Well I ordered on the publix app today. I got two Boars head foot long subs. I got the Italian sub, and the other one is the black crack pepper turkey sub. Well, I'm very pleased with how they came out my bread is so tender and just plain soft it's so easy to bite into I think this is one of the best subs I've had in a long time from Publix. My husband got the turkey cracked pepper Boars head sub. Double meat and he is just loving it every bite. It was made on time and everything went really well thank you Publix. Oh plus the place was very clean. To be all honest I am just so happy. I decided to get subs for lunch today. It just made my day so much better. read more

this is adding insult to injury I buy a carton of Publix brand jumbo eggs I Discover when I get home that three or four of these eggs are not jumbo and are much smaller than the rest of them. Does Publix really think we're that stupid that we will accept this as OK? Now I have to check every carton before I buy it to make sure that the eggs inside are indeed what they are advertised on the outside of the carton. What is wrong with you Publix? Do you really think we won't care about this not only do you charge exorbitant prices but you're trying to fleece us. This is totally unacceptable and shameful. read more

Been meaning to come back and update my review. I was in today and had an issue and it was resolved quickly by Nate who was really kind about it and refunded my money. In general this store has what you need, has a good atmosphere and is not so huge that you get lost in the aisles. Bar far the people who work there are courteous and helpful. Their gut busting monster subs blow away anything you could ever get at Subway or one of the other chains. It's my belief Don the Manager sets the example and it flows down from there. read more

I love Publix, but NOT this Publix at 120 Carillon Pkwy in St. Pete, truly lacks luster. This place is a half mile from my house and convenient, so that is the only reason I continue to shop here. Every employee and manager seems so annoyed, bothered, and robotic. Every single time I go in there, I am disappointed. There is no eye contact, it's chaotic, and never an offer to help. MANY times, I see the managers talking amongst themselves and no communication with the customers or going the extra mile like most Publix. The cake decorator at the bakery was ANNOYED today when I asked about some bread, the cashier tossed my apple and fragile items like she did not give a damn, the people stocking the shelves make you feel bad when you're trying to shop, the front end staff are always cold, and to be honest, no one seems to know anything. I never complain, but today was it. EVERY time, I am disappointed and today I am saying something. This Publix location needs to DO BETTER. read more

This is a fantastic Publix! It's not the largest Publix, but their variety and selection is incredible. How they manage to make it all happen in a smaller space like that I wish I had their engineers to make better use of my limited living area space. It was part of an 8 pack, as Nick in customer service explained he them reversed the charges and gave them too me for free. This is why Publix is gonna take over the southeast. Anne is super friendly at the deli sandwich counter, and makes a great wrap. -Choices of white, wheat, spinach, sun dried tomato, or gluten free wraps, or various breads. -Choice of Dijon, spicy, or standard mustard, mayonnaise, or a few other spreadable condiments. -Choice of at least eight different cheeses including cheddar, provolone, pepper jack, chipotle gouda, and others. Plenty of deli meat options, though I had none. -Choice of lettuce, spinach, tomato, cucumber, onion, green bell pepper, jalapeño, banana pepper, standard or garlic pickles, and maybe a few other things I'm forgetting. -And choice of various dressings. Better options than Subway or Jimmy Johns, cheaper, wrapped better, and tastes better. If you are staying at the Hilton, and aren't interested in the hotel restaurant, there really is no better option. read more

I walked in with my dog and the manager says hi. I say hi back thinking it was a genuine interaction. She then comes up to me and says "I must ask is your dog a service dog?". I say yes. She then proceeds to question me about what services does he provide as if I am lying. I told her that the services that my dog provides does not need to be required as per Florida state laws. She said that she is allowed to ask whatever she needs to ask. She proceeded to follow me to the service desk. As a male of color, I felt a bit offended and scared knowing that this slight altercation could've escalated. I was surprised this happened at a Publix, a place known to provide services and career opportunities for people with disabilities. read more

This Publix is close to our home and looks fancy from the outside so we wanted to check it out. It's very small inside and has a much more limited selection compared to other stores in the area. This seems to be a Publix for people to stop by after work to grab a few things due to its location in a business park area, but not really the place to do your weekly shopping as the supply is limited. read more

This Publix is tiny for a grocery store, but decently stocked for its size. Definitely smaller than most other Publix locations, I appreciate the ease of finding those couple of items I need quickly, without feeling like I've hiked a great distance. The pharmacy is super convenient, too, though the deli is always very busy. The parking lot is also more intimate; I'm usually able to park very close to the entrance. Cashiers are typically plentiful, though I often forget that most customers aren't doing a big weekly shop here & the express lanes tend to be the longest lines. As a fun perk, though I'm not sure which evenings, I'm delighted to find a wine tasting when I stop by after work. read more

