Extremely nice people! I was looking for sweet Italian sausage and there were none in the meat section but there were some in the frozen section and the guy walked us all the way to them. Pierce our cashier was also very kind to us. The cinnamon rolls in the bakery are top notch!!! They are a must buy! The only thing kinda interesting about this grocery store which is kinda genius is the commercial bakery items are in the far back opposite corner to the publix bakery items. Good experience over all, I had a bit of issues finding some products but i am from the Caribbean so most of the things i look for are rarely found in those markets i was surprised when i found jerk season, t but for your basic kitchen needs was easy to find lots of helpful stuff available and the product was fresh. i ran into someone from my home country,we had a Decent conversation i also had some small chat with random shoppers and give an old couple my space in the line. read more

I have to give a shout out to Frank in the deli dept! He was very entertaining and friendly while making our salads and subs. If you want a great salad order the "Sub in a tub". They will give you the same portion of meat as the sub, but on lettuce and or spinach. You can select whatever you'd like on top. I love getting just about everything. TIP: The boars head pickles and salad/sub dressing are amazing. The meats and cheeses here are always fresh. It's nice when you can count on consistency! Publix has become the leading name in the supermarket field here in the southeast. Once you experience a Publix supermarket yourself, I am confident that you will understand how Publix has become such an iconic supermarket brand and has developed such a loyal customer base down here in the southeast. Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals, and we must never forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way, it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. The ambiance definitely makes for a more enjoyable supermarket shopping experience. I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location or any Publix location for that matter and I give it five stars. read more

Publix is probably the most "popular" supermarket chain in Florida. I've been to a few since moving here - a majority of my stops have been at this location in Palm Coast. The store is clean and tidy. Employees are friendly, and the shelves always seem stocked. The only issue I have with Publix is the pricing. I find them to be consistently and considerably more expensive on a majority of the items I regularly purchase. Publix kind of reminds me of Safeway Grocery Stores when it comes to their prices. Just higher overall, for no apparent reason. I'll buy from Publix on occasion, but the Target in Palm coast has much lower prices on staple items like milk, butter, cheese, chips, etc. read more

Store seems fine but the deli needs some work. The service is terrible. The employees don't care about the customers. The "sandwich artists " should be trained on how to make a sub. This is the third time I have had to explain how to layer the meat so it's not all on one side. I was told it's layered this way because you purchased the Publix brand meat. Really?? I explained it doesn't matter the brand. Just layer the meat evenly. Their attitudes are subpar. Worst customer experience. I have had better service and quality at other stores. read more

The check out people and baggers here are disrespectful and condescending. The long haired bagger asked me if I found everything ok. I said "yes, thank you". He then said "has anyone found you?" I was confused, but laughed it off. He then saw the Newmans pizzas that I purchased and made a weird face and said "I prefer Freschetta". I thought to myself that something is off with this guy. This publix can be very hit or miss with the deli for subs. This trip will be our last at this location after how poorly made our subs were. We decided to get the ultimate sub in a wrap and when we picked them up from the online order and brought them home we saw how lazy they where made. The wraps where just thrown together and where cut on such a hard angle that everything fell apart. We asked for all the dressing on the side and instead were on the wrap soaking. Just left Publix and I'm extremely pissed! I can't believe how incompetent these people were to send out such subpar food that I wouldn't even feed my dog. We spent almost $100 dollars and were serviced horrifically. There isn't an emoji created that would describe my anger and disappointment. Ordered steamed crab legs and they were over cooked with no salvageable meat. The subs we ordered were an absolute mess filled with enough oil to fry 10lbs of fried chicken. Tried to take a bite of the sandwich and I might as well have gone in my kitchen, gotten out a bottle of vegetable oil and chugged it. Publix is much more expensive than your typical grocery store and that's absolutely fine when your service is up to the same standard. read more

We came here to pick up dinner and breakfast during our trip. The store was huge and very clean. It was well stocked and had a hot bar area food with pre-made food. We picked up some chicken tenders and donuts. The tenders were tasty and fresh. We would definitely visit again if we are in the area and need groceries. read more

I ordered the chicken tenders sub for the 2nd time and boy was I amazed! The special of the week was $6.99 for a full chicken tender sub. I had excellent service from Roosevelt in the deli. He's very client focused and did an excellent job. I got the chicken tossed in Buffalo sauce and all the toppings. The sandwich was crisp and amazing and I would definitely return. Went there on 1/24/2024 around 4:00 pm. The out of stocks were horrible. Especially on the BOGO,s. The last 3 visits were out of diet sweet tea in deli. Don't waste your hard earned money there! 11-4-16: Found out that since we are new to Florida, the check proofing business that disapproved our checks did so due to not having homestead status in Florida . I've been going to Publix on and off since I was a 8 (I'm 50 now), my grandmother had one down the street from her in Dunedin, FL (remember the S&H Green Stamps?). When the Towncenter Publix was built, I was as excited as a kid on Christmas. I had remembered the people were always friendly, they kept the shelves stocked, and would chat with my grandmother like they were best friends. The first time I shopped at Towncenter, I had a flashback to the 70's. This store follows the Publix tradition I remembered, friendly, clean, stocked and they treat everyone like family. Bakery review- I went in to order CP's birthday cake and the lady was very friendly and helpful as I was so indecisive with all the options. I hate I didn't get her name, but she helped me decide on a vanilla sheet cake with raspberry filling and a really pretty icing design that turned out great! I've never had a bad experience with Publix and I've shopped there for many years. I don't know what the problem was with the woman who complained about the check cashing service. Businesses do not look at you and say "ok. We'll take your check cause you sure look honest". Those days went the way of manual cash registers. Publix and any other stores have check authorisation due to so many bad checks. This is the way of the world people. Even your dr office does it. So, you may not be happy with that but surely it's unfair to hold this particular Publix to a standard that is mandated by a home office somewhere I like the variety and fresh produce at this Publix......other grocery stores don't have it. You might pay a bit more. But it's worth it! read more

Just did a little shopping there this morning and I couldn't be more impressed with this store. Absolutely immaculate inside and the parking lot was spotless too. Very much like the fact that I can get Boar's Head brand products there. First rate customer service in the deli department and at the register. If I could give them a zero I would. I went to the bakery (Palm Coast Belle Terre)to buy a carrot cake and the girl was frosting one as I stood there. I asked if I could by the cake and she said no, they sell the round carrot cakes by the slice and I could buy 8 slices to make a whole cake. Yes I could do that like a puzzle. I decided to buy the log carrot cake and asked her to write happy birthday and take the carrot off and she said she couldn't. I guess that's included in their policy and procedure handbook of the store not to take the frosting carrots off cakes. I opted to have happy birthday written around the carrot. This is my sons favorite cake, otherwise I would have left. The customer service was good at one time but has increasingly gone down hill. Too bad. I'll stick to Publix at Murabella where customer service is exemplary. read more

Although they are pricier, I always thought the publix sandwiches were a notch above the Subway. Last time I order their Philly the publix maker actually did the cooking of the meat, onions, peppers and cheese on the stove, came out to be a hot and the sandwich was stuffed. This time when I ordered, the maker place the items in a tray and put it in a microwave oven (as I thought, oh man am I back at Subway?) anyhow, the Philly was luke warm, they skimp on the meat but the sandwich was still the same price almost at $10. I should have gone to the chinese food place next store and gotten cooked food. read more
