Not only have they been here for well over 18 years, I've personally shopped here for at least 15. They're an awesome grocery store that carries all sorts of delicious things. Being right down the road, I come here whenever I'm looking for quality products that I won't second guess buying. With convenient business hours, an easy location to access, plenty of parking & staffed with solid employees, it's a great place to shop. While it should be noted that some products are more pricey than the standard grocery store, I have no problem paying a little extra for better quality. Whether you're looking for great cuts of meat, delicious burgers, fresh seafood or ripe fruits & vegetables then this is the place for you. Maybe not all locations are the same but this one is & has always been consistent. Even their bakery section is on point with serving freshly prepared items & keeping the display cases filled with all sorts of treats. I love their croissants, they're just the right amount of flakey & have a slight butteriness to them. Being a huge coffee fan, I turn to FM almost exclusively to restock nowadays. Every time I walk to the coffee section I love seeing the rows of barrels filled with beans. They carry both non-flavored & flavored while offering at least 10 of each to choose from. There's also a handful of decaf selections. I find joy in looking through the options, smelling the differences & being able to grind it up right there; doesn't get much fresher than that. It's also cool that you can get as little or as much as you want & it's super cheap. The employees are helpful & friendly. It's nice that the store is kept tidy & you'll see them actively cleaning. They run deals often & if you sign up to be a member you can get discounts. This is one of my favorite grocery stores in the area for sure. read more

This has become a favorite of mine. On Thursdays they have a special meal deal of choosing one protein and 2 sides for $8. My husband and I have been going every Thursday the past month. The protein ranges from salmon, chicken breast, meatloaf, meatballs, and more. The sides include salads, potato salads, Mac & cheese and much more. It's always fresh and tasty. We have also had the turkey and apple Brie wrap. SOOOO GOOD. I I usually don't like fruits in my wraps or salads but the way the apple and Brie blend in together is something else. They also have a sushi special on Thursdays. Select sushi is $5. They didn't have the sushi I like and the person behind the counter prepared a roll similar to a shrimp tempura roll that I was craving. She was so pleasant and really made our day when she did that. The employees are very kind and helpful. A little on the pricey side for me, which is why I stick to the specials lol but I hope they continue their meal deal and sushi specials for a very long time. read more

My old review is gone and at this point, it is outdated. It makes me sad to write this because I appreciate good food and I love the European music and former shopping environment here. No other store came close to having anything even similar to the delightful environment they used to have. I stopped coming here about three months ago despite living nearby. Barri, the female lead cashier is awesome. So is the lady, about 5'3 with dark hair in the bakery, not the bakery manager. Otherwise, this store has gone so downhill, it is kind of scary. For years they have had Home Depot buckets around the store. Collecting water that has been leaking from the roof. I have had drips of water fall.on me, even when it is not raining outside. Just nasty! Not only do I dislike HD but I certainly do not want to see their buckets all over the store where I buy food! I mentioned this to the store manager and he said it isn't their fault. They were in a landlord dispute. Welll, maybe close this location until the situation is fixed. It feels like a health hazard. Even their hot and fresh pizza went downhill fast. It was so good the first time I bought it and the second and third time was not good at all. I will leave it at this because I really could go.on and on. I called corporate twice and never received a call back. I did like shopping here at one point but it is just a memory now. Sad. read more