Ok wow! I'll keep passing on their subs. But the sushi and rolls they make are the best at any Publix I've had! I came and got an avocado roll today and man I'm so Impressed! Freshly made and all the filling were crunchy: shaved carrot, cucumber, purple cabbage, the lettuce and the fresh avocado was perfectly layered on top all wrapped up in the tapioca paper. I needed something fresh and salads are just so common. Glad I stopped in for my gum Fix and this beautiful colorful fresh avo-roll. Yum! read more

Yes, as other reviewers have mentioned, this is a smaller Publix. However, I have never had a problem the finding products (although I am a "mainstream" shopper) I have wanted and they still have a nice selection of deli/prepared foods. In the back by the fish they have prepared sushi. Although, it is not the best sushi in the world (and honestly would you expect to find fantastic sushi at a supermarket?) it does hit the spot when you need a sushi fix. I always get their Philadelphia roll and it is well made, although sometimes with a tad too much rice. They also have great selection at the deli section. My fiance loves the fried chicken. Sometimes the deli selection changes. Once we got a spicy mac and cheese, which was much too spicy for me, but my fiance ate it all up. Great place to grab last minute dinner. The pharmacy is great. When I went to change my prescription to this location from another chain, the pharmacist was extremely friendly and personable. She made it extremely convenient to do and I cannot see any reason why I would ever change it anywhere else unless I move. This place is very clean and I enjoy doing my grocery shopping here. read more

This place is the closest to where I live. I can get all I need at a reasonable price. Over all the other food store chains, this one has all I need. Although its smaller than other Publix supermarkets, but I generally find what I'm looking for. They have gluten free items, one aisle right upon entering, so you don't miss it. If you wander into the frozen section, you will also find GF options there such as their waffles. Different aisles in Publix includes everything from flour and baking supplies to chilled section with almond/coconut/soy milk options as well as yogurts. Then it has snacks, pastas, and many other options to include desserts. A good range of cheeses! Fresh veggie section. Publix always seems to have organic & unorganic vegetables which I love. I can always count on some deal on a veggies that will help me stock up. Their meat/deli department is also huge. I never purchased any subs or sandwiches from there but have heard a lot about them from friends. Service here has always been great. Just the other day, we bought a whole greenwise organic chicken & wanted it to get cut into pieces in the butcher section n they did it right. I'll be back again n again! read more

I recently moved to Florida from Massachusetts and I use this Publix location for all my grocery needs. My first visit into this store I was greeted by the manager by my first name and he always makes me feel so welcome. The entire staff are phenomenal. I've never been to a grocery store where I was treated so wonderful!I can't tell you what a difference it makes being so far from home and being treated so kindly. read more

Well I am now convinced that this Publix will only receive 3 stars from me for the time being. Today I had the catfish dinner, and as you can see from the pics I posted, they should have been catfish nuggets. I am not sure if they are catching the baby catfish or what, but these were some itty bitty pieces of fish. The lady at the hot food station only wanted to give me two pieces and only after I told her they were little did she say, "Oh I will give you another piece". Now, I'm no small woman and I like to eat and I felt a bit insulted with her wanting to give me those small pieces. So I will either refrain from going here or keep making them my lunch spot of choice because of the convenience either way I am going to be S.O.L when it comes to lunch at the office. read more

If I could give this place no stars I would, the only nice people here tonight was the new young lady manager I seen in the back near the produce, she was nice , the young girl at the register was nice but the little hobbit mean lady with the glasses , I'm assuming the second manager was really nasty, she pushed me and the cashier out of the way and started going in my cart ringing things up and throwing them around in the cart and then gave a nasty attitude and tried playing stupid when I asked her to please stop throwing our groceries, and even after saying this she still threw them, so after everything was rung up I decided to take the high road and leave because I don't want any of that negativity energy around my food let alone bring home smashed up negative energy groceries, have fun putting that stuff back on the shelves, we will take our business elsewhere, seriously don't come here they are rude read more

This Publix has been a staple in my life since my parents moved to Feathersound 10 years ago and I love each and every visit. Now, I've been a fan of Publix for as far back as I can remember, but this one has a bit of special flare that makes me love the brand even more. It isn't that they have anything in particularly different but jus the way the store is laid out. It appears to be a bit smaller than most stores and each visit is easy to navigate the store and finish a shopping trip in less time. I also appreciate the number of checkout lines. There are maybe 3-4 less than other larger Publix stores, but I've never had to wait in line for too long upon each visit/checkout. The staff here is so friendly and I love seeing the management at the front every time. Lastly, the parking situation here is brilliant. Since it is a shared parking lot with the SunTrust and other businesses there is tons of available parking. It's so easy to enter and exit, let alone find a great space. Love this Publix, as I do many of their stores. read more

