OMG, this place is huge! I work close to this Publix. It's a great thing that there is a big free parking lot for the entire shopping center, because this area's always busy! Publix is Publix. It is a step above Kroger in overall quality, but Publix is also more expensive. I normally would not eat in a Publix, mainly because most of them don't have any tables inside, but also because there aren't many choices for ready to eat food. However, this Publix is the exception. Besides the usual fried chicken, wings and other fried items and hot side dishes, deli where a Publix employee will make sandwiches for you, customers can also get freshly cooked pizzas and buy them by the slice, In the hot food area, employees can put together bowls of hot Mexican food, or bowls of Asian food. There's also a salad bar where customers can build their own salads, and serve themselves bowls of hot soup. There is a small indoor dining area, and an outdoor patio where customers can sit and enjoy their food. Lastly, there is a bar where employees can serve beer, wine, healthy drinks and other types of drinks. This Publix also has everything else that other Publix stores sell. Enjoy! read more

I was staying at a nearby hotel and walked over to pick up some breakfast items, lunch and sodas for my room. They have an excellent selection of hot and cold prepared food which made it hard to decide on lunch. I decided on a chicken salad with sesame dressing and it was quite good. They had a nice produce selection and I was able to get everything I needed without trouble. Checkout lines were short and moved quickly. This is definitely a great option for a quick stop, but also clearly has a great selection if you need to make a full shopping trip! read more

I finally got to come to the famous Publix. I just happened to be in the area and needed to go to publix. So I stopped in here. I didn't order a drink because I'd already gotten one from where I was previously, but they definitely have a great mix of options for drinks and I feel like they're Deli area is much bigger than most publix. otherwise its just like any other Publix, you would go to so I definitely would consider stopping here again to check out what they have to drink for their smoothies and their coffee. read more

I love this Publix location! It's renovated and gives *almost* Whole Foods vibes. There's a salad bar, soup bar, pasta and pizza station, burrito and enchilada station, sushi and ramen station, and even a popcorn area! They keep it clean and organized, and the staff is kind and helpful. Sometimes, my fiancé and I will dine in at the bar/café area with our sushi ($5 on Wednesdays!) or our "Pub Subs." Enjoyable shopping experience at the new Publix! This Publix has pours, hot bars, dining seating and more! Located at piedmont and Peachtree the plaza has ample Parking as there is also an LA Fitness, Marshall's, restaurants, salons and more. The revamp has been great! You can now have hot foods from the hot bar, or try the burrito station, pizza station and more with new prepared food options. There's tv to watch the game while you eat or wait for someone to finish shopping. They even have specials. Everyone was friendly as usual and the store was easy to navigate. read more

I happened to be in the area and needed deli meat. I have very fond memories of Disco Kroger. Going there before heading next door to Ruperts to party the night away. But I digress. So I went to the deli counter. The young man that waited on me was very nice at first. But something kept ringing up with the wrong amount. I told him repeatedly that the price was wrong. His answer was that if that's what rung up 9n the scale that's what I pay. What? That ain't how it works. I asked for the manager and he just walked away. I asked another associate and they got the manager. She told him he had been putting in the wrong number. He shrugged and walked away. Yes Fernando it was you. I got my stuff and walked away. Flustered. I then decided I wanted some crab legs. Well the fishmonger there was so freaking fantastic it turned what had happened earlier all the way around. I didn't get his name. He was a middle aged black guy. The nicest. He's the reason for 4 stars. The store was very clean and new. If I'm up that way I'll come back. Maybe I'll look for another deli associate though. read more

This new Disco Publix that took over the Disco Kroger space is unlike any other. We went the first week it was open on a weekend and it was crowded! Parking was hard to come by and there were lines for everything. That said, we found parking within 5 minutes after circling and checked out all the food stations inside. I loved that you could enter your Publix number and pay at the front for all except the Acai stand. They had a buffalo wing bar that was by the pound or certain prices for a set number of wings. This had lots of variety. There was also a pasta bar that had lots of options and this line was long. It also took about 10 minutes to get your food after ordering. The most unique thing was the popcorn station, where they were popping fresh popcorn and had flavors you could make it. The acai stand was great and so reasonably priced. They only had containers for the small size on this day, but will have both options at some point. This is a great stop for food for everyone in your group that will only get better! read more

