Need better service on the subs, 30 minutes wait, I rather go to MacDonald. There's no way it takes 30 freaking minutes to make a damn sub.

Their pickup service is amazing! I ordered a few things and didn't feel like going inside so I chose to pickup. As soon as my order was ready I pulled into one of their pickup parking spaces and waited for just two minutes. The store manager, Austin, was very kind and very helpful when he explained to me he needed to run back inside for part of my order. The fruit I ordered was fresh and wasnt brown at all. We've been shopping at this location for over 10 years and always get good service. Currently during the covid-19 crisis they are doing well. The store is being restocked and most items look to be in stock. We just came in for it ice cream and a cake and there were plenty of choices. The store was somewhat busy but people were practicing social distancing fairly well. The only problem was there were a lot of people waiting to check out and work holding distance the front of the store seemed clogged up even though there were plenty of registers open. read more

Rating: 4 stars, I generally have good experiences and find what I need in a clean environment. I have been shopping here for years and, as of late, I have been shopping here a lot more often. For what I am looking for, I am having better luck finding things here than other grocery stores. The employees are generally friendly, attentive, and helpful. When I've had issues or needed to make exchanges and returns, it's been fairly easy. The store itself, for me, has been pretty accessible when I'm using my wheelchair. Being visually impaired, I sometimes struggle with finding what I need, but Publix has had good organisation and even if I can't find something, again, getting help is usually pretty easy. Overall, I've had good experiences. And I'm going to continue shoe shop here. read more

Like most Publix Supermarkets, this one is extremely clean and organized. The customer service here is phenomenal; I don't think I've seen one employee without a smile on their face. There's always a line open which makes for a fast check-out. The deli department at this Publix is also terrific. I've always been a big fan of a sub from Publix and this store always delivers me the perfect one! Yes, Publix is more expensive than other grocery chains; but, I'd rather pay a little more and have great service in a clean store rather than the alternative. read more

One of the things I like best about living here is having this Publix within one mile of us. So convenient to just run in and out for those times I forgot something for a dish I'm cooking at the moment. Also a pleasant place to do my weekly grocery shopping. I can't say enough about the people who work here, the're always super helpful and friendly. The one we used to live near on 192 in Clermont was better at keeping the hot deli section stocked with rotisserie chickens and wings, but I'm still so very grateful to have this Publix nearby. read more

I'm from Wisconsin where we don't have Publix and let me tell you, I make a NOTE of stopping at a Publix anytime I'm traveling in an area that has them for a delicious Boar's Head sub. This is an excellent grocery store, overall. My complaint is with the Deli online ordering for their subs. I had tried once before and was disappointed, but decided to have another go at it. I arrived at the designated time, and it was not in the pickup case. I then stood in queue at the counter, where the other sandwiches were being made. Once I reached the counter, the employees there walked away quickly to do other things. After waiting a few moments longer the manager asked if I had been helped. When I explained I had placed an online sub order, he asked had I looked in the case and offered to make it at that time. I said no thank you. Why offer online ordering if I'm still required to stand there and place the order and wait? read more

Vacationing and use Publix's when we can. This place was great. We don't have Publix in Michigan but stopped here while on vacation. Place is clean Staff is friendly Food was fresh On thing my wife loved about this place it that they take the groceries out to your car for you. not sure if this is a normal thing or the guys were trying to pick up my wife? The highway was back up so I decided to get off the road and swing by Publix for a sub-to-go. Immediately upon entering Daniel was there with a smile and asked if I needed a cart. Thanks, Daniel! Hungry and tired, I went to the deli and was greeted by Yvette, what a pleasant experience --- Yvette made my sandwich as if she was making her own. She took the time to make sure it was perfect and even produced some mushrooms when I asked if they might have some for my steak and cheese. I didn't get to thank her in person, as I enjoyed it at home, but it was top notch and one of the best sandwiches I'd had in some time. He even let me know that I can call ahead with a ballon order, which extremely helpful since I have plenty of birthdays coming up. I'll definitely choose this Publix over any other. They have everything I need. This store is bigger. Than most stores. I used to go to the one near the heart of Florida hospital. They stopped caring this I needed. This store on sand mine rd is the best. I go and they take good care of me. I am disabled. read more

While there is always a Publix almost 5 miles from another Publix I prefer going to this one. The store is very clean and the staff in all departments are friendly. If I ever have a hard time finding something, a staff member whether it's a stock boy or a manager, will always walk me right to the item. The ladies who work the deli in the afternoon are always very sweet. I prefer shopping at Publix because they do great buy one get one free options, their produce is always fresh and they have better quality meat items than other stores in the area. read more

