Publix , I need to address the experience I had at your Flemington Village Shopping Center location at 1435 E. Oglethorpe Hwy in Hinesville, GA on February 21, 2026. I ordered a custom cake for my son's first birthday after confirming the design in advance with a bakery associate, but what I received looked nothing like the approved reference photo and was far below expectations. When I contacted the bakery manager, Pete, my concerns were dismissed, and I was later offered only a $20 gift card for a $39.94 cake, not even a proper refund to my original payment method. So what if its "only $40", its $40 of my hard earned money & a memory my son has for the rest of his life! When I requested corporate contact information, I was told none was available and was instead given a card with store information from the customer service manager. Later that morning, I returned in an attempt to speak with the store manager, Josh. I was informed by the customer service manager that he was in meetings and unavailable, as if he would not take breaks or take the time to address a customer concern. During this visit, I was met with smirks, dismissive body language, and eye-rolling from staff members. At no point did anyone attempt to de-escalate the situation or demonstrate empathy. The lack of accountability, professionalism, and empathy from management and associates, including the customer service manager Tawanda, was extremely disappointing and does not reflect the brand image Publix promotes. I will be posting the two photos side by side, what I ordered versus what I received so others can see the comparison for themselves. I am truly displeased with how this was handled and believe this situation deserves a full refund and serious review by corporate leadership. read more

I really like this store! Recently I had an experience on 1/9/26 that makes me love it. I was preparing to go out of town and I wanted to take along something light to eat. I really enjoy the fresh salad with salmon. It was early in the morning and there were'nt any out . A lady named Tammy walked up and heard menation to a store worker that I was looking for that type of salad. She helped me look and we both saw there were none. Tammy told me she was about to get off work but if her manager allowed, she would go in the back to prepare one for me. She left and returned to lmk it will take about 10 minutes. Tammy returned with my fresh salmon salad made just the way I like it. I wanted to let everyone know the extra mile some Publix employees go to please their customers. Thanks again, Tammy!!! I love this Publix some people are very lovely and you can tell they actually like their job. However today we went to Publix and a worker by the check out section legit asked me if she could give my youngest son a sticker of course I said yes but she followed that by saying "oh and he bow legged". Like why would she say anything stupid like that about a child. And my baby who's just 1 years old is still developing he's not bow legged and then she chuckled and we left. Managers please teach these adults that lack manners to respect people and children, if you have nothing nice to say shut your mouth no one wants to hear an unwanted opinion .your job is to serve customers not to speak stupidity. read more

Love this new Publix. Maneuvering great, lots of new food items. Store clean, staff helpful and friendly. Prices are a little higher than any other food store, but Publix stores has always been slightly higher. Sooooo happy that we have a Publix. read more
