could've just sent it to the walgreens across the street. This Publix located right off of I-75 near Larry McDonald Memorial Highway and highway 92. Nearby businesses includes, CVS, Dunkin Donuts, Bp, RaceTrac, a laundromat near the Chevron station, a Dairy Queen inside a Shell Gas, Sonci, Waffle house with at least 3 decent hotels within walking distance. Besides being in a great location the folks that run the place are fantastic. From the cashier to the deli manager everyone here seem so warm and friendly. They greet you at the door, there are people working the aisles offering to help you with stuff. When I was here-I only came in to get a couple of small items but someone actually stopped me and offered to get me a basket! What great service! Thanks guys for a great experience. Went there today at 7:00 PM. Deli area was a cluster. They close at 10:00 but no 8 piece fried chicken at 7:00???? Had to stand in line for 12 minutes to find this out. It's a Publix, which automatically means it's good. The BOGOs are excellent; the store, including restrooms, is consistently clean; the workers are overall kind and considerate. The bakery is outstanding. It's a smaller Publix, so it doesn't always have all the amenities of others. There is no self-checkout, and during the day there are often only two or three check-outs open. They are good about opening up another when necessary, though. There's no Coke fountain that I'm aware of, and no seating area to eat food from the deli. They can be out of stock with items that are on BOGO. When I pointed out as much to a manager, there was no offer of a raincheck or substitute. Kind of a bummer. Not the end of the world, but it would have been a nice acknowledgment. All in all, it's a good store. Not the best you'll ever see, but still great quality. read more

I have been shopping at this particular Publix for the past 10 years. It was even where I started my first job when I moved to Georgia! I just love the fact that everyone is always so friendly when I walk in! The pharmacist, Steve, is AWESOME! I can call and ask him questions and don't even have to tell him my last name, but he knows who I am and inquires about my family! Yesterday, my husband and I went grocery shopping for our Christmas dinner. We decided we were going to have a roast along with some other main dishes and we went back to the meat department to pick one out! We liked how the bottom round looked, but they didn't have one quite big enough for us. I checked with the guy who works in the meat department, Dave (with whom I used to work 10+ years ago) and he was like "Oh, sure... I can cut you one fresh!" We though, SWEET! So he gets it out and cuts it and then tells us "We didn't have any of the regular bottom round, so I'm giving you the Angus beef for the same price." BONUS! Everyone is always helpful, although they do kind of look at us crazily whenever my husband tells them that he prefers to bag his own groceries. Even the store manager comes over to try to bag our stuff!! read more

I am riding my bike from California and its getting late, I need to charge my electronics and set up camp for the night, I pull into this publix and find a outlet to charge my things, after asking a couple of the really nice employees and 1 of the very professional managers I began charging. I sat there for about 4 hours and during that 4 hours I was very impressed by the way all the employees seemed to be like family to all of the guests. Everyone of them were so kind and pleasant. Great job Publix!! Your my first impression of Georgia and you've made a very good expression on me. ...... I am..... The knight Manager. P.s. We moved over to this area in October and this Publix is literally down the street from our subdivision. At first it seemed smaller than I would have hoped for. Buy for basic amenities it was perfect. The thing that stands out about this particular location is the customer service. I have never anywhere in America (former military brat here) met such a warm and inviting staff. They always appear professional. I never hear anyone complaining and it's the middle of a pandemic. Tonight however they went above and beyond. It's close to payday for my family and so I was going to have to put back a jug of juice. The clerk asked me why and I was honest with her that I couldn't afford it tonight. Her and the bag gentleman offered to pay for it for me. I literally started crying. With all the divisiveness in the country and the pandemic it was so nice to see the kindness of strangers on full display! read more

I never had a problem with this Publix until today. Everyone who works there has always been really friendly and has been there a long time, especially the people at the registers and customer service counter. Today I got a sandwich at the deli. I was the only customer standing there and was completely ignored for like 5 minutes. The 4 or 5 employees back there looked at me and walked away to do other things. Finally someone came up to make sandwiches and asked me if I had been helped. I said no and she said, "Well, I'm sure someone will help you," and continued making a sandwich for an online order! I guess. Finally someone else came up. That person and the person I had first talked to started joking around about how aggravated I looked and sounded like it was funny, right in front of me! This was a stop on a road trip to grab subs. The store is a weird set up... At least compared to all my Florida stores. We grabbed some fruit from a nice produce selection. We went to the busy deli counter and were helped by James. James made a great sub and was super friendly. He is an asset to the store. The cashier was super nice also. read more

I have also been shopping here for the last 10 years. I tend to go in, know what I need, grab it and go. I used to use the pharmacy here but since they didnt offer online management at the time (they might now) I switched over to Walgreens across the street. My only peeve is that they have a very limited selection of organic and natural food (but it is getting better). I prefer the Publix down the road or the Kroger off of Hwy. 92 to get my organic and natural foodstuffs or the Kroger in Towne Lake. read more

Never had a complaint about this location until a few days ago. I debated writing a review about it but the situation sat heavy on my heart. During one of my last shopping trips I overheard who I think was a manager- considering the attire, vocally demeaning an elder employee. The employee was significantly older than the presumed manager. I heard this happen on two different occasions inside the store. It took everything in me not to stand up for the older man & I sincerely wish I had. He complained about the employees pace, harassed him about timely manner & ridiculed him while the man was restocking isles. Completely uncalled for. read more

Honestly, this store is great. I am always asked if I need help. Love their products, prices and those who demo the foods. They sell a great selection of lamb at a reasonable price. Only down side, sometimes their fruit and veggies look rough, but still have a great selection to choose from. read more

I enjoy shopping at Publix but just don't do it on a regular basis as it is too expensive for my budget. I do go there when they have bogo sales. Today, I stopped by and couldn't find the bottled water for some reason. The crazy thing was there were no employees on the floor that I could ask!
