I had a wonderful experience at this Pharmacy... My Pharmacy... In Dawsonville GA. Kristie was my pharmaceutical helper, and she was fabulous! Not only did she get all of my prescriptions lined up so they all renew at the same time, but she helped me with a prescription that was running out and was not up for renewal yet. This woman had the patience of a saint... friendly, attentive, and made sure that everything was all set up before I left the counter. The staff here is very pleasant and I truly appreciate it. Sometimes the line can be long and customers get restless, but the staff is still professional and kind. My prescriptions have always been ready on time. I've also had questions a few times and they were thorough and willing to help. I don't have a Publix in my state. We kept seeing them everywhere so we wanted to try it. It was a really overpriced, but the bakery section was amazing! Also this location smelled for some reason. So I recommend the supermarket but maybe not this location. read more

For Publix, I am just reading their sandwiches and combo meal. Publix sandwiches are very delicious, but I don't know if they're better than firehouse, but I do know they're not worse than Jersey Mike's. Their chipotle sauce is pretty good but very spicy. Also make sure to get pita chips from the store to add with your sandwich, they make everything better. read more

What I can appreciate from Publix is that they're so helpful. I never have to wait around too long in order to get some help and people here actually seem to like what they do.... Definitely a clean vibe great store overall. Prices can be hit or miss. Depends what you're looking for. read more

While this Publix is like others, very good quality, clean, with a decent assortment, Kroger Dawsonville is literally 30-40% cheaper for the exact same items. Publix, just doesn't even try to compete on prices...and the only reason to go here is because it is smaller. read more

Ok so I never thought I would have to do this. I have been going to Publix since I was a kid. Never had issues. But why can't this store/location have wings. Today makes the 3rd time in the last month I have called and there out of wings. I called this time in the morning thinking ok they will have there "truck" in. Nope still no wings I am super Disappointed. I called in December twice they were out of wings both times I called this morning they're at a wings again. Straight disappointment! read more

Publix Dawsonville, like most other Publix stores this location rises far above all other grocers in the area. The SERVICE sets the tone from the moment you walk in the door. I have not stepped into this store that the staff person at the customer service counter has not warmly greeted me and welcomed me into the store. Once you walk inside you will find an immaculate, bright, big store always stocked with everything on your shipping list. I love the produce, meat and seafood department. You will always find a helpful, cheerful staff member who will go above and beyond to assist in any way they can. I genuinely believe Publix carries the freshest, best quality produce you will find anywhere. Quality, Service, and Selection carry over to the Seafood and the Meat departments as well. While you are shopping, you will have store employees ask if there is anything you are looking for or need of assistance. I recently made a trip to the Kroger across the street in search of a meat product for a dinner I was preparing. I stood at the side of a gentleman in the meat department trying to get his attention, and after a few minutes, he answered me as he stocked a counter. I inquired about the item, and without making eye contact with me, He advised me if they have it I will find it in the center aisle on one of the display end caps. I looked and could not locate the item nor get the man's attention again. I drove across the street to check Publix and while looking at prepared salad's was asked if I was finding everything ok. I told the gentleman I had come for a specific item and instead of telling me it was not his department he said to me he would be right back. A few moments later he returned with two selections of the item I was seeking. I think Publix age-old motto of "where shopping is a pleasure" is bought to life in its stores and the embodiment of its staff members on a daily basis. I went by the deli today to get a sub. The people in the deli are always under a lot of stress on Sundays due to the large amounts of people who come in. Trace was the nicest guy I have ever experienced in the deli. He had a great attitude and was happy to offer me options to enhance my sub. Trace definitely deserves all the credit he can get. Publix is just perfect. Also if you're getting a chicken tender sub, they're required to put 4 tenders on each full sub; SO you can ask for one of the tenders on the side and you'll basically get a free chicken tender. (4 tenders really is just sooo much chicken on a sub for me lol) also get your tenders tossed in a sauce if your liking :) I like mine tossed in Buffalo + ranch. It honey mustard. They also have BBQ. MEH! This is the new Publix store located near the Dawsonville Outlet stores, on the east side of 19/400. I was very excited to see that this store is now open because I love the Publix soup bar, I wanted to get some fresh greens and I was really anxious to see the interior of this store. As soon as I entered the store, I was disappointed. I can appreciate that Publix is proud of their history but I just don't feel that they need to keep replicating the design in 2016. It just doesn't work for me. I like to be able to walk in a store with an entryway and not feel that the displays are right in my face. I really did not like the aesthetic of this store because it is very dated/retro but not in a good way. For me, the new store in Knoxville, TN is the standard by which I will judge all new Publix stores because it is very open with a great floor plan and the exterior is very modern and unique. I came here for my breakfast soup but I did not find an acceptable option, the creamed soups looked too heavy and the chili just wasn't what I wanted for breakfast. I usually like the vegetable soup but it was not available today. I do believe that it is important to have a vegetable based soup available everyday for those who do not want meat. I was not able to purchase my fresh greens here because the selection was poor and what was available was wilted and dry. Although the prepared foods looked fresh, the bakery area was small and limited and there was no sour cream donut available! Ugggh! The best compliment I can give this store is for their customer service which was great today. I appreciated the warm greetings and accessible employees offering their assistance at every turn. read more

