We consistently shop at Publix. They always push having the app, which we have had for quite awhile. On your birthday you are supposed to receive a free small birthday cake. Today being my husband's birthday we went to get the cake. For whatever reason a coupon is supposed to be in the app. However, it wasn't there. The clerk called over a manager who could see his birthday in the profile and just stated sorry I can't do anything and walked away. Disappointing customer service. read more

Nice Clean Publix, good deli and for me, they always have lamb. I can get ground lamb and some other stores but not lamb shanks or steaks. Staff is always courteous and helpful, this is not my normal store but I pass this on the way to work so I'm adding it to my stocking list. If you're a public shopper you'll be satisfied. Social distance is a must for your safety from the Coronavirus pandemic. I love Publix and this is the only grocery store I shop at when I'm home in Miami, Florida or in the South. Two of the employees here greet you at the front and have hand sanitizer, clean shopping carts and clean baskets for customers. I came here while my family and I are traveling and this store was super clean. The employees are friendly and the grocery store is well organized. My family and I ordered subs and they were really delicious. I also had a small container of Southern potato salad, Publix brand. This is my favorite. :-) The male supervisor in the deli was really pleasant and assisted my family and I quickly. He wore a mask for his and the customers safety, but he spoke loud enough for us to hear and get our orders correctly. I like Dacula, Georgia so if I'm in the area, I will definitely be back. read more

I'm not sure what happened, this used to be a good place to shop. Lately I find a reason to leave empty handed more often than not. Today there was sour cream on the shelf that had an April sell by date, this is May 3rd. Corporate should take a hard look at this store. read more

Publix has become the leading name in the supermarket field here in the southeast. Once you experience a Publix supermarket yourself, I am confident that you will understand how Publix has become such an iconic supermarket brand and has developed such a loyal customer base down here in the southeast. Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals and we cannot forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities that Publix opens a location in are very grateful for a Publix opening by them. I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location or any Publix location and I give it five stars. read more

This weekend I had the pleasure of Secret Shopping at 4 different Publix Super Markets and the Hamilton Mill Publix exceeded the other 3! It was one of the BEST customer experiences I've had in any grocery store! It started off with their great Deli employee Leondria. They had a lot of people in line, but she made sure it went quickly, even offering to go cut up more boars head cheese for a gentleman and his two sons! No one was upset while waiting, we chatted amongst ourselves about the cleanliness of the store and how all of the employees were smiling and helpful. Leondria served all in line without cutting corners and delivering top notch sandwiches with speed and a smile. Then while at the check out line, I overheard Mary the cashier give the person ahead of me uplifting words of encouragement as he was having a good day, he thanked her profusely. Once I was up she continued to ask how my day was going and if she could be of anymore help. WOW! I know this should be standard but We NEED great experiences like this to want to return to any stores! This experience at Publix Hamilton Mill restored my belief that there's still great customer service out there! Thank you Hamilton Mill Publix for an Epic experience! read more

Sent my boyfriend to Publix off Hamilton Mill on Friday to get some probiotic drops for my 2 month old. His stomach has been messed up ever since! Today I checked the bottle and it's expired. I called Publix to let them know I wanted a refund and they should probably check their shelves. Went in today to get my refund and checked, every single bottle on the shelf was expired. Went into use the pharmacy (not my usual one) but they were so quick and helpful I will be switching for good!! Loved everyone working there. Multiple people assisted me and all were super friendly. Made a quick stop at this Publix while traveling from Atlanta to DC. They opened exactly at 7:00 am. I was warmly greeted by each and every staff in my presence. The store was clean and well-stocked. I needed some medication for my daughter. They had an ample inventory of medicines for children reasonably priced. Not being from the area, it was easy to find using the Waze navigation app. Definitely in a great location with plenty of parking and other retail options and eateries. read more

I decided to order some subs for the game, and ordered online, my pick up time was 3:20pm. After arriving at the pick up station there were no subs ready. Only one girl was working while several male workers were just hanging around talking. When the male workers came over to help the young lady I saw him pull my order off the machine and he said we just received it, and I said well the order time was 3:20pm. So he said I will make them right now. When I came back I observed him pull other subs out of the warmer and was picking ingredients off them. It was now 3:40 and I had no subs and a game to catch so I left and checked out when I got home I called the manager and told her what had happened and told her I am not paying for the subs. I assumed she would offer me a compensation but she said we can make them now. After watching them pick off Ingredients from other subs I did NOT want another sub. And Wanda the manager did not ask how she could make it right. Do not order online because you will not receive them at the pick up time promised. Plus how do you know they haven't picked through your sub? If you want to wait forever to get waited on and cross contamination with your food this is the store for you!! And the management doesn't seem to care either. Horrible shopping experience!! Shoppers beware!!! read more

I live very close to this Publix so go only for convenience as this is the worst Publix around. The meat department has a terrible selection especially regarding steaks. I have never been there on any day or time when employee's were not blocking aisles because always restocking during business hours. Rarely do they have everything I need. The kicker for me was two years ago when the Falcons made the Super bowl, the manager had New England Patriot balloons and Patriots shirts etc. all over the place. I love this Publix and I frequent it at least once a week. They always have great BOGO deals that you can check out before you go on their website and have a coupon stand where you can get any additional coupons that you may have forgotten in the middle of the store. Also, with the BOGO's you can get just one item for 50% off if you don't want two of that item which I've found to be a rare practice. The prices are a little higher (canned goods can be found cheaper at Walmart) but it's definitely worth it to shop in a calm and clean environment. The associates are always friendly and available to assist you with whatever you need. Some of the products I can only find at Publix are their unsweetened tea, Better Cheddar Crackers, and Taco Bell Products. We also frequent the Publix Deli for fresh meat and cheese for sandwiches as well as their delicious Publix sub sandwiches which are consistently fresh and tasty! If you're looking for a great grocery store definitely visit this location. read more

I will never come back to this Publix. This is why we shop at Kroger and Aldi. Publix is over priced and they have attitudes to boot. My Wife went to the sub counter (that's why we were there). The lady messed the sub up (it's cool. No big deal). Then she proceeds to tell my wife that she made it exactly how my wife said and the problem wasn't her it was my wife. Are you serious? Very very clean love shopping at the deli. I always enjoyed shopping here but today when I went there the guy at the CS desk came to help with a price issue. The price rang up wrong, there was no apology no courtesy for having the wrong price ringing even though this item was clearly on sale and marked down. He walked away when I was taking to him .
