I went to buy a vacuum and found one I liked for $149 as the sticker said. When The team lead Terrance came over he was very rude and told me he didn't care what the sticker said the vacuum was $199 because there was another sticker. I've attached pics. It felt like he was trying to rip me off. I asked for a manager upfront and was kept waiting for 15 minutes. No one show'd and we left. In the pics you can see they are you the same but was told I have to pay the larger amount.

This is what happens when you start watching cooking shows and have nothing on the fridge.

This location had one poor lady doing layaway and pick up on a Saturday night. Entirely too busy for this store to have no help knowing you advertise this service. I will never use this at this location again. I rather drive all the way to Peachtree City. The worker apologized repeatedly and was very pleasant despite her having absolutely no help. I waited an hour to get my stuff not because there was a line but because the people ahead of me had a huge tv they could not locate. A crying shame. The store was a disaster area across from the money center. Stuff was everywhere like a tornado hit it. The handicap hover arounda are out dated for a new store. Never charged amd no power steering. Please get he kind that the other locations have with power steering. These clunkers are hard to maneuver in a crowded store and you don't have enough.

On top of that, I was running out of time because my wedding was just under 6 weeks away! When I scheduled an appointment with Bespokuture after checking out some of their work on their website, I was blessed with K'lynn, who was a true pleasure to work with and a savior, helping me complete my vision for my wedding day look. I live all the way in Hawaii, and so we did everything via Zoom meetings. K'lynn helped me with every little detail, explained things to me I wasn't familiar with, and constantly kept up with me a few times a week for tweaks and updates. We had one issue with custom ties, that got mixed up and sent to me as custom bow ties, but they fully refunded me for this error and it was actually a mishap from the manufacturer of their ties, Bespokuture put the order in correctly. Having had custom made suits and ties done on a few occasions before, I want to express that with anybody, mistakes and issues WILL happen, but you judge someone on the response and actions taken to remedy a situation. I applaud this company especially because of the short time frame they had to make this happen and were still more than happy to take this challenge on and got it done and sent to me 3 days before my wedding. Bespokuture showed their professionalism, quality, and reliability with this transaction. And I am forever appreciative of them for taking on my order/requests in basically a 5-week turnaround window. We had a very narrow gap for errors, and they created my suit, and it fit me amazingly . Thank you again, and my next custom suit will be another Bespokuture masterpiece.

I've been to The Beacon Atlanta a few times now and I've enjoyed my visits each time. This is a…read morerelatively new development on the southern tip of Grant Park. Warehouses have been repurposed into retail, dining, offices, studios, and more. I'd call it mixed-use, but I don't believe there are technically any residences on The Beacon property. It's all commercial. There are, however, new condominiums located just across the street (Pratt Stacks by The Providence Group). Curbed described this place as "the adaptive-reuse district." In general, like any new development, The Beacon is nice. It's clean and modern with attractive storefronts and patios, good landscaping, sidewalks, and benches. There's free parking too. During peak times, the lots can get crowded, but it's not a problem because there's plenty of free parking on the neighborhood streets. What sets The Beacon apart from other developments in metro Atlanta is its tenants aren't cookie-cutter. Most of the businesses here, as far as I can tell, are local. No chains. The development fits in with the neighborhood. Trendy, eclectic, colorful, vibrant. The buildings, paint, artwork, murals, lights, and The Beacon's "B" tower all look cool and beautiful. I'm not exactly sure when The Beacon officially opened, but the project was first announced in 2016 and businesses were open by 2018. My first visit was in January 2019 for a Yelp event at Pin & Proper: https://www.yelp.com/biz/yee-the-yelpies-2018-pin-and-proper-atlanta. Pin & Proper is a bar that has a unique game called pinfall, a combination of bowling, cornhole, and football. It's fun. I met the owners, Lauren and Chaise Hughes, and they were really friendly and welcoming. I made subsequent visits to The Beacon in 2020 and 2021 for restaurants Hotto Hotto Ramen & Teppanyaki (https://www.yelp.com/biz/hotto-hotto-ramen-and-teppanyaki-atlanta) and Buteco (https://www.yelp.com/biz/buteco-atlanta) as well as for the Grant Park Farmers Market (https://www.yelp.com/biz/grant-park-farmers-market-atlanta). Hotto Hotto has a really large and inviting space with a neat indoor-outdoor bar. Buteco is a small bar and cafe that has a hip patio, live music, and a food truck that serves outstanding Brazilian street food. The renowned Grant Park Farmers Market, which has been around since 2011, currently operates every Sunday, 9am to 1pm, across Grant Street from The Beacon.

We had a great conversation about Atlanta, its arts scene, development around town, etc. Since my job (and artwork) was so small, he offered to save me some money by using leftover pieces of a high-quality archival mat board. Very helpful. We discussed that one mat in particular was to be given as a gift that Sunday to a visiting relative, and he assured me it would be ready for pickup by Friday or Saturday at the latest. Sadly, no call until the following Wednesday. Minus one star. The mats all look great, but the way they were done really shocked me: we discussed the artwork being hinged to the back matboard. I've only seen it done this way with the front mat window hinged at the top to the back mat, so that you can lift the front window and see the artwork attached to the back mat with photo corners. What I received was the artwork completely sealed between the two pieces of matboard. Like, permanently sandwiched and trapped between the front window and the back piece of matboard. Which means I can only re-frame the artwork into another frame of exactly the same size. And if anything happens to the matboard, the artwork would have to be rescued with an exacto knife, thereby cutting the original artwork to the size of the mat window. Is this a technique others have used or even heard of? Like I said, it looks good, but I believe all 3 pieces of original artwork were, for all archival intents and purposes, destroyed in this process. So minus one more star for this--?? It leaves me quite freaked out. I'm interested in re-framing them to get better UV protection, which is why this is coming up now. Wish I'd written this earlier to warn others, but better late and damaging than never, I guess???