I have recently posting that Publix would not give me lettuce for a salad, so never understood why they had on menu, make any sandwich a salad if they wouldn't give me main ingredient .... I absolutely love this place. Kroger's is okay but a little bit pricey for me. Publix is very clean it's on the right side of the road and convenient. I love their International Foods, they're fresh vegetable and fruit section is out of this world. I have never had soup for breakfast but I'm pretty sure if I wanted it they had it. I have actually found most all of my Niche items at Publix. And the people the workers seem to be content and helpful they will help you find things they will help you with your buggy they will help you to your car even help you load it and then take the buggy back can't ask for anything better than that. read more

I was so disappointed with the filet mignons I purchased here yesterday. At almost $20 per pound, they should have been perfect. I spent $18.00 on them! I bought them for a special occasion, but when I opened them up for grilling - meat was so disappointing. The really bad filet (if you could call it that) was covered by the label. The bad piece was full of gristle, tough and downright inedible. Unfortunately I was stuck with my purchase, as I then traveled a number of miles away to enjoy a camping weekend. Too far away to go back and chase down the butcher. Save your money folks and go across the road to Kroger. read more

On July 24th I placed, and paid for, a deli pulled pork meal for 4 with sides. I received a confirmation email from Publix that the order would be ready for pick up on the 27th at 10:30. I was late getting there and it was just after noon, I gave the woman behind the counter my name and that I was there to pick up an order. She disappeared into the back for about 15 minutes. Per my confirmation the order would be a simple "pick up and go." Nope. She eventually come out from the back with a container of beans a package of rolls and some containers of sauce that she dumps into my shopping cart. No bag just individual items. Then she tells me that the side of mac and cheese that I ordered and they confirmed was not available and started making some excuse about a new person working there. I asked to speak to the manager and she said she was the manager and there was nothing should could/would do and that I needed to just pick another side. I asked to speak with the store manager and she walked away. I still didn't have the pulled pork, just the the stuff she'd randomly dumped into my shopping cart. Eventually the store manager arrives and "apologized" for my inconvenience and wait and that the order I'd placed days earlier was not as it was ordered and that I just needed to pick another side. I've already wasted about 30 minutes waiting for a simple "pick up and go" meal so I told him I wanted a refund and didn't want any of it. I was done and it would be faster for me to go across the street than deal with Publix. I explained that this wasn't the first time it's happened, but it was the last. He eventually said he I could keep the items that the "deli manager" had tossed into my cart and that he'd refund my order. While I appreciate the refund, it doesn't change the fact that the deli manager never took responsibility for anything, though she did eventually show up again with a random container of fried rice. Again, nothing was in a bag, nothing was ready to "pick up and go," unless I'd remembered to bring my own bags with me. And, I wasn't the only one, the woman behind me had placed a chicken order for pick up and was still waiting with her kids for them to have it ready for her. I suggest that if you want something that's "pick up and go," you totally avoid Publix and go with one of the many other options that are available. read more

I love the Dawsonville Publix! Why? Let me count the ways! 1.) I can find what I need in the most logical place. 2.) I love the Publix brand (SmartWise) of organic and grass fed produce and meats/poultry. 3.) It's small enough to go in and out and not spend all day 4.) The people are so friendly and if I do ask where something is, they will actually walk you to it, rather than just tell you. 5.) The ready-made salads, deli section and sandwiches are so fresh. 6.) I love the daily dinner and recipe idea area where you can get everything you need for a unique fresh meal! 7.) Organic veges and fruits are readily available. 8.) the prices are comparable 9.) Love the salmon (I used their Asian sauce recipe) and smoked trout dip. 10.) It's cleaner than other stores (even new ones). I hope the management stays consistent, because I've seen other Publix not do well after the first year. For me, however, I much prefer this store over The Six Flags Over "Fill-in-Blank" concept that other stores have. read more

This Publix just opened up and I've been three times already. I love the selection for I can find brands here I love but weren't carried at the other grocery stores nearby. I love how the BOGO you can get one for 50%. The friend chicken is amazing. The bakery is delicious and so tempting. The staff so far is very helpful. I not use to layout of the produce section, but there were two workers in the area and help me find all I needed. I haven't even thought of going to another grocery store since Publix opened since I'm so content with what I can get at this one. read more

NO ONE and I mean no one has ever been more excited to have this new Publix in our neighborhood than I ...........until it had been open about a month THEN, OMG, we gave up. I have shopped at Publix for YEARS until I moved to Dawson County less than 2 years ago and have always been a loyal and pleased customer. This new store STINKS like dead fish.....morning, noon, and night, M-F. I have told management and anyone else who would listen how disgusting it is to have to traverse the store through this offensive odor. We have our Rx prescriptions on file there and will continue to purchase them from Publix AS LONG AS WE CAN pick-up at their drive-thru window but until and if Publix cleans up that offensive odor, we will not be shopping there again. read more