Fresh Market has a lot to choose from. I like the quality of their fresh fruit. I also like their fresh seafood. I recently bought stew for beef three different times and was disappointed. It was very tough. Usually I don't have issues. It sort of ruined the meal, especially the first two times. I really enjoyed their almond and brownie pillow cookies. They are truly outstanding. Everything is their bakery is for the most part. I also like their sushi a lot. Barry (female cashier) is so very nice. She is pleasant and I enjoy chatting with her. I purchased 2 containers of small round microwavable potatoes that had seasoning packets. I couldn't find a Best Buy date on the container and couldn't see what the potatoes looked like but went ahead and bought them. We recently purchased these potatoes on Saturday and really liked them. I wanted my daughter to try them and was planning on making them tonight. The first container that I opened had potatoes that were starting to sprout. The second container had a rotten potato in it. I brought them back to the store, not knowing if they were like Publix. They were better than Publix and I was really impressed. I walked in and went to an available cashier. I told her that I had just bought them to make for dinner tonight and told her what was wrong with them. She apologized and rang up a credit. She called someone to her register to approve the return. I think he was a manager. He was apologetic as well and seemed very sincere. He told me that I could go in the back and get another one to try for free. I last reviewed The Fresh Market about 6 years ago and I'm glad to say that they still are offering up fresh, delicious food at reasonable prices. One of the best deals they have is called The Little Big Meal which can serve a family of four. Unbelievably it's still the same low price of $25 that it was 6 years ago. I really appreciate that they didn't raise the price of this meal. They offer great specials especially if you join their rewards club. My personal favorite at the store is their chicken salad. It's really delicious and it has just the right amount of celery and mayonnaise. I also love the different samples of coffee that they offer. Their meats and seafood are always fresh and there's always some kind of special going on. The bakery offers up all kinds of delicious breads, croissants, cakes, cookies and pastries. Their lemon pound cake is not to be missed! As part of the rewards program you receive a free slice of either chocolate cake or confetti cake for your birthday. They have a great selection of wines and on the weekend they usually have a few vendors offering samples of wine. Nice staff, always very friendly and helpful! read more

How have I never reviewed this place before? I loooooove The Fresh Market and need to come here more often. I love that they have unique and cool market items. Great spot for the foodie peeps who love to cook or want to find creative food gifts for friends/family. They have so many fresh food sections here including prepared foods, deli meat, cheese, bakery, bread and coffee. There is such a great variety of items that you can find here and not at your every day local grocery store like Publix, Trader Joe's or any of the other locations. I am constantly finding cool new food finds here. Also some bougie food items, maybe things you can find at Whole Foods but not as pricey. The service is always good. The cashiers or staff working behind the fresh food areas are pleasant. I love the floral section here too, it's the first thing you see when you walk in and it always makes me happy! Fantastic first venture to the 100% organic Fresh Market in Pembroke Pines and it did not disappoint. At first glance, I noticed several women with their pink dyed fluffy dogs sitting at the outside patio sipping their coffees and having lunch. As I entered the store, I was happily greeted by staff who were eager to assist. The aisles were clean and well stocked with an array of food sectors. The chicken is clearly described as "No Added Hormones" and "Antibiotic Free". The meat prices for organic foods are usually a few dollars more a pound but supposed to be healthier - True? Not sure... The fish looked vibrant and plump. They offer more than 100 varieties of organic produce with some from loyal local growers. The self-serve candy and nut aisle is like a separate store in itself, scoop out and weigh for the price per pound- love this concept. Oddly, there were large end racks with holiday cookies and treats from the United Kingdom. The best part of this big chain market is by far the huge barrels of fresh coffee beans emitting a delightful aroma providing full shot cup samples of two different flavors every day with a posted handwritten time of brewing. I had two full shots of the decaf French Vanilla and the Southern Pecan. They were both tasty but the nutty caramel flavor of the medium roast Pecan was truly a perfect blend. The coffee is for sale at $13.99 per pound. Always in the hunt for the best brew, but this place might be my new coffee hot spot. read more

We gave them a second chance after ruining our Thanksgiving last year by taking our order and money weeks in advance and running out of turkey and sides when we arrived to pick it up 7 hours before closing and noon on that Thursday. Definitely happy with my grocery pick up order from this store. They're carry items that are traditionally sold on your "average " grocery store but specialize in items that are made with whole ingredients, fresh, and normally hard to find. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they carried some items that I was unable to get at Whole Foods and so have started placing orders for special items here more. For example they had organic frozen corn AND lion's mane mushrooms for my homemade vegan soup. The service is great and the ambiance is relaxed. Because they're a bit out of my way I do orders ahead of time which I've never done before but now that I do it makes the trips a lot faster and smoother. read more