The store manager Reggie at the Publix in Live Oak, Florida is the best! I was working with the deli on several trays of food for a birthday party and I live 3 1/2 hours away from that store. Reggie and the deli manager Tikara were very helpful and patient and kind when we picked up the trays and needed their help. Even the woman who took my order for the trays on New Years Eve was just as nice as she could be! Very thorough and very obliging. The world needs more people like the people at the Live Oak Publix! I will shop there every time I am in Love Oak visiting my family. read more

It's your typical Publix. My only complaint about this one is the meat department. It's smaller then the other two in the area. The cuts of meat are little on the thin side and lacks really much of a variety. Avoid this Publix on Sunday afternoons. Unless you would like to shop with what seems to be the whole United Kingdom. read more

I just went to this Publix for a sub and flatbread. The sub: asked for mustard never got it. Asked for boarshead Munster cheese, I got Publix cheese. The tomatoes were see through. The flatbread: this was actually good, she put extra veggies and cheese. Won't return to the deli. read more

I love Publix & so wish we had them in Texas ! We rented a house nearby for a week during our family vacation & boy did we wear this place out ! My husband used to live in Atlanta & always raved about this place & now I am converted. LOL. I love their house brands & the Deli items are always great. We hosted events at the house throughout the week & always had what we needed & more. I went in with a list & always came out with a bunch of extra stuff, LOL. I'm such a frequent flyer here that the cashiers have actually reminded me of items I forgot to get!!! No kidding!! Haha, I don't know if that's a good or bad thing. The local chain supermarkets.. It's much much clearer then newyork ones. The aisles are wider and shelfs are well stocked. The employees are nice and friendly.. Super helpful! the managers faces are all posted in the front.. There is a guest relations desk to help make it even more pleasing if needed as if your in a theme park? It did lack a lot of fresh produce in the section. The produces are limited.. Small buckets with little things to pick from. Made me feel as if fresh produce isn't a big section for the locals to buy. read more

Update: still the same! I know of a case of an 80-year old lady that slipped on a recently mopped floor at the Berry Town Mall Publix off Sand Mine Rd. The lady was sent to Lakeland instead of been driven to the local Celebration's hospital. The trip took almost 55 minutes by ambulance. Why? Because the Lakeland Hospital is owned by Publix. When the sheriff went to Berry Town off Sand Mine Rd., the video tape of the camera was gone (they claimed it was a dummy camera) and the cleaning lady was nowhere to be found. I went after that to see if things had changed in general. Everybody remains rude and flaky. They talk in-between teeth. It is bizarre! If you want to save money and had less aggravations go to Walmart at Four Corners. Articles that are "on sale" at Publix are up to half price less at Walmart. Believe me, I switched and I saved. It is literally a one-stop shop. read more

This location has very bad Management. Despite the fact they have a big sign in customer service if you are not satisfied with any product they will give your money back. But if the Manager gets involved in a return he or she will give you a hard time making the return. This locations cooked food that they make like Fried Chicken, soups or seafood if you ask them to steam it is really bad. I have gotten sick on many of these items from this location numerous times and it is so bad I have most of it left to return. The Managers treat me like I am doing something wrong and say we are going to give your money back now but we normally do not do this and imply despite the big sign they guarantee the food or item that they might not honor their guarantee with me again. This is discrimination and bad business. I do not recommend this location. Update: This location has gotten even worse. Like big brother watching you every second at this location. While in the store I was thirsty and wanted to drink like a 12 ounce mixed Pineapple drink while I was walking around the store buying things. It was so sour I felt my throat closing up after drinking just a little of it. On check out I told the cashier this, but then along came this Black Manager in like a purple or similar color shirt who I told again what happened. To my shock after telling him I almost had a medical emergency because this drink was starting to make my throat close up, that I had to pay for the drink! I said according to your big store Guarantee I could return it. He then had the nerve to say you are stealing from the store! I told him I have been spending about $40.00 a day at the store. He was getting really angry at me like he was going to assault me and I said if you take a punch at me I will sue the store! Then a female manager came by and said I do not have to pay for this drink. I paid for the rest of my things I had in my cart like usual and left. I have always shopped at Publix and not even bothered with other competitors (because they are awesome!). The store is very clean and organized. I love that they do different BOGO deals every week. I have actually gotten to know a few of the employees there since they are all extremely friendly. The reason for the 4 stars and not 5 are two things. First, the check out lines are usually pretty long. There are 3 resorts within 3 minutes of the store, so we have a lot of tourist that shop there. Secondly, the online ordering for the subs never seems to work properly. It seems every time I order they don't "hear" the machine print the orders, and they don't make the subs until after I get there. Even when I do get them, the bread doesn't ever seem to be as good as ordering while your there. It's like they use a separate "make station" and use stale bread instead (just a thought). Today, I ordered at 11:49 am (2) half subs for my husband and I. He showed up, and didn't even walk out the store doors until almost 12:30. Just really disappointing. I will not stop shopping here because of the issues, but I will not be having lunch here for a while since I do not have an hour to waste getting my food.
