On Saturday, April 25, 2026, I purchased beef ribs at Key Food for $55. The meat was weighed at 5.5 pounds before I asked the employee to cut it. When it was returned to me, something told me to reweigh it--and it was only 4 pounds. About 1.5 pounds of ribs were missing. When I confronted the employee, he claimed the missing portion was "fat," which was not true; it was clearly ribs. I then spoke to the store manager, who was unprofessional, dismissive, and more focused on his cellphone than on resolving the issue. I left the store extremely disappointed and concerned about how often customers may be overcharged or shorted. This experience has completely broken my trust in this store. I stopped here when I was in the area recently. I needed a few things and since I was never here, I was curious what the store was all about. We'll, it is a regular supermarket. They get very crowded so the parking situation can be a little difficult. I found their fruits and vegetables to be fresh. They had a wide variety of shelf stable goods and I bought several different items. They also have unique brands of ice cream. I was able to find everything I needed quickly, even with not being g familiar with the store layout. The cashier was friendly. Key Food has quickly become my favorite supermarket. The organization, helpful attitude from employees and great quality I've found here will be difficult to beat. The first few times I came here was just to pick some fresh flowers (the roses are absolutely beautiful), however on one of my most recent trips I ventured into the fruit & veggie section... and woww! As someone who loves to explore and try new things, I'm excited to try all the new varieties of fruits and vegetables I have found here. They have an open refrigeration section with a combination of KeyFood brand desserts, pastries, etc as well as some from known companies. Nearby is the bread section that aside from having packaged rolls & baguettes, it has a small machine that makes fresh bread rolls. Seriously, I find that so cool! It's a Latin supermarket so you find all the wonderful things you usually do at a grocery store and more. It's nothing fancy from outside, but a gem inside. Careful in the parking area, it can get a bit hectic so it's not a bad idea to park away from the front entrance. read more

I found it strange when I couldn't check-in on Yelp, but then I realized why after I made my purchase and looked at the receipt. The supermarket was no longer Bravo, it's named Key Food Fresh now. The layout of the supermarket is still the same...clean organized aisles, a large variety of American, Hispanic, and Caribbean items at reasonable prices, fresh selections at the meat and seafood department, fresh fruits & vegetables, and an area where you can get cooked latin dishes. In an effort not to make my spot too crowded lol I will say this: You will SAVE money here shopping for groceries and actually have amazing options! Their meat and produce selection alone will cut your spending by a third for what you may get at publix. So happy to have found this store! We will only visit Publix for a few snack options not available for our picky toddler. read more

Be careful when parking because a lot of the customers will hit your car and keep it moving or intentionally attempt to get into an accident. A guy was backing up at full speed then had the nerves to continue (instead of hauling) when the right in the right of way was moving forward. He didn't care. Seemed like he was looking for a an insurance claim. I purchased groceries here and when I got home I was surprised to see that my 1/2 dozen carton of eggs were actually 5. Like who sells 5 eggs? Also, I purchased food from the deli and the veggies were grainy as if they had dirt in them and wasn't washed properly. I asked for a lunch chicken meal and was charged for dinner. The color of the chicken (meal) looked questionable. Be careful when buying habanero peppers in the pack because they're mixed with peppers that have mold in them. You get what you pay for. I rather shop elsewhere because the price I paid for groceries weren't cheap. I rather pay for fresh produce. read more

A good Friend of mine told me about this new supermarket. It is new to the area. I was told they made really good natural fresh juices right in front of you. I actually didn't try them this time. I did see the stand but decided to checkout the place instead. The market is very clean and well organized. It smells neutral. It had some unusual items to me that I am going to google first and probably buy later. Like carrot soap. That was interesting. I had not seen that before and other stuff. I like trying new things. The checkout experience was a good one. They had a person directing people to open registers. It was fast and smooth. The cashier was welcoming and friendly. She greeted me. That made my day. It's the little things that make a big difference when shopping. I ended up buying flavored water and cuban bread. The bread tasted freshly baked and good. I was happy. The water was good. read more

The manager Jose Luis is not accommodating and if there is something priced incorrectly they would honor it, instead he takes it away and says "I'm not letting you purchase this". Very upsetting to try and shop and then not be allowed to solidify a purchase because of their own error. Isn't a manager supposed to try and retain and keep their customers happy? read more
