For that I am so grateful! After a day of driving, a half tank of gas, getting turned away from every grocery store without being helped at all, he mended my day and saved us! The best thing that Winn-Dixie did was put in emphasis back on their meat. For a company that once probably themselves on their beef, they started bringing in inferior cuts of beef and honestly we're not worth even the sale price that they were selling it for. Winn-Dixie started bringing back in USDA Choice and putting an emphasis on it. This alone could have brought people back. But they also seem to have put an emphasis on customer service and their stores have cleaned up tremendously. I would definitely recommend this particular location. I began trying to get someone's attention on the cameras (in every aisle) and singing Walmart, Walmart, we need some help here. NO ONE came. I eventually found a masked associate and asked for her help. She did open the case WITHOUT A SINGLE SYLLABLE OF GREETING OR REPLY. Absolutely ridiculous. Then, if you get inside, it's like surviving the Walking Dead. The narrow aisles are filled with zombie- like people wandering or waddling and will not get out of the way. Soon after I made it inside, two 300lb plus female land mammals almost engaged in mortal combat. Once I got passed them, every aisle was virtually blocked by people standing around, looking at phones or yacking. I endured this only to find that they didn't have most of what I was looking for. In the future, I'll pay extra to not deal with this.

The pharmacy was understandably busy, but completely lacking and empathy and concern about the fact that I really needed to get this family member home. I asked for the possibility of expediting the prescription and was met with a blank face and "no". I was told the weight was 45 minutes and that was what it was. I ended up having to take her home and come all the way back into town. I understand we are no longer in the "local family pharmacy" era, but I would've thought that a healthcare professional session as a pharmacist would have a little bit more empathy.
