I'm happy to have a Publix so convenient to my home, however, we really need another one! I pretty sure this is the busiest Publix on the planet. It is always crowded! Check out lines are long. Parking is a nightmare and the store just cannot keep up. It would seem there are other Publix in the area, but if you've sat in traffic on 27 or 17 you know that even if the next Publix is only 5-6 miles away it is easily a 20+ minute drive to the next one. Seriously, Reunion, Champions Gate, Bella Citta, or Haines City are all going to take you 20 min or more. This is why this one is just so overwhelmed and not a pleasure to shop at anymore.

Service is always great and if there's something you need, you will always be able to get it just by asking. And for those I have no idea what Menudo is, it is a bowl of soup made from tripe that they cook for hours. And they serve it nice and spicy. To start for those people who obviously have never shopped at an Aldi, there aren't many name brands. But I can attest to the quality of their offerings, especially produce. And at times like these when prices are already high, Aldi does a good job of making those things you need like fruits, vegetable, eggs, meat and bread more affordable. To those people who got trauma from going to the supermarket, if you can afford it, maybe you should use one of those shopping apps. And this is not being insensitive, just giving options. I have never heard of anxiety of any kind from a supermarket visit, unless it has to do with the price you pay at checkout. But there is a first time for everything and I am grateful to have shared in your experience from your review and your perspective. As far as Aldi goes. I have never once had a bad experience. I have always been treated with dignity and respect, even the odd times when I have been there right before they close. The associates have always been helpful and there have been times when they have actually walked me to an item when I was unable to find it. I like this Aldi especially well because of the layout and the diverse offerings. So there is that. And if I have offended anyone by my comments, these are just my opinions based on my limited experience in this world. And if you are taking them that serious, then you are giving my words way more power than they deserve. Finally, Aldi is a great alternative in Florida to some of those more expensive chains. Trying to get any service at the deli counter is a joke. Everyone is busy doing what appears to be nothing, or talking non-stop with friends. Fruits and vegetable look like they got run over by a truck first. The store managers obviously have not a clue about how to get their employees to clean and work. DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE! The new store in Haines City is currently better, but they have a select crew and who knows how much longer they will be working there. Florida needs a real supermarket chain to move in and supply quality goods. Hopefully this will happen.

The level of detail and patience from the staff was amazing. We created a vision together and I was sure it was going to be executed well. Next, we picked up the cake. It wasn't at all what we were expecting. It was a regular, uninspiring cake with not so great execution. We weren't thrilled with the final design, but we didn't have a choice. We were stuck with it. Then it came time to sing and cut the cake. This is when BJs did their thing. The cake was so moist and delicious. We got so many compliments on how great the cake tasted. People loved the half chocolate, half vanilla option and the icing was perfectly balanced for sweetness. I would 100% order a birthday cake from them again, but I would just go with a traditional cake without the custom design expectation. I would argue, it was better AND MUCH CHEAPER than Publix.

First time shopping here after getting a $15 holiday membership. Upon arrival we had to wait 25…read moreminutes in line, with only 5 people (high maintenance I suppose) ahead of us, with 3 (in the beginning) working the counter. Of course they tried to get us to upgrade, which was a hard NO (thank you). We want to check it out first, already having both Costco and Sam's Club memberships. We cruised the entire store and were impressed with the variety they have. We ended up leaving there $300 poorer, which seems to be standard at these Club warehouses. We purchased several items we normally buy at the other warehouses, to compare quality. We went through a regular checkout stand, due to having a full cart. Some, not all, items were a little less than other places. The few employees we interacted with were cordial and helpful. Overall this was an okay first visit, albeit the ingress and especially the egress to this entire shopping district is a nightmare. We will return throughout our annual yearly membership and I'll upgrade (or downgrade) my review of I see fit.
