There are many groceries stores that suck. This is just a notch above that. The parking lot is a nightmare even though it's quite large. You gotta dip and dodge and hope you don't have to walk 16 minutes from the edge of the parking lot to enter. Once inside it's pretty easy to navigate. There's always a line at the deli which is located at the front right part of the store but the other aisle are always pretty clear. On the right side you have a great selection of produce and it's super spacious. I always head to this spot first. Then there's the meat section behind that on the back wall. Then you have your aisles of foods and groceries and home products. Finally on the left hand side you have your frozen items, dairy in the back left, wine and beer in the front on the left. It's been six long months but finally my JERK WINGS ARE BACK!!!! Although it did say "limited edition" on the container and they were a bit dry, Football season is around the corner and I hope my Jerk Wings are here to stay!! Lets be honest and lets be fair, those Jerk Chicken Thighs and Legs: -pay by the PIECE are just not it. On Another Note: Im Missing the Manager "Shibu". He was often present, bagging groceries if needed etc.... These days each time I go in for a grocery run, I feel the void. Shopping carts are few and far between during the after work rush. The customer service desk needs more help and the wait alone for a sub-sandwich makes you a warrior! Truly, as a die-hard "Publix Girl", I just believe shopping should always be a pleasure! Undoubtedly, this is a busy store and if there is not a new Publix coming soon to relieve the customer growth then at the very least this store would truly benefit from focusing on workflow efficiency. I usually like shopping at Publix, but this last experience was honestly frustrating. I ordered a sub and ended up waiting almost 2 hours for it. What made it worse was watching multiple people who ordered after me get their subs way before I did. I totally understand that it gets busy, especially around lunch/dinner time, and I'm patient -- but there didn't seem to be any organization or communication about delays. No one updated me, and I had to keep checking back to see what was going on. The staff didn't seem rude, just overwhelmed, but waiting that long for a sub without any explanation isn't acceptable. I really hope management works on improving the system because I usually expect better from Publix. read more

This is a Publix from the neighborhood I was raised in. Some things has changed, but I love Publix and I needed to come here for flowers, and food for one of my classmates who passed away, Wake. I picked up chicken, potato salad, desserts, and drinks. They were fast paced here when ordering large orders of chicken. The deli was really clean and well organized. Never fails. Everytime I order a sub online and get to the store when I get the email saying its ready for pickup, IT IS NEVER READY OR EVEN MADE. This location is less than a mile away from my home which is why I prefer to pick up my subs nearby. I just give up now. Next time I'll have to choose another location to have my subs made. read more

Stopped by this publix to do an a return but ended up making a turn to the Kombucha aisle. This publix is always stocked with good flavors. This location is always PACKED and you will have to fight for parking. Waiting in the customer service line for 20 minutes just to do a return, ended up paying for the kombucha and doing my return at another location. read more

Today was absolutely horrid the only associate making the subs is worse than a turtle she's rude and doesn't know how to prioritize. I had to wait in line 20 mins for a sub that took maybe 5 minutes to put together on my lunch break and I couldn't enjoy it due to the ridiculous amount of time it took what makes it even worse she's the department manager with a horrible attitude. Don't restock the vase on my time at least wait until you've served your customers.she was combative and unpleasant to me even threw my subs on the counter and called the next guest. I come to this location frequently but honestly the customer service here has gradually worsened. Most recent instance, I come in at 7:40am to order a few tender subs in addition to the usual $100+ in groceries and I was told that there won't be any until 9:00am by a deli rep with an unwelcoming tone. I find I very hard to believe it takes two hours to cook chicken..I don't mind paying for the overpriced groceries as long as I get great customer service but since that doesn't exist here I'll be strictly spending my money at Walmart..that should speak volumes to the leadership at Publix in regards to this location read more

This publix has very, very fresh sushi and many different types of rolls compared to the other locations I usually frequent. The only downside is that I wish they would put extra Gari inside the case or Extra in cups to purchase because the amount they put inside are not enough. I wouldn't recommend going here for the Deli section due to the fact it is usually packed and very unorganized. read more

Well as much as I shop at Publix, I should purchase a few shares of stocks huh.. Might not be a bad idea. For starters, I personally think Walmart and Winn Dixie is cheaper than Publix.. However, quality can't be compared. I WILL NOT purchase fruit from ANYWHERE else. Always fresh and always ripe. Unlike Walmart where flies are constantly flying around in the produce section. The deli is my absolute favorite part of the store.. That bread and thinly sliced lunch meat is always fresh and delish. The overall store is always well kept and clean. The shelves are stocked nice and neat and I'm always being asked if I need help. Kinda pricey but def worth every penny!!! read more