I am a huge Fresh Market fan, and shop there almost exclusively for my groceries because of all the deals and the quality. However, I will never be back to this one. I like to give places multiple chances, and this location has proven over and over that I can't trust it with my food. 1-My brother got an expensive slab of meat for a special event, and when he opened it, it smelled and and looked rotten. He brought it back, and the employee he spoke with was rude and told him that's how it's supposed to be. 2-I got the Mediterranean pita little big meal. When I got home that day, I noticed that the tzatziki package was expired by over a month, and the package had mold all over it. I shouldn't have to check the expiration date in the store. I went back, and the employee was rude, couldn't care less, and seemed like I was bothering him. I was extremely nice despite the situation, and he had a really bad attitude. He let me exchange it and I suggested that they check all of the little big meal tzatzikis. I described him to my brother and it turns out that it was the same guy. 3-A couple weeks later, I got the burger little big meal. Again after getting home, I saw that the buns were moldy. I just threw them away rather than trying to deal with the same guy again, and just didn't have the buns for the burgers. This location has sold me food which could've made my family sick multiple times, and the customer service has been horrible. This is unacceptable anywhere, but especially for a place that's supposed to be about healthy products. I would also expect more at this price point. I do love Fresh Market and still go to a different location, but this one is an absolute no. I'd give zero stars if Yelp allowed it. read more

I have to admit I had not gone to this market at all until that day I got a pizza at John the baker next door and wanted a bottle of wine- so I walked in here and noticed the fancy decor, wood accents, upscale brands displayed... and a good wine selection at a comparable price point and so I had been a couple of times since because it is out of my regular "zone" but the good wine I found made it worth the extra trip... So on Saturday I was reviewing my junk mail and noticed a special they were having for Veterans Day: oh boy!! I have to check their specials more often! I was able to get delicious looking food at a most affordable price point! The special I took advantage of was a NY Strip piece, cut to order- so I got 8 delish 1" steaks- for $50! We shall be tasting them tonight... So now- I will pay attention to this little welcoming specialty market - and certainly visiting more often... they have a thanksgiving foods special going on now that I may take advantage of. The market on Sunrise, Sunrise, Fl, is the worst. It never has anything it advertises. The wings, which are usually a good deal, they are always out of. The NY strip steak on sale . They had only one. Was told they are out. The pre-made sandwiches, I went a little after 9 in the morning, they had none made. People who work their work like a bunch of zombies. They always state that they have a delivery on the way. When? There was only 1 cashier on duty and eventually another one came out as the line started to back up. I don't know who is running this store. But they need to do better. Way better. Its disappointing to go shopping and they are always out. You can't keep using the same excuses. I came here yesterday because I was helping a friend out by shopping for her. As it was my first time in the store, I was not sure of where to begin. However, I will saw that it is a cute little store. It reminds of those Hallmark movies local grocer. It felt very homey although not all of the employees made me feel that way. Since I'd never been before, I figured the deli was the best place to start since it was obvious of where that was. Lol. I stood there for about 10 minutes before someone helped me. There was an Asian woman helping a customer on the other end. She is who eventually helped me once she was done. When she turned around after finishing with the customer, she immediately greeted me and asked what I needed. However, there were 3 other people in the deli area that overlooked me. There were two younger ladies which one looked like she was making something and her back was to me so she never saw me. The other young lady that was just watching her prep whatever she was prepping looked at me a few times and never asked if I needed assistance. There was an older African-American women who also saw me and was walking back and forth. Once the Asian lady asked what my order was and began to grab the meat to slice the meat, it was then that the older African-American woman asked her what she needed and only then did she take over the order. The other three individuals that assisted were so nice! There was guy that asked to help me find some cookies who ended up asking the bakery lady for the assistance because although he pointed me to the correct flavor for the cookies, it wasn't the exact cookie size she wanted. She wanted the giant cookies which they keep in a basket on the counter of the bakery glass thing (I don't know the proper name). I didn't get a chance to thank him as when I turned around he was pulled away to pick up some artisan crackers that someone spilled while restocking. But thank you to you both! Then the last person that helped me was the highlight of my visit! She was so cheery and welcomed me to Fresh Market as I told her it was my first time and completely lost! She had on a Christmas lights necklace and a Christmas headband and stocking some croutons I believe when I bothered her. I was trying to lowkey search her for a name badge but she didn't have one. So the best way I can describe her outside of the Christmas lights is that she had raspy voice. She personally walked me to the last two items I was looking for and just really made my shopping experience so pleasant. Since I kind of know the lay of the land now (lol), I will definitely be back as I've learned from Tiktok that Fresh Market carries Omsom noodles. read more