This Publix replaced the Disco Kroger and I like it. I hadn't been to the new store until last week. All of the products and shelves are very neat. I did not see one item out of place while I was shopping. The staff was very helpful because some of the items were in different locations than other Publix stores I have visited in the metro. I like how wide the aisles were. The first floor has a coffee bar. There is a small seating area on the second floor with tables and chairs. read more

We came on January 22, 2025 during the winter storm, lol. It was a cold Wednesday afternoon. There was NO traffic and we were seated immediately! And we got to park in the front lot too! Inside, they play vibrant music from the 2000's. It felt so nostalgic. The food was delicious! Came out hot and tasty. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the new Publix that has taken its place. The store is spacious and offers something for everyone, from salads to gourmet popcorn. Since I waited a while before visiting, the store was not overly crowded, allowing me to explore the aisles filled with a variety of foods. This is the new Publix store in Atlanta. They were different from any Publix that I have been in. They had a area with items like nachos and burritos on one side, with other hot items in a separate section like fried fish and shrimp plates included there. Walked through the store to discover nice biscuit items as well. The place was very well put together. They also had a popcorn section. The workers were all very nice and asked us to return. Do NOT order sushi here. The worker circled in the picture was very rude and didn't want to serve me. I asked for the custom poke bowl and he tried to act like they didn't make those even though I've ordered them before. He then tries to shortchange me on the protein in my bowl. I ordered the bowl that comes with 4oz of protein and he grabs a pinch of protein to put in the bowl. I let him know that that isn't 4oz and he argues with me calling me a liar. I then get his supervisor and they weigh the protein and it was 1.5oz. I knew what I was talking about. Will not order from here again. The rude entitled worker got a slap on the wrist. The store manager said he could do nothing because the sushi workers work for an agency, but they still represent Publix so it's a reflection of your business. This is a brand new Publix that took over Disco Kroger! This is a new concept Publix has started to roll out. This location is the fourth location in the country to have a tex-mex station, popcorn station, pizza and pasta bar, wings, smoothie/smoothie bowls station, and much more!! charisse working at the beverage counter was extremely rude and dismissive. i asked for a vanilla cold brew with salted caramel cold foam and extra creamer VERBATIM. she makes my drink w/o the cold foam. i ask her again for cold foam to which she responds "you said a whole lot so i didn't hear that" like is you cool?! then she pulls an unmarked box from the cooler and asks me to drink some off the top to make room. i didn't intend on chugging half my drink so i ask for a cup to which she stares at me before grabbing one with attitude. then i ask to confirm that it was salted caramel flavored, she responds with "ain't that what you asked for" with even MORE attitude...unbelievable. needless to say, i won't be returning and i'll stick with starbucks next time read more

This Publix is unique for the area in that it has additional made-to-order food options compared to a typical Publix. This would be a great location to come to for to-go lunch options! They even have a wine and beer bar should you choose to stay and eat your food in house. read more

It is absolutely what you have been hearing. Clean store with many features for everyone. Wine bar ( I had a very robust mimosa), sushi/ramen station. Salad bar/Soup bar/ WING BAR . Specialty popcorn, bakery samples, burrito bowel station and standard deli service!!! The store is clean. There is a full service pharmacy available on the left hand side. One side is the grocery side and one side is more of a food court! You can purchase your food from the food court section and go eat in the above common area before/after you shop! We browsed the produce and meats. Everything looked wonderfully fresh, especially the beef cuts! They really have thought of everything at this location. Do not hesitate to visit! This Publix is a sight to see! A large complex with a cool cafe & bar with hot beverages and happy hour for cocktails on certain days. They have a full variety of foods in the Hot Bar where you purchase by the pound. What's unique is the Popcorn Station where you can taste and purchase different flavors of popcorn! It's like combining Whole Foods & Publix into one Mega Store! We love it for our neighborhood! read more

This is specific to the pharmacy. The store itself is nice. But the pharmacy is the worst customer service of any pharmacy I can remember. On three separate occasions they were rude, unhelpful, and even refused service. I will not be back. Go somewhere else for your pharmacy needs. read more