This is my local Publix and I personally haven't had encountered any issues. It's really convenient and in the same plaza as some other good places to shop like Dollar Tree, Rainbow, there's a Little Ceasers and etc. Usually I just go for subs (prefer Italian or Ultimate with Boars head but Publix brand is just as good) birthday cakes, money orders or quick picks. Although this one is the closest I prefer the one in the Sky lake Plaza closest to my daughters school. It's bigger, looks nicer, managers and workers are more friendly than this one. There is a sign next to the exit that says something to this effect: "We will never knowingly dissapoint you. Please contact the manager with any complaints." They know there is a problem and they are working on it. The service from the employees has improved but there are still not enough baggers. And the customer service/ money transactions/ lotto women could smile more. They just looked depressed and so are therefore, depressing. Still a good selection, like at any Publix, and they do a neat job of arranging the weekly specials. The front of the store is different every time I come in. read more

Pros: most of the employees are really nice and I willing to greet you and help you out it's a clean store and there's always someone organizing something , it's near by Cons: Honestly a horrible publix because there is no variety at the bakery it is the worst bakery I've seen at a Publix there's no such thing as buying nice bread or cakes for company. Even the Entenmann's brand cakes are flipped upside down you can't even buy a cake from that brand because someone always ruins it at this store. there's no variety at the deli in terms of premade food or any soups or even if you're looking for a certain brand it seems like you can't find it it's always crowded even the 10 items or less line takes forever to get through and the customer service line is always crowded and mixed up as well. The meat department is also not that great it shouldn't be that hard to get ground beef or a steak but sometimes it's even possible to get something as simple as that or get it fresh Looking for a parking is also a disaster because it is very crowded I actually dread coming to the store just because of parking alone. One time I was doing a return and some young worker/manager blatantly lied to me about the return policy. And he kept me waiting. Going to the deli counter is a nightmare to make a sandwich it literally takes forever even if there are two people working there it takes a half hour just to get a sandwich made in front of you. The store a small crowded noisy nerve-racking the parking is terrible everything takes forever and there's no variety. I also hate the prices The fact that everything cost twice or three times as much I hate going to Walmart as well but it is a lot cheaper than publix. Since recently moving to the area this has been my new Publix. My main Publix was always downtown at 17th and Biscayne. I have to say this is a fairly steady downgrade. Its not the store as much as the clientele and the lack of experience with them. I always seem to be stuck behind people who want to negotiate their bill and question every item. The other day a woman had about 40 coupons and handed them to a cashier one by one. If it wasnt valid she would go through the bags and return the item. I know its technically not the stores fault, but open up extra registers or allow others to go around if thats the type of customer you typically have. I am ALWAYS waiting in line there. I would avoid this if there was another Publix in close proximity. read more

The store is fine but the deli has the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! Not only are they short of staff but when you have an issue and ask to speak to the deli manager she doesn't help the situation none whatsoever. Quality of their produce are horrible. Barely carry any organic produce and the few they do have is usually rotten and moldy. I used to shop twice a week here. Never again will I come back unless I need milk and that would be the only thing I would get. Extremely disappointed! read more

I want to start this review by saying that I'm a big fan of Publix, however this comment is directed at the Deli department. This is not the first time this has happened, I'm very reasonable and flexible and believe that at times things can go wrong. However multiple times it has happened where I'll order online and show up at the time of pick only to find out that my order was not made. The excuse I've been given every time is that someone else "stole" my order... the employees uninterested in helping and prioritizing the order that now I'm waiting for about 40 minutes after the pick up time, all the while other customers that get their before me are being attended to without an issue as it should. It was a waste of my time which I value and I'm sure readers of this comment value as well. My suggestion is to not order online at this Publix and to avoid it at all cost since they have an issue with theft. read more

this is my primary Publix and i don't recall ever having a problem whenever i visit. the staff members, both young or old are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about their products. and whenever i need an obscure item on my shopping list, a manager is always available on the sales floor to help me. a couple nights ago after work, i stopped by craving one of their yummy roast beef subs and even though the deli was closed and the employees were cleaning up everything, gabrielle, one of the chicks at the deli, went in the back to pull out the ingredients and made me my sub. other posters are wrong, this store is great. true, the customer service wasn't the best a few years ago, but it's really made a turn for the better. read more

This location always packed and the cashiers always looked so depressed. On the deli side, they seem as they are always more than happy to assist you. I love publix subs! You can conviniently order online and pick up at the exact same time you orders for! The bakery side is always one of my favorites. The birthday cakes are awesome! The fruit at publix is always so fresh and nicely displayed. They always have items in stock just don't ask anyone to help you find something because no one there will help! read more