Should be called the "stale market". Second time in a row i purchased baked good that were stale. When i went to return the cookies the following day , the cashier tried to challenge me; "the cookies aren't stale. They're crispy." Cashier also asked me;" when did you purchase them? "I said yesterday and I politely said "please do not argue with me." Second time in a row ..terrible experience I will never grace the doorstep of this place again. Everything looks good, but is very poorly rotated and then if you're dissatisfied you will be challenged. Never again!! I've only been here a few times but each time I'm here it's always a pleasant experience. Walking in there's an instant coziness to this store. It doesn't seem to be lit with harsh lighting that you'd get at say, a Publix. There's a wide selection of produce options at fair prices. What makes this place even more interesting is there bulk section, where you can buy bulk mixes such as trail mix, nuts, etc. If you normally buy the 5.99 roasted chicken (various flavors) they do this awesome meal deal. Basically for just 15.99 you get the roasted chicken, a choice of up to two sides and a box containing six freshly made corn muffins. This is perfect if you find yourself in a situation where you don't have time to cook that day or even if you just like the meal! But due to the popularity of this deal there's usually a bit of a wait when the employees have to cook more chicken to meet the demand. They have a great selections of beers and wines. There's a cool setup where you can mix and choose your own six pack for ten dollars. While we were there looking at the beer selection, we were approached by the woman who carries out the wine tasting samplings. She was very informative and recommended a really good wine to try and it was delicious. The Fresh Market never disappoints. Mind you, it wasn't my intention to go there last weekend, but I was running out of options and getting desperate. It's really this simple. I wanted cherries. Publix didn't have them, Trader Joe's didn't have them, and I wanted them so badly that I didn't care where I'd get them. I considered this place because I was in the area. That and I already love this chain, even if admittedly I only tend to go during the Autumn. I just adore their pumpkin nut bread. Anyway, as all of this chain go, products are pricey. Ended up buying two pounds of the best cherries ever for around $13. Yikes, but money well spent. Ended up purchasing bean sprouts, sangria, and some lemonade that was on sale, but seriously speaking, walked out spending more than I thought I would. Probably in my top places to shop, but just so unfortunately expensive. Sigh. At any rate, The Fresh Market came through for me and I'm happily enjoying my Canadian cherries. read more

The Fresh Market is one of those places you go to only one they have deals in my opinion. The place is always spotless and clean and they have many friendly faces that will help with whatever needs you have, however the prices are insane. Pricing here is a little more than everywhere else because it is a small place that caters to organic and smaller named items. The only thing is many of the things that you can get here you can also get at Publix or other big-name supermarkets for much less. They have a deli, a hot food section, an insane amount of wines and beer and they even have a little bulk area where you can get a multitude of things such as wasabi peas or trail mix in bulk and they weigh it and price it out based on weight. You can even make your own six-pack! I mainly go when they have chicken breast on sale or to build my own six-pack. I enjoy coming to fresh market. It's a nice in between from Publix & Whole Foods. I typically come in for fresh fruits & vegetables. They also have a great selection of salad dressings which is nice to spice up the typical salad. I also like the pressed juice assortment, I do wish they had freshly made like Whole Foods though. My guilty pleasure here are their fresh pound cakes! My favorites include the banana nut and chocolate chip. What really sold me are their sugar free dessert options. They don't always have them in stock so when I find them I get a few! From cakes to apple pie to cookies! Delicious even though it's sugar free and my mom who is diabetic really enjoys it! The downside I find is I can't do my whole grocery list here as healthy as I would like to seem there are som processed foods on my list. read more

I visited this location for the first time. I use to shop here before moving to the area. For some reason I had a taste for their banana chocolate chip bread. I love this bread!! If you have never tried it, you are missing out. It's 4-5 bucks from the bakery section but great!! The location is smaller than some of the other locations I've visited but it is easy to navigate. I had several employees ask if I needed any help. Everyone was so friendly and seem to be happy as I wandered the store. When I made my way to the bakery there was a nice lady who helped me, I couldn't find the bread I was looking for. She had a few she had recently baked that were not on display yet. She made small talk as she packed my bread. There was plenty of parking. It's located in a shopping center but it is not busy in the area the market is located.