I received the most excellent customer service from Danielle,when I encountered a problem and the other person didn't know how to help me he called Danielle and she made the transaction fast and friendly, and answered all of my questions. This is the closest Publix to my home is easy and convenient for me. Parking is plentiful and the store is rarely overcrowded. It is a smaller store compared to some others so your selection may be somewhat limited if you are looking for some of the more obscure brands. However, the manager will readily order what you need if you are willing to wait a few days for it. There were a few times that my husband came home with some produce that had already started to mold. He went back and they promptly refunded the money, no questions asked. My husband sent me there to get polenta the other day. Being Asian and growing up in a traditional Asian household, I had no clue what that was and where to find it? Is it a pasta? Potato? Dried good? Frozen? I asked 4 different Publix employees all of whom looked at me like I was an alien. To their credit, the first person I asked never gave up. She went from aisle to aisle and 10 minutes later found me in the cereal aisle screaming at my husband for being culturally insensitive to my Asian naivete and forcing me to find food I was unfamiliar with. She showed up with a pre-formed, pre-cooked version that was from the organic produce section. I think she saved my marriage. This store is convenient and clean. However, if you need items that are not mainstream you may have to look elsewhere. read more

Publix is amazing. Not only are their stores clean, organized, bright and well stocked, their customer service is top notch. I am always greeted with a smile at this location and their staff is courteous, knowledgable and helpful. When I visited my family a little while ago, I wanted to take some green peanuts back with me so we could enjoy some boiled peanuts. This location only had 2 packages, so they located these for me in the store and then went above and beyond and called FIVE other Publix locations to see if we could get more. They put the peanuts at the other stores on hold for me and even told me the name of the person to ask for when I got there - incredible! Great job to the staff of this store for going above and beyond. I HIGHLY recommend shopping at Publix for anyone lucky enough to live in states where they have them. read more

This location is very convenient to my house, so I am a regular customer. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I'm always asked if I need help finding anything. The cashiers are friendly and efficient. This store is a small Publix. Don't expect to find a huge selection here. I used to think that Publix had the freshest produce, but lately they are proving me wrong. I continue to have problems finding fresh produce here. The packaged vegetables are continually a problem. If I am going to pay a premium price, I expect a premium product. This is not always the case. I'll continue to frequent this location because of its convenience, but I will be extremely careful when buying produce. read more

So very tired of this Publix. This is the one closest to where I live but today was the last straw. The Pharmacy is the absolute worst. I tried twice to get a flu shot and one time their computer was down, and the next the pharmacist said she was going on break. Seriously. Today I went in to have a prescription filled and I was told that it would be over an hour. It's like they don't want business. Well, your wish has been granted. Additionally, their parking lot is a complete $hitshow between the construction and the broken lights. Add to that all of the displays clogging the aisles (a la Walmart), and its a big no thanks. My boyfriend and I stopped at this Publix on the way to Indian Rocks Beach in Wednesday and we were completely blown away. The store is absolutely beautiful, the staff is super friendly and the deli, even though busy, was clean and looked great. What was even better were the subs we got. This Publix feels smaller than other ones. Parking and walking to your car can be scary sometimes, lots of cars driving really fast through this lot. Employees are super friendly per usual with most Publix locations I've been in. Checkout is normally quick and painless. I've ordered a couple of cakes here before from their bakery and this was seriously the best experience I've had anywhere with ordering a cake. The bakery employees are top notch. 5 stars - why???? I just had one of the greatest bathroom experiences of my life. How??? Bathroom was VERY clean. Toilet paper was absorbent but not that overly fluffy stuff that leaves junk all over your under areas. And the handsoap! Smells so damn good. All around A+++ experience! read more

I have always been a fan of Publix! Actually, Publix was my first job in high school. They are known for their excellent customer service and cleanliness of their store. One thing I love about Publix is their bakery. The cupcakes are amazing and their cakes are always fresh and delicious. On my recent visit to Publix, I was surprised that I was not greeted by a Publix employee as I made my way through the store. The cashier was very polite and checked me out in a timely manner. I did not see many sales or great offers this week, but I did get a good price on my meat selections this week. I really wanted to purchase a 6-pack of cupcakes, but I have to stick to my diet. Overall, Publix is the best grocery store in town and I would not want to shop anywhere else. read more
